Allergic To . . .		알레르기를 일으키는
[ Titus 3:3 - 3:11 ] - hymn 395 Abstain from every form of evil. - 1 Thessalonians 5:22 One of our grandchildren is allergic to several kinds of foods. Milk, cheese, eggs, and ice cream are among the items she has to avoid. Even a small amount of these things is detrimental to her health. She¡¯s not alone in being required to avoid certain things in life. While her allergies are related to her physical well-being, each of us as believers in Jesus has dangers we need to stay away from to maintain spiritual health. Scripture gives us a clear indication of what we are ¡°allergic to¡± spiritually. Every kind of evil (1 Thess. 5:22). This should cause us to think about the choices we make, because taking part in what is clearly evil is not good for our spiritual vitality. Foolish disputes and arguments (2 Tim. 2:23; Titus 3:9). This takes discernment, for some arguments have merit in defending the faith. But those for which there is no answer or which have no bearing on truth only cause dissension. Sexual immorality (1 Thess. 4:3). The Bible says that any sexual activity outside the boundaries of a marriage between a man and a woman is immoral (Gen. 2:24; Ex. 20:14; 1 Cor. 7:2; Heb. 13:4). Are we willing to make the effort to steer clear of things we are spiritually ¡°allergic to¡±? To avoid sin, nip it in the bud of temptation.

Titus 3:3-11

[3] For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
[4] But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
[5] not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
[6] whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
[7] that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
[8] This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
[9] But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.
[10] Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,
[11] knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

오늘 죄가 유혹하는 미끼들을 피하고
악한 생각들을 제어하라
그렇지 않으면 악한 것들이 당신을 조종하고
언젠가 당신을 지배하게 되리라!

죄를 피하려면 유혹의 싹을 잘라 버려라.

디도서 3:3-11

[3] 우리도 전에는 어리석은 자요 순종하지 아니한 자요 속은 자요 여러 가지 정욕과 행락에 종 노릇 한 자요 악독과 투기를 일삼은 자요 가증스러운 자요 피차 미워한 자였으나
[4] 우리 구주 하나님의 자비와 사람 사랑하심이 나타날 때에
[5] 우리를 구원하시되 우리가 행한 바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고 오직 그의 긍휼하심을 따라 중생의 씻음과 성령의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨나니
[6] 우리 구주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 그 성령을 풍성히 부어 주사
[7] 우리로 그의 은혜를 힘입어 의롭다 하심을 얻어 영생의 소망을 따라 상속자가 되게 하려 하심이라
[8] 이 말이 미쁘도다 원하건대 너는 이 여러 것에 대하여 굳세게 말하라 이는 하나님을 믿는 자들로 하여금 조심하여 선한 일을 힘쓰게 하려 함이라 이것은 아름다우며 사람들에게 유익하니라
[9] 그러나 어리석은 변론과 족보 이야기와 분쟁과 율법에 대한 다툼은 피하라 이것은 무익한 것이요 헛된 것이니라
[10] 이단에 속한 사람을 한두 번 훈계한 후에 멀리하라
[11] 이러한 사람은 네가 아는 바와 같이 부패하여 스스로 정죄한 자로서 죄를 짓느니라
