An Urge To Be Anonymous		익명으로 하라
[ Matthew 6:1 - 6:4 ] - hymn 350 When you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your ... deed may be in secret. — Matthew 6:3-4 The urge to misbehave and the desire to be anonymous always visit me together. Like partners making a sales call, they do their best to convince me that I can afford to do something wrong because I won¡¯t have to pay. Human nature tells us to use the cover of anonymity to avoid taking the blame for the bad things we do. God, however, tells us something else. He wants us to use anonymity to avoid taking credit for the good that we do(Matt.6:4). Why is it that the urge to remain anonymous seldom accompanies my desire to do good! The Bible says we¡¯re not to let one hand know the good that the other is doing(vv.3-4). In other words, within the body of Christ our deeds of charity should be done without calling attention to ourselves. This does not mean, however, that God wants good deeds to remain hidden; it just means that they should be done in a way that makes a good name for God, not ourselves(5:16). When we volunteer our services or make donations to churches and organizations that do good work in the name of Jesus, we receive something much better than honor from our peers. We receive rewards from God, and God receives glory from others!(1 Peter 2:12). — Julie Ackerman Link		[ 마태복음 6:1 - 6:4 ] - 찬송가 350 장 너는 구제할 때에 오른손 의 하는 것을 왼손이 모르 게 하여 네 구제함이 은밀 하게 하라 - 마태복음 6:3-4 나쁜 짓을 하고 싶은 충동과 들키지 않았으면 하는 바람은 항상 함께 내게로 다가옵니다. 아무런 대가도 치를 일이 없으니 뭔가 나쁜 짓을 해도 좋다고 마치 방문 판매원처럼 나를 설득하려고 최선을 다합니다. 나쁜 일을 하고나서 비난을 피하려면 익명이라는 덮개를 사용하라고 인간의 본성이 우리에게 말합니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리에게 다르게 말씀하십니다. 하나님은 우리가 선한 일을 하고 나서 칭찬받는 것을 피하기 위해 익명을 사용하기를 원하십니다(마 6:4). 그런데 왜 익명으로 남겠다는 생각에 선한 일을 하고 싶다는 생각은 함께 다가오지 않을까요! 성경은 한 손이 하는 좋은 일을 다른 손이 모르도록 하라고 합니다(3-4절). 다시 말하자면 그리스도의 지체 안에서 행해지는 우리의 구제가 다른 사람들의 시선을 끌지 않도록 해야 한다는 것입니다. 그렇다고 해서 하나님께서 선한 일이 알려지지 않기를 원하시는 것은 아닙니다. 우리들 자신이 아니라 하나님의 이름을 드높이는 방향으로 선행을 하라는 의미입니다(5:16). 선한 일을 하는 교회나 단체에 예수님의 이름으로 자원봉사를 하거나 기부를 할 때 우리는 주위 사람들로부터 받는 명예보다 훨씬 더 좋은 것을 받게 됩니다. 우리는 하나님으로부터 상급을 받고 하나님은 다른 모든 사람들로부터 영광을 받으십니다!(벧전 2:12).

When we serve in Jesus¡¯ name, He gets the glory.

Matthew 6:1-4

[1] "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
[2] "Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
[3] "But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
[4] "that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

하나님은 당신을 축복하고 지키시며 사랑하시고
당신의 노력이 성공하도록 당신을 도우시네
당신의 팔에는 힘이, 당신의 그 영혼에는 주의 사랑 깃들게 하시네
주의 미소가 상급이요 주의 영광이 당신의 목표가 되리

예수님 이름으로 봉사하면 주께서 영광 받으신다.

[1] 사람에게 보이려고 그들 앞에서 너희 의를 행하지 않도록 주의하라 그리하지 아니하면 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 상을 받지 못하느니라
[2] 그러므로 구제할 때에 외식하는 자가 사람에게서 영광을 받으려고 회당과 거리에서 하는 것 같이 너희 앞에 나팔을 불지 말라 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 그들은 자기 상을 이미 받았느니라
[3] 너는 구제할 때에 오른손이 하는 것을 왼손이 모르게 하여
[4] 네 구제함을 은밀하게 하라 은밀한 중에 보시는 너의 아버지께서 갚으시리라
