Widening Your Perspective		안목 넓히기
[ Matthew 28:16 - 28:20 ] - hymn 273 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations. — Matthew 28:19 A missionary and I were invited to lunch with David, a man in his late seventies who generously supported the missionary¡¯s ministry. David was not able to visit the missionary¡¯s country, but as he gave thanks for the food, he prayed with complete ease for the people, places, and situations there. Having prayed regularly for that ministry, he had no trouble mentioning specifics. David had a perspective on missions that extended beyond his own country of Singapore. Our Lord Jesus commanded us to have a worldwide perspective on missions. When He said, ¡°Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, ... teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you¡±(Matt.28:19-20), He was not asking us to buy an around-the-world ticket to do His bidding. We may not have the opportunity to travel much beyond our own birthplace, but we can be involved with what¡¯s going on in the world without leaving our hometown. But how? Is there an international student living near you? A family from another country who is trying to cope with life in a new country? Or just a lonely person whom you can cheer up? Sharing Jesus¡¯ love with them is your way of crossing the oceans with the gospel. — C. P. Hia		[ 마태복음 28:16 - 28:20 ] - 찬송가 273 장 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 — 마태복음 28:19 선교사 한 분과 나는 그 선교사의 사역을 아낌없이 후원하는 70대 후반의 데이빗으로부터 점심식사에 초대받았습니다. 데이빗은 아직까지 그 선교사의 선교지를 방문할 수는 없었지만, 식사기도를 드리면서 선교지와 그곳 사람들, 그리고 그곳 상황을 위해 아주 자연스럽게 기도하였습니다. 선교사역을 위해서 규칙적으로 기도하였기 때문에, 그는 구체적인 기도를 드리는데 전혀 어려움이 없었던 것입니다. 데이빗은 자기 나라 싱가포르를 넘어선 선교에 대한 넓은 안목을 가지고 있었습니다. 우리 주 예수님은 선교에 관한 세계적인 안목을 가지라고 우리에게 명령하셨습니다. 주님께서 “가서 모든 족속으로 제자를 삼아...내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라”(마 28:19-20)라고 말씀하신 것은 주님의 분부를 수행하기 위해 세계일주 비행기표를 사라는 뜻은 아닙니다. 우리는 어쩌면 우리의 고향을 벗어나 여행할 기회를 못 얻을 수도 있습니다. 하지만 우리는 고향을 떠나지 않고서도 세계에서 일어나는 일들에 참여할 수 있습니다. 어떻게 그렇게 할 수 있을까요? 당신 주위에 외국 학생이 살고 있습니까? 다른 나라에서 와서 새로운 나라에 적응하려고 애쓰는 가정이 있습니까? 아니면 단순히 당신이 용기를 북돋아줄 수 있는 외로운 사람이 있습니까? 당신이 예수님의 사랑을 그들과 나눔으로써 당신은 복음을 들고 대양을 건너가 선교하는 것입니다.

A Prayer: Lord, widen my world. I want to be a part of the work You are doing. Give me eyes to see as You see, hands to serve others, and a heart to share Your gospel. Amen.

If you look through the eyes of Jesus, you¡¯ll see a needy world.

Matthew 28:16-20

[16] Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.
[17] When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
[18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
[19] "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[20] "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

기도: 주님 저의 세계를 넓혀주소서
주님께서 하시는 사역에 동참하기 원합니다
주님께서 보시는 것을 보는 눈과 다른 사람을 섬기는 손을,
그리고 주님의 복음을 나눌 마음을 주소서. 아멘

예수님의 눈을 통해 볼 때 도움이 필요한 세상을 볼 수 있다.

[16] 열한 제자가 갈릴리에 가서 예수께서 지시하신 산에 이르러
[17] 예수를 뵈옵고 경배하나 아직도 의심하는 사람들이 있더라
[18] 예수께서 나아와 말씀하여 이르시되 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 내게 주셨으니
[19] 그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 침례를 베풀고
[20] 내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라
