Fever Pitch		병적인 열광
[ Matthew 22:34 - 22:40 ] - hymn 278 You shall love your neighbor as yourself. - Matthew 22:39 In the movie Fever Pitch, Ben Wrightman is crazy about the Boston Red Sox baseball team. He rarely misses a game during the spring and summer months. One winter, Ben falls in love with a young woman named Lindsey and wins her heart. Then spring rolls around, and she finds out that he's a different person during baseball season. He has no time for her unless she goes to the games with him. When Lindsey ends her relationship with Ben because of his fanaticism, he talks with a young friend, who says, "You love the Sox. But tell me, have they ever loved you back?" Those words cause Ben to analyze his priorities and to give more time to the woman he loves, who loves him back. We pour our lives into hobbies, pleasures, activities, work-many good things. But two things should always be thought about when making our choices. Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart .... You shall love your neighbor as yourself"(Matt.22:37,39). When it seems our life is getting out of balance, the question, "Has that hobby or activity or thing ever loved me back?" may help to keep us in check. Loving God and loving people are what really count. - Anne Cetas		[ 마태복음 22:34 - 22:40 ] - 찬송가 278 장 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 - 마태복음 22:39 영화「병적인 열광」에서 벤 라이트맨은 보스톤 레드삭스 야구팀에 미쳐있었습니다. 그는 봄과 여름철에는 경기를 놓치는 일이 거의 없습니다. 그러던 어느 겨울 벤은 린지라는 젊은 아가씨와 사랑에 빠지게 되고 그녀의 마음을 얻습니다. 봄철이 돌아오자 그녀는 벤이 야구시즌 중에는 전혀 다른 사람이 되는 것을 발견합니다. 그녀가 그와 함께 야구 경기에 가지 않는 한 벤은 그녀와 함께 보낼 시간이 전혀 없습니다. 린지가 벤의 야구에 대한 광적인 행동 때 문에 그와의 관계를 끝내자 벤이 그의 젊은 친구와 얘기를 나눕니다. 그 친구가 "너는 레드삭스를 사랑해. 그런데 그들이 네 사랑에 응답해서 너를 사랑해준 적이 있니?"라고 물어봅니다. 그 말이 벤으로 하여금 그의 우선순위를 다시 검토할 수 있도록 해주었고, 그의 사랑에 응답해 주는 사랑하는 여인에게 보다 많은 시간을 할애할 수 있도록 해 줍니다. 우리는 취미생활, 즐거움, 활동, 직업 등 많은 좋은 일들에 우리의 인생을 쏟아 넣습니다. 그러나 우리가 선택을 할 때에 두 가지 일은 항상 염두에 두어야 합니다. 예수님은 "마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라....네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라"(마22:37,39)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리의 삶이 균형을 잃은 것 같이 보일 때, "그 취미생활이나 여가활동이, 또는 그 물건이 내 사랑에 응답하여 나를 사랑해주었나?"라는 질문이 우리가 절제하는데 도움이 될 수도 있습니다. 하나님을 사랑하고 사람을 사랑하는 것이 무엇보다 중요합니다.

We show our love for God when we share His love with others.

Matthew 22:34-40

[34] But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.
[35] Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,
[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
[38] "This is the first and great commandment.
[39] "And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
[40] "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

주님의 거룩하신 일들이 합력하여 선을 이루는
그 위대하고 경건한 자취를 따르세
이 넓은 세상이 주님의 성전이 되고
사람마다 사랑하는 인생이 감사의 시편이 되도록

하나님의 사랑을 이웃과 나눌 때에
하나님을 사랑하는 것이 증명된다.

마태복음 22:34-40

[34] 예수께서 사두개인들로 대답할 수 없게 하셨다 함을 바리새인들이 듣고 모였는데
[35] 그 중의 한 율법사가 예수를 시험하여 묻되
[36] 선생님 율법 중에서 어느 계명이 크니이까
[37] 예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니
[38] 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요
[39] 둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니
[40] 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라
