[ Psalms 103:19 - 103:22 ] - hymn 36 Bless the Lord, you His angels. — Psalm 103:20 I was having a conversation with some children about God and superheroes when Tobias asked a question. An imaginative, curious 5-year-old, he asked anyone listening: ¡°Does God have a sidekick like Hercules does?¡± His wiser, older brother, age 7, quickly responded: ¡°Yes, He has thousands of them—they¡¯re His angels.¡± Angels are a popular topic of discussion, and people believe a number of myths about them. For instance, some people pray to angels, thinking they are on the same level as God Himself. And some believe that people become angels when they die. But here¡¯s what the Bible, our authority, teaches: • God created angels(Col.1:15-17). • Angels worship God(Neh.9:6), and are known by these terms: archangels(Jude1:9), cherubim(2 Kings19:15), and seraphim(Isa.6:1-3). • They minister to God¡¯s people(Heb.1:13-14) by guarding and protecting them(Ps.91:9-12). • They are given special assignments by God(Matt.1:20; Luke1:26). • God¡¯s angels rejoice when we repent of sin and turn to Christ for salvation (Luke15:7,10). Only God deserves our worship. So let¡¯s join the angels in singing His praises! — Anne Cetas		[ 시편 103:19 - 103:22 ] - 찬송가 36 장 너희 천사여 여호와를 송축하라 －시편 103:20 어린이들에게 하나님에 대한 이야기와 함께 세상의 위대한 영웅들에 대한 이야기를 들려주고 있을 때 토비아가 질문을 하였습니다. 상상력이 풍부하고 호기심이 많은 이 다섯 살짜리 아이가 “하나님에게도 헤라클레스처럼 짝패가 있나요?” 좀 더 철이 든 일곱 살짜리 그의 형이 곧 다음과 같이 대답했습니다, “그럼, 하나님에게는 수천 명이 있지. 그들이 바로 천사들이야.” 천사는 사람들의 화제에 자주 오르내리며, 또 사람들은 천사에 대한 많은 신화를 믿고 있습니다. 한 예로, 어떤 사람들은 천사를 하나님과 동일시하여, 그들에게 기도를 드리기도 합니다. 또한 사람이 죽은 후 천사가 된다고 믿는 사람들도 있습니다. 그러나 모든 것의 권위가 되는 성경은 다음과 같이 가르쳐 줍니다. • 하나님이 천사를 창조하셨습니다(골 1:15-17). • 천사는 하나님을 경배합니다(느 9:6). 그리고 천사장(유 1:9), 그룹(왕하 19:15), 스랍(사 6:1-3) 등과 같은 이름을 가집니다. • 그들은 하나님의 백성을 지키고 보호하며(시 91:9-12) 돌봅니다(히 1:13-14). • 그들은 하나님으로부터 특별한 임무를 부여 받습니다(마 1:20; 눅 1:26). • 하나님의 천사들은 우리가 죄를 회개하고 그리스도에게 돌아와서 구원을 받을 때 기뻐합니다(눅 15:7,10). 오직 하나님 한 분만이 우리의 경배를 받으실 수 있습니다. 그러므로 이제 천사들과 함께 하나님께 경배의 찬양을 드립시다.

Psalm 103:19-22

[19] The LORD has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.
[20] Bless the LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.
[21] Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
[22] Bless the LORD, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!

[21] 그에게 수종들며 그의 뜻을 행하는 모든 천군이여 여호와를 송축하라
[22] 여호와의 지으심을 받고 그가 다스리시는 모든 곳에 있는 너희여 여호와를 송축하라 내 영혼아 여호와를 송축하라
