Unique Privileges		굉장한 특권
[ Romans 8:12 - 8:17 ] - hymn 46 Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself. - Ephesians 1:5 In Forever Young: My Friendship with John F. Kennedy, Jr., Billy Noonan recalls the life experiences he shared with the son of President John Kennedy. In 1980, as one of the stories goes, John Jr. and Billy were invited aboard the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier. On a guided tour of the ship, the two young men and their guide inadvertently entered a restricted area. When an officer stopped them, the guide pointed to John and said, ¡°This is his father¡¯s ship.¡± Snapping to attention, the officer saluted John. He explained his understanding that when a US Navy ship is named for someone, it is considered that person¡¯s ship. Thus, as the son of the man for whom the ship was named, John Jr. had unique privileges. This illustrates a vital spiritual principle. As adopted children in God¡¯s family, we who have been saved possess the position of sonship. Paul wrote that as believers we are ¡°predestined ... to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself¡±(Eph.1:5). By virtue of this sonship, we have the unique privileges that belong to the children of the King of kings. In life¡¯s challenging voyage, we can take courage that our ¡°Abba, Father¡±(Rom.8:15) owns the ship and shares all with us. Praise God, we are joint-heirs with Christ! — Dennis Fisher		[ 로마서 8:12 - 8:17 ] - 찬송가 46 장 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니－에베소서 1:5 「영원한 청년: 존 에프 케네디 쥬니어와의 우정」에서 빌리 누넌은 케네디 대통령의 아들과 나누었던 인생 경험을 회상합니다. 그 중 한 이야기에 의하면, 1980년에 존 주니어와 빌리는 미 해군 항공모함 존에프 케네디호에 초대를 받았습니다. 가이드의 도움을 받아 배를 돌아보던 중, 두 젊은이와 가이드가 실수로 제한구역에 들어갔습니다. 장교 한 사람이 그들을 제지했을 때, 가이드는 존을 가리키며, “이 배는 이 사람 아버지의 배입니다”라고 말했습니다. 재빨리 차려 자세를 취한 그 장교는 존에게 경례를 했습니다. 그 가이드는 미 해군 군함에 어떤 사람의 이름이 붙여지면 그 배는 바로 그 사람의 소유로 간주된다고 자기가 아는 바를 설명해 주었습니다. 그런 연고로 그 배에 자기 이름이 붙여진 사람의 아들로서 존 주니어는 굉장한 특권을 가졌던 것입니다. 이 예화는 중요한 영적원리를 보여 주고 있습니다. 하나님의 가족에 입양된 자로서, 구원받은 우리는 아들의 신분을 갖게 되었습니다. 바울은 믿는 자인 우리를, “예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니”(엡 1:5)라고 기록하였습니다. 바로 이 아들의 신분으로, 우리는 왕 중 왕의 자녀들에 속하는 굉장한 특권을 가진 것입니다. 만만치 않은 인생의 항해에서, 우리는 우리의 “아바 아버지”(롬 8:15)께서 우리가 타고 가는 이 배를 소유하실 뿐 아니라, 모든 것을 우리와 함께 나누고 계신다는 사실에 큰 위로를 받아야 합니다. 하나님께 찬양드립시다. 우리는 그리스도와 공동 상속자랍니다!

A Christian¡¯s inheritance is guaranteed forever!

Romans 8:12-17

[12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
[13] For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
[15] For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
[16] The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
[17] and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

예수 그리스도 우리 주님을 통하여
하나님이 가지신 것 우리가 공유하네
하나님의 말씀에 의거하여
주님과의 공동 상속자가 되었네

그리스도인의 상속은 영원히 보장된다.

로마서 8:12-17

[12] 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 빚진 자로되 육신에게 져서 육신대로 살 것이 아니니라
[13] 너희가 육신대로 살면 반드시 죽을 것이로되 영으로써 몸의 행실을 죽이면 살리니
[14] 무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라
[15] 너희는 다시 무서워하는 종의 영을 받지 아니하고 양자의 영을 받았으므로 우리가 아빠 아버지라고 부르짖느니라
[16] 성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증언하시나니
[17] 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 할 것이니라
