Getting Involved		끼어들기
[ Luke 10:30 - 10:37 ] - hymn 342 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. - Psalm 111:4 "Isn¡¯t anybody going to help that poor guy?" Fred exclaimed as he and my husband, Tom, realized what had been causing traffic to creep down the busy five-lane road. A man lay sprawled between the lanes, bicycle on top of him, as vehicles simply drove around him. Fred turned on the warning flashers and blocked traffic with his car. Then both guys jumped out to help the shaken man. Fred and Tom got involved, as did the Samaritan man in Jesus¡¯ story in Luke 10. Like him, they overcame any reluctance they might have had to reach out to a man in distress. The Samaritan also had to overcome racial and cultural prejudice. The people we would have expected to help showed indifference to the injured man¡¯s plight. It¡¯s easy to find reasons not to get involved. Busyness, indifference, and fear often top the list. Yet as we seek to follow our Lord faithfully, we will become more aware of opportunities to show the kind of compassion He showed (Matt.14:14; 15:32; Mark 6:34). In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus commended the man who had acted out of compassion even though it was inconvenient, difficult, and costly to do so. Then, to us He says, ¡°Go and do likewise¡±(Luke 10:37). — Cindy Hess Kasper		[ 누가복음 10:30 - 10:37 ] - 찬송가 342 장 여호와는 은혜로우시고 자비하시도다－시편 111:4 "저 불쌍한 친구를 도와줄 사람이 없는가?" 내 남편 톰과 프레드가 번잡한 5차선 도로에서 차들이 거북이 걸음을 하도록 만드는 것이 무엇인지 알아차린 후 프레드가 소리쳤습니다. 차선 중간에 걸쳐서 한 사람이 자전거 밑에 쓰러져 있었고 자동차들은 그 사람을 그저 피해서 갈 뿐이었습니다. 프레드는 비상등을 켜고는 자신의 차로 교통을 차단했습니다. 그리고 둘은 나가 그 널부러진 사람을 도우려고 차에서 뛰어내렸습니다. 프레드와 톰은 누가복음 10장, 예수님의 이야기에 나오는 사마리아인이 그랬던 것처럼 그 사건에 끼어들었습니다. 사마리아인처럼 그들은 곤경에 처한 사람을 도울 때 느낄 수 있는 그 어떤 망설임도 극복했습니다. 사마리아인은 또한 인종적이고 문화적인 편견을 극복해야 했습니다. 도움을 줄 것이라고 우리가 기대했던 사람들이 그 부상당한 사람의 곤경에 무관심으로 일관했습니다. 이 같은 사건에 끼어들지 않으려는 이유를 찾기는 쉽습니다. 바쁘다는 것, 무관심, 그리고 두려움 등이 끼어들지 않으려는 첫 번째 이유로 꼽힙니다. 그렇지만 주님을 충실하게 따르기 위해 노력하다보면 우리는 주님이 보여주셨던 것과 같은 종류의 동정심을 보여줄 기회를 더욱 인지할 수 있게 될 것입니다(마 14:14; 15:32; 막 6:34). 선한 사마리아인의 비유에서, 예수님은 비록 불편하고 어렵고 또 많은 대가를 치러야 했지만 동정심을 실천에 옮긴 그 사마리아인을 칭찬하셨습니다. 그런 다음 주님은 우리를 향해 “가서 너도 이와 같이 하라”(눅 10:37)라고 말씀하셨습니다.

Luke 10:30-37

[30] Then Jesus answered and said£º "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
[31] "Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
[32] "Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.
[33] "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.
[34] "So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
[35] "On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.'
[36] "So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?"
[37] And he said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."

우리가 다른 사람의 멍에를 나누어 질 때
하나님의 사랑과 보살핌을 나타내네
인생이 너무나 버거울 때
구제와 평안을 제공하네

진정한 동정심은 사랑을 실천으로 옮기게 한다.

누가복음 10:30-37

[30] 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가 강도를 만나매 강도들이 그 옷을 벗기고 때려 거의 죽은 것을 버리고 갔더라
[31] 마침 한 제사장이 그 길로 내려가다가 그를 보고 피하여 지나가고
[32] 또 이와 같이 한 레위인도 그 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되
[33] 어떤 사마리아 사람은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
[34] 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워 주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주니라
[35] 그 이튿날 그가 주막 주인에게 데나리온 둘을 내어 주며 이르되 이 사람을 돌보아 주라 비용이 더 들면 내가 돌아올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니
[36] 네 생각에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐
[37] 이르되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 하시니라
