[ Matthew 6:25 - 6:34 ] - hymn 102 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. - Matthew 6:33 A seminar leader wanted to make an important point, so he took a wide-mouth jar and filled it with rocks. ¡°Is the jar full?¡± he asked. ¡°Yes,¡± came a reply. ¡°Oh, really?¡± he said. Then he poured smaller pebbles into the jar to fill the spaces between the rocks. ¡°Is it full now?¡± ¡°Yes,¡± said someone else. ¡°Oh, really?¡± He then filled the remaining spaces between the rocks and stones with sand. ¡°Is it full now?¡± he asked. ¡°Probably not,¡± said another, to the amusement of the audience. Then he took a pitcher of water and poured it into the jar. ¡°What¡¯s the lesson we learn from this?¡± he asked. An eager participant spoke up, ¡°No matter how full the jar is, there¡¯s always room for more.¡± ¡°Not quite,¡± said the leader. ¡°The lesson is: to get everything in the jar, you must always put the big things in first.¡± Jesus proclaimed a similar principle in the Sermon on the Mount. He knew that we waste our time worrying about the little things that seem so urgent but crowd out the big things of eternal value. ¡°Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things,¡± Jesus reminded His hearers. ¡°But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you¡±(Matt.6:32-33). De Haan		[ 마태복음 6:25 - 6:34 ] - 찬송가 102 장 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와그의 의를 구하라－마태복음 6:33 세미나 인도자가 중요한 것을 강조하기 위해 입이 넓은 항아리를 큰 돌들로 채웠습니다. 그가 “항아리가 꽉 찼습니까?”라고 질문하자 “예.”라는 대답이 나왔습니다. 그는 “오, 그래요?”라고 하더니 더 작은 조약돌들을 항아리에 집어넣어 큰 돌들 사이의 공간을 채웠습니다. “이제 항아리가 꽉 찼습니까?” “예.” 다른 사람이 대답했습니다. “오, 정말요?” 그는 이번에는 큰 돌과 조약돌 사이에 남아있는 공간을 모래로 채웠습니다. “이제 항아리가 꽉 찼습니까?”라고 그가 또 묻자 어떤 사람이 “아닌 것 같아요.”라고 대답해서 청중들이 재미있어 했습니다. 그러자 그 인도자는 주전자를 집어 들고 항아리에 물을 부었습니다. “여기서 우리가 배울 수 있는 교훈이 무엇입니까?”라고 그가 물었습니다. 어떤 열정적인 참가자가 “항아리가 아무리 가득 채워진 것 같아 보여도 더 들어갈 수 있는 자리가 항상 있다는 것입니다.”라고 대답하자 인도자는 말했습니다. “글쎄, 아닌데요. 이 이야기의 교훈은 모든 것을 항아리에 집어넣으려면 항상 커다란 것을 먼저 집어넣어야 한다는 것입니다.” 예수님도 비슷한 원리를 산상수훈에서 선포하셨습니다. 예수님은 우리가 아주 절박한 것처럼 보이는 작은 일들을 걱정하는데 시간을 허비하느라 영원한 가치가 있는 더 크고 중요한 일들을 밀쳐내고 있는 것을 아셨습니다. 그래서 예수님은 “너희 천부께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라”(마6:32-33)라고 청중들에게 일깨워주셨습니다. 당신은 당신의 삶에서 무엇을 최우선의 자리에 놓고 있습니까?

Make It Practical
• Always pray before planning.
• Always love people more than things.
• Do all things to please God.

Matthew 6:25-34

[25] "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
[26] "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
[27] "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
[28] "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow£º they neither toil nor spin;
[29] "and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
[31] "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
[32] "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
[33] "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
[34] "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

실천합시다
* 계획하기 전에 먼저 항상 기도하기
* 항상 물건보다 사람을 더 사랑하기
* 하나님을 기쁘시게 하기 위해 모든 일을 하기

하늘에 보물을 쌓는 사람이 이 세상 최고의 부자다.

마태복음 6:25-34

[25] 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 목숨을 위하여 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라 목숨이 음식보다 중하지 아니하며 몸이 의복보다 중하지 아니하냐
[26] 공중의 새를 보라 심지도 않고 거두지도 않고 창고에 모아들이지도 아니하되 너희 하늘 아버지께서 기르시나니 너희는 이것들보다 귀하지 아니하냐
[27] 너희 중에 누가 염려함으로 그 키를 한 자라도 더할 수 있겠느냐
[28] 또 너희가 어찌 의복을 위하여 염려하느냐 들의 백합화가 어떻게 자라는가 생각하여 보라 수고도 아니하고 길쌈도 아니하느니라
[29] 그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지 못하였느니라
[30] 오늘 있다가 내일 아궁이에 던져지는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며 너희일까보냐 믿음이 작은 자들아
[31] 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라
[32] 이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 하늘 아버지께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라
[33] 그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
[34] 그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일이 염려할 것이요 한 날의 괴로움은 그 날로 족하니라
