[ Luke 14:25 - 14:35 ] - hymn 355 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. — Luke 14:26 Nechayev, a 19th-century disciple of Karl Marx who had a role in the assassination of Czar Alexander II, wrote: ¡°The revolutionary man ... has no personal interests, no business affairs, no emotions, no attachments, no property, and no name. Everything in him is wholly absorbed in the single thought and the single passion for revolution.¡± Although his motives and goals were wrong, Nechayev¡¯s statement shows the singlemindedness of commitment. Jesus wanted true commitment from His disciples. In Luke 14, we read that large crowds joined Him as He traveled toward Jerusalem(v.25). Perhaps these casual followers considered themselves to be His true disciples, but Jesus taught that following Him was more than just knowing facts about Him. He explained what it really meant to be His disciple when He defined the cost of discipleship: Nothing, not love for father or mother or even one¡¯s own life, was to take precedence over loyalty to Jesus(vv.26-33). His disciples (then and now) must acknowledge that if God is to be primary in their lives, possessions and even social relationships have to be secondary. Jesus calls His followers to be absorbed in a single, exclusive thought and passion—Him. - Marvin Williams		[ 누가복음 14:25 - 14:35 ] - 찬송가 355 장 무릇 내게 오는 자가 자기부모와 처자와 형제와 자매와 및 자기 목숨까지 미워하지 아니`하면 능히 나의 제자가 되지 못하고－누가복음 14:26 알렉산더 2세를 암살하는데 일익을 담당했던 19세기 칼 막스의 제자, 네챠예프는 “혁명가는 자신의 사적인 이해관계나, 사업, 애정, 감정, 집착, 재물, 이름도 없어야 한다. 그가 가진 모든 것을 혁명을 위한 한 가지 생각과 열정에 쏟아붓는다”라고 기술했습니다. 그의 동기와 목표는 잘못되었으나 네챠예프의 말은 일편단심의 헌신을 보여줍니다. 예수님께서는 제자들의 진실한 헌신을 원했습니다. 누가복음 14장은 예수님께서 예루살렘으로 올라가실 때 많은 군중이 그를 따랐다고 기술하고 있습니다(25절). 아마 그들은 자신들이 예수님의 참된 제자들이라고 여기고 따랐을지도 모릅니다. 그러나 예수님은 당신을 따른다는 것이 당신에 대한 사실을 안다는 것 이상의 의미가 있다는 것을 가르쳐주셨습니다. 예수님께서는 제자가 됨으로써 치러야하는 희생을 정의하심으로써 제자가 된다는 것의 의미를 설명하셨습니다. 부모님에 대한 사랑, 심지어 자신의 생명에 대한 사랑도, 세상의 그 무엇도 예수님을 향한 충성보다 앞설 수 없습니다(26-33절). 예수님의 제자들은 (그때나 지금이나) 하나님이 그들의 인생에서 제일순위에 계신다는 것을 인정한다면 모든 소유 그리고 사회적 인간관계까지도 부차적이 된다는 것을 알아야 합니다. 예수님은 오직 한 가지 유일한 생각과 열정으로 예수님께 몰두하라고 제자들에게 요구하십니다.

Luke 14:25-35

[25] Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them,
[26] "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
[27] "And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.
[28] "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it--
[29] "lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him,
[30] "saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.'
[31] "Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
[32] "Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.
[33] "So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
[34] "Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?
[35] "It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

예수님을 향한 사랑이 영적인 열정의 열쇠이다.

누가복음 14:25-35

[25] 수많은 무리가 함께 갈새 예수께서 돌이키사 이르시되
[26] 무릇 내게 오는 자가 자기 부모와 처자와 형제와 자매와 더욱이 자기 목숨까지 미워하지 아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하고
[27] 누구든지 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따르지 않는 자도 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라
[28] 너희 중의 누가 망대를 세우고자 할진대 자기의 가진 것이 준공하기까지에 족할는지 먼저 앉아 그 비용을 계산하지 아니하겠느냐
[29] 그렇게 아니하여 그 기초만 쌓고 능히 이루지 못하면 보는 자가 다 비웃어
[30] 이르되 이 사람이 공사를 시작하고 능히 이루지 못하였다 하리라
[31] 또 어떤 임금이 다른 임금과 싸우러 갈 때에 먼저 앉아 일만 명으로써 저 이만 명을 거느리고 오는 자를 대적할 수 있을까 헤아리지 아니하겠느냐
[32] 만일 못할 터이면 그가 아직 멀리 있을 때에 사신을 보내어 화친을 청할지니라
[33] 이와 같이 너희 중의 누구든지 자기의 모든 소유를 버리지 아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라
[34] 소금이 좋은 것이나 소금도 만일 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요
[35] 땅에도, 거름에도 쓸 데 없어 내버리느니라 들을 귀가 있는 자는 들을지어다 하시니라
