Agreeing With God		하나님과 의견 일치
[ Matthew 15:1 - 15:9 ] - hymn 276 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. - Matthew 15:8 The caller to the radio program mentioned religion, so the radio talk show host began to rant about hypocrites. ¡°I can¡¯t stand religious hypocrites,¡± he said. ¡°They talk about religion, but they¡¯re no better than I am. That¡¯s why I don¡¯t like all this religious stuff.¡± This man didn¡¯t realize it, but he was agreeing with God. God has made it clear that He can¡¯t stand hypocrisy either. It¡¯s ironic, though, that something God opposes is used by some people as an excuse not to seek Him. Jesus said this about hypocrisy: ¡°These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men¡±(Matt.15:8-9). Notice what Jesus said to perhaps the biggest hypocrites of His day, the Pharisees. In Matthew 23, He called them hypocrites—not once, not twice, but seven times! They were religious people who were putting on a big show, but God knew their hearts. He knew they were far from Him. Non-Christians who point out hypocrisy in us when they see it are right in doing so. They are agreeing with God, who also despises it. Matthew 15:1-9

[1] Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying,
[2] "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread."
[3] He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?
[4] "For God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.'
[5] "But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God"--
[6] 'then he need not honor his father or mother.' Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.
[7] "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying£º
[8] 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
[9] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"

위선은 흔한 죄로서
위에 계신 주님을 슬프게 하니
그분은 믿음과 진실과 사랑으로
그를 경배하는 자를 찾으신다

사탄은 우리가 그리스도의 말씀을 실천하지 않는 한
우리가 그리스도인이라고 고백하게 내버려둔다.

마태복음 15:1-9

[1] 그 때에 바리새인과 서기관들이 예루살렘으로부터 예수께 나아와 이르되
[2] 당신의 제자들이 어찌하여 장로들의 전통을 범하나이까 떡 먹을 때에 손을 씻지 아니하나이다
[3] 대답하여 이르시되 너희는 어찌하여 너희의 전통으로 하나님의 계명을 범하느냐
[4] 하나님이 이르셨으되 네 부모를 공경하라 하시고 또 아버지나 어머니를 비방하는 자는 반드시 죽임을 당하리라 하셨거늘
[5] 너희는 이르되 누구든지 아버지에게나 어머니에게 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할 것이 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면
[6] 그 부모를 공경할 것이 없다 하여 너희의 전통으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하는도다
[7] 외식하는 자들아 이사야가 너희에 관하여 잘 예언하였도다 일렀으되
[8] 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 공경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다
[9] 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라 하시고
