Eat This Bread		이 빵을 먹으라
[ Matthew 26:20 - 26:30 ] - hymn 284 Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel. - Micah 5:2 Christmas isn't the time of year when our thoughts naturally turn to the Last Supper-or what the Jews called Passover. But that particular Passover is critical to Christmas. After breaking bread and giving it to His disciples, Jesus said, "Take, eat; this is My body"(Matt.26:26). Breaking bread was a traditional part of Passover, but adding "this is my body" was a striking departure from the familiar liturgy. The disciples must have been bewildered. Later the meaning became clear. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which means "house of Bread." He was laid in a manger-a feeding trough. He once said, "I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh"(John6:51). The prophet Micah indicated that One born in Bethlehem would rule over Israel(5:2). But not until Jesus came did anyone realize the uniqueness of this Kingdom. Christ's rule would not be imposed upon anyone; it would be imparted to those who accepted this new citizenship. As we sing of Bethlehem's manger, let's remember that the heaven-sent infant King came so that we might "eat this bread" and partake of His divine nature. - Julie Ackerman Link		[ 마태복음 26:20 - 26:30 ] - 찬송가 284 장 베들레헴 에브라다야 너는 유다 족속 중에 작을지라도 이스라엘을 다스릴자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이라 - 미가 5:2 크리스마스는 최후의 만찬, 혹은 유대인들이 말하는 유월절이 자연스레 생각나는 절기는 전혀 아닙니다. 그러나 그 특별한 유월절(최후의 만찬)은 크리스마스의 의미로 볼 때 정말 중요한 날입니다. 예수님은 빵을 떼신 후 제자들에게 주시면서 "받아서 먹으라 이것이 내 몸이니라"(마 26:26)고 말씀하셨습니다. 빵을 나누는 것은 유월절 전통 중의 하나였습니다. 그러나 "이것은 내 몸이니라"고 부언하신 것은 통상의 전례에서 현저하게 벗어난 것이었습니다. 제자들은 무척 당황했을 것입니다. 후에 그 의미는 확실해졌습니다. 예수님은 "빵을 만드는 집"이라는 뜻을 가진 베들레헴에서 태어나셨습니다. 그는 먹이를 주는 그릇인 구유에 뉘었습니다. 주님은 "나는 하늘로서 내려온 산 떡이니 사람이이 떡을 먹으면 영생하리라 나의 줄 떡은 곧 세상의 생명을 위한 내 살이로라"(요 6:51)라고 말씀하신 적이 있습니다. 미가 선지자는 베들레헴에서 태어난 그분께서 이스라엘을 다스릴 것이라고 말했습니다(5:2). 그러나 예수님이 오실 때까지 그 왕국 유일의 독특함을 깨달은 사람은 아무도 없었습니다. 그리스도의 통치는 누구에게나 적용되는 것이 아니고, 이 새로운 시민권을 인정하는 사람에게만 주어질 것입니다. 우리가 베들레헴의 구유를 노래할 때, 하늘에서 보내주신 아기 왕이 우리가 "이 빵을 먹고" 그분의 거룩함에 동참할 수 있도록 하시기 위해 오셨다는 것을 기억합시다.

Only Christ the Living Bread can satisfy our spiritual hunger.

Matthew 26:20-30

[20] Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
[21] And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
[22] And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
[23] And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.
[24] The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
[25] Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
[26] And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
[27] And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
[28] For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
[29] But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
[30] And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

생명의 말씀인 나의 주여
목 말라 주님을 찾나이다
해변서 무리를 먹임같이
갈급한 내 심령 채우소서

생명의 양식이신 그리스도만이
우리의 영적 허기를 채울 수 있다.

마태복음 26:20-30

[20] 저물 때에 예수께서 열 두 제자와 함께 앉으셨더니
[21] 저희가 먹을 때에 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희 중에 한 사람이 나를 팔리라 하시니
[22] 저희가 심히 근심하여 각각 여짜오되 주여 내니이까
[23] 대답하여 가라사대 나와 함께 그릇에 손을 넣는 그가 나를 팔리라
[24] 인자는 자기에게 대하여 기록된대로 가거니와 인자를 파는 그 사람에게는 화가 있으리로다 그 사람은 차라리 나지 아니하였더면 제게 좋을 뻔하였느니라
[25] 예수를 파는 유다가 대답하여 가로되 랍비여 내니이까 대답하시되 네가 말하였도다 하시니라
[26] 저희가 먹을 때에 예수께서 떡을 가지사 축복하시고 떼어 제자들을 주시며 가라사대 받아 먹으라 이것이 내 몸이니라 하시고
[27] 또 잔을 가지사 사례하시고 저희에게 주시며 가라사대 너희가 다 이것을 마시라
[28] 이것은 죄 사함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 바 나의 피 곧 언약의 피니라
[29] 그러나 너희에게 이르노니 내가 포도나무에서 난 것을 이제부터 내 아버지의 나라에서 새 것으로 너희와 함께 마시는 날까지 마시지 아니하리라 하시니라
[30] 이에 저희가 찬미하고 감람산으로 나아가니라
