Recession Proof		불경기 견뎌내기
[ 1 Chronicles 29:10 - 29:13 ] - hymn 20 All that is in heaven and in earth is Yours. — 1 Chronicles 29:11 In his sermon titled ¡°What Is the Recession For?¡± pastor John Piper suggests that when the economy plummets, God has His own purposes. Some of them might be: 1. To expose hidden sin and so bring us to repentance and cleansing. 2. To wake us up to the constant and desperate condition of the developing world, where there is always and only recession of the worst kind. 3. To relocate the roots of our joy in His grace rather than in our goods, in His mercy rather than in our money, in His worth rather than in our wealth. 4. To advance His saving mission in the world—the spread of the gospel and the growth of His church—precisely at a time when human resources are least able to support it. 5. To bring His church to care for its hurting members and to grow in the gift of love. What else does God want to teach us in difficult times? That nothing is impossible with Him(Luke1:37). That He who owns ¡°the cattle on a thousand hills¡±(Ps.50:10) is not limited by an economic downturn. That God hasn¡¯t placed a moratorium on the Great Commission nor abandoned us (Matt.28:20). Let¡¯s not put our hopes on worldly prosperity, but on the One who owns it all! — Cindy Hess Kasper		[ 역대상 29:10 - 29:13 ] - 찬송가 20 장 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 — 역대상 29:11 “불경기는 왜 오는가?”라는 제목의 설 교에서 존 파이퍼 목사는 경제가 폭락할 때에 하나님께서는 그분만의 고유한 목적을 갖고 계실 것이라고 말했습니다. 아래에 그 예를 들어 보았습니다. 1. 숨은 죄를 드러내어 우리를 회개하게 하고 정결하게 만들기 위하여. 2. 최악의 불경기와 늘 직면하고 있는 개발도상국가들의 절박한 상황을 우리들에게 일깨워 주려고. 3. 우리의 기쁨의 근원을 물질소유에서 주님의 은혜로, 돈으로부터 주님의 긍휼로, 부에서 주님에 대한 가치로 옮겨 놓기 위하여. 4. 인간의 재원으로는 뒷받침하기 어려운 바로 그 시기에 복음이 전파되고 교회가 성장하는 주님의 구원사역을 추진하기 위하여. 5. 주님의 교회로 하여금 상처받은 교인들을 돌보고 또 사랑의 선물 안에서 성장시키기 위해서. 어려운 시기에 하나님께서 우리에게 가르쳐 주시기를 원하는 것은 이들 외에 또 무엇이 있을까요? 하나님께는 능치 못하심이 없다는 것(눅 1:37), “수많은 가축을 갖고 계신”(시 50:10) 하나님은 경제 불황에 영향을 받지 않으신다는 것, 또 하나님은 우리에게 주신 지상명령을 중단시키신 적이 없으며, 우리를 버리신 적도 없다는 것 등입니다(마 28:20). 우리의 희망을 세상의 풍족함에 두지 말고, 모든 것을 소유하신 하나님께 둡시다.

When difficulties come our way,
God uses them to show
That when we put our trust in Him
His goodness we will know. — per

[10] Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said£º "Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
[11] Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all.
[12] Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.
[13] "Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.

역경이 우리에게 닥칠 때
하나님은 그 역경을 사용하시어 보여주시리
하나님을 신뢰할 때
그의 선하심을 알게 됨을

당신이 소유한 것이라고는 하나님뿐이라면
당신은 필요한 것 모두를 가진 것이다.

역대상 29:10-13

[10] 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 이르되 우리 조상 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주는 영원부터 영원까지 송축을 받으시옵소서
[11] 여호와여 위대하심과 권능과 영광과 승리와 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만물의 머리이심이니이다
[12] 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만물의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 사람을 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다
[13] 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다
