It¡¯s All About The Heart		결국은 마음이다
[ Matthew 15:7 - 15:20 ] - hymn 479 Those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart. - Matthew 15:18 Every time Susan opens her mouth, it sounds like the blare of an ambulance siren. This TV commercial uses humor to indicate that a dental problem could reveal a more serious physical ailment. So she¡¯d better see her dentist soon! The commercial made me think about what comes out of my mouth when I open it. Jesus said that our words come from our heart(Matt.15:18). He offended the Pharisees when He said, ¡°Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man¡±(vv.11-12). They thought they were right with God because they followed strict rules, including ritual cleansing of their hands before eating and eating only ¡°clean¡± foods. Jesus upset their pride. Jesus upsets our pride too. We may think we¡¯re godly people because we go to church regularly or pray, but then we gossip or talk about people behind their backs. James 3:9-10 says, ¡°With [our tongue] we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men .... Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing.... These things ought not to be so.¡± If a siren blares from our mouth when we open it, we need to examine our heart and ask the Lord to forgive us and to help us be a blessing to others. — Anne Cetas		[ 마태복음 15:7 - 15:20 ] - 찬송가 479 장 입에서 나오는 것들은 마음에서 나오나니 - 마태복음 15:18 수잔이 입을 열 때마다 마치 구급차의 사이렌 같은 소리가 납니다. 이 TV 광고는 치아 문제가 생각보다 심각한 신체 질환이라는 사실을 유머를 통해 보여주고 있습니다. 수잔은 서둘러 치과의사를 만나야 될 것 같군요! 그 광고는 내가 입을 열 때 내 입에서 무슨 말들이 나올까 생각하도록 해주었습니다. 예수께서는 우리의 말은 마음에서 나온다고 말씀 하셨습니다(마15:18). 예수께서 “입에 들어가는 것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이 아니라 입에서 나오는 그것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이니라”(11-12절)라고 하신 말씀은 바리새인들을 불쾌하게 만들었습니다. 그들은 율법을 철저히 지켰으므로 자신들이 하나님 앞에서 의롭다고 여겼던 것입니다. 먹기 전에 의식적으로 손을 씻고 오직 “정결한” 음식만을 먹는 것도 그들이 지키는 율법의 하나였습니다. 예수께서는 그들의 교만을 꺾으셨던 것입니다. 예수께서는 우리의 교만도 꺾으십니다. 주일마다 교회에 가고 기도하기 때문에 스스로 신앙이 깊은 사람이라고 여기면서도, 사람들이 없는 데서는 남에 대한 험담을 늘어놓거나 수군거립니다. 야고보서 3장 9-10절은 “이것으로 우리가 주 아버지를 찬송하고 또 이것으로...사람을 저주하니 한 입으로 찬송과 저주가 나는도다....이것이 마땅치 아니하니라”라고 말합니다. 우리가 입을 열 때 사이렌이 울리면 스스로의 마음을 반성해 보고 주님께 용서를 구한 다음, 다른 사람들에게 우리가 축복이 되게 해달라고 간구해야 합니다.

Lord, cleanse our hearts so what we speak
Will be reflective of Your grace;
And help us to control our tongues
So we¡¯ll not bring on You disgrace. — Sper

Matthew 15:7-20

[7] "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying£º
[8] 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
[9] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"
[10] When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, "Hear and understand£º
[11] "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man."
[12] Then His disciples came and said to Him, "Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?"
[13] But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
[14] "Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch."
[15] Then Peter answered and said to Him, "Explain this parable to us."
[16] So Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding?
[17] "Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
[18] "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
[19] "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
[20] "These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

주님, 우리 마음을 정결케 하셔서
우리 말 속에 당신의 은혜가 나타나게 하소서
우리 혀를 주장하사
주님을 부끄럽지 않게 하소서

당신이 말을 할 때마다 당신의 마음이 보인다.

마태복음 15:7-20

[7] 외식하는 자들아 이사야가 너희에 관하여 잘 예언하였도다 일렀으되
[8] 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 공경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다
[9] 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라 하시고
[10] 무리를 불러 이르시되 듣고 깨달으라
[11] 입으로 들어가는 것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이 아니라 입에서 나오는 그것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이니라
[12] 이에 제자들이 나아와 이르되 바리새인들이 이 말씀을 듣고 걸림이 된 줄 아시나이까
[13] 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 심은 것마다 내 하늘 아버지께서 심으시지 않은 것은 뽑힐 것이니
[14] 그냥 두라 그들은 맹인이 되어 맹인을 인도하는 자로다 만일 맹인이 맹인을 인도하면 둘이 다 구덩이에 빠지리라 하시니
[15] 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 이 비유를 우리에게 설명하여 주옵소서
[16] 예수께서 이르시되 너희도 아직까지 깨달음이 없느냐
[17] 입으로 들어가는 모든 것은 배로 들어가서 뒤로 내버려지는 줄 알지 못하느냐
[18] 입에서 나오는 것들은 마음에서 나오나니 이것이야말로 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
[19] 마음에서 나오는 것은 악한 생각과 살인과 간음과 음란과 도둑질과 거짓 증언과 비방이니
[20] 이런 것들이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이요 씻지 않은 손으로 먹는 것은 사람을 더럽게 하지 못하느니라
