Impossible Itokawa		믿을 수 없는 이토카와
[ Matthew 19:16 - 19:26 ] - hymn 202 With God all things are possible. - Matthew 19:26 In 2005, Japan's unmanned Haya-busa spacecraft visited an "impossible" asteroid. Images and data indicate that the asteroid, named Itokawa, is twice as porous as loose sand. This has astonished scientists, who believe that asteroids make repeated impacts with other space rocks and hence should be very dense. As they make additional discoveries, scientists may learn why Itokawa is different. But for now, we have an asteroid that challenges scientific understanding. Two thousand years ago, a young ruler asked Jesus an "impossible" question: "What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"(Matt.19:16). After an intriguing exchange, the man "went away sorrowful"(v.22) when he realized he would have to give up his wealth-the very thing he valued more than a relationship with Jesus. This upright man had kept the letter of the law, yet had fallen short. "Who then can be saved?" asked the astonished disciples(v.25). Jesus answered, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible"(v.26). The One who created this universe out of nothing has a history of accomplishing the impossible. When we forsake what this life has to offer and follow Him, He does the impossible once again-He gives us eternal life! - C. P. Hia		[ 마태복음 19:16 - 19:26 ] - 찬송가 202 장 하나님으로서는 다 할 수 있느니라 - 마태복음 19:26 2005년에 일본의 무인우주선 하야부사는 "믿을 수 없는" 한 소행성을 방문하였습니다. 이토카와라고 이름 붙여진 그 소행성의 사진이나 자료들을 보면 그 소행성은 엉성한 모래보다도 두 배나 더 다공성을 지닌 것으로 나타났습니다. 이것은 소행성들이 계속 다른 우주의 돌들과 충돌하는 과정에서 아주 단단해질 수밖에 없을 것이라고 믿고 있었던 과학자들을 놀라게 했습니다. 과학자들이 더 많은 발견을 하게 되면 왜 이토카와가 그렇게 다른지 알게 될 것입니다. 하지만 현재로서는 과학자들의 지식을 뛰어넘는 소행성이 존재하고 있는 셈입니다. 2000년 전에 어떤 젊은 관원이 예수님께 "내가 무슨 선한 일을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까"(마19:16)라고 "불가능"한 질문을 하였습니다. 흥미로운 대화를 나눈 후 그 청년은 자기가 예수님과의 관계보다도 더 크게 가치를 두었던 재물을 포기해야 한다는 것을 깨닫고는 "근심하며 갔습니다"(22절). 이 곧은 청년은 율법을 문자 그대로 지켰지만 여전히 모자란 부분이 있었던 것입니다. 놀란 제자들이 "그런즉 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있으리이까"(25절)라고 예수님께 묻자, 예수님은 "사람으로는 할 수 없으되 하나님으로서는 다 할 수 있느니라"(26절)라고 대답하셨습니다. 무에서 우주를 창조하신 그분은 불가능한 것을 가능케 하셨던 역사를 가지고 계십니다. 우리가 이 세상이 주는 것을 마다하고 그분을 따를 때 하나님은 또 한 번 불가능한 것을 가능케 해주십니다. 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주시는 것입니다!

Matthew 19:16-26

[16] Now behold, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"
[17] So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
[18] He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,'
[19] 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"
[20] The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"
[21] Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
[22] But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
[23] Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
[24] "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
[25] When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"
[26] But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

별들을 제 자리에 놓기 위해서는 기적이 필요했었네
이 세상을 우주에 매달기 위해서도 기적이 필요했었네
그러나 주님이 내 영혼을 구하시고 나를 깨끗케 하시며
온전케 하신 때에는 사랑과 은혜의 기적이 필요했었네

우리의 제한된 능력은 하나님의 무한하신 권능을 강조해준다.

마태복음 19:16-26

[16] 어떤 사람이 주께 와서 이르되 선생님이여 내가 무슨 선한 일을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
[17] 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 선한 일을 내게 묻느냐 선한 이는 오직 한 분이시니라 네가 생명에 들어가려면 계명들을 지키라
[18] 이르되 어느 계명이오니이까 예수께서 이르시되 살인하지 말라, 간음하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 거짓 증언 하지 말라,
[19] 네 부모를 공경하라, 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라 하신 것이니라
[20] 그 청년이 이르되 이 모든 것을 내가 지키었사온대 아직도 무엇이 부족하니이까
[21] 예수께서 이르시되 네가 온전하고자 할진대 가서 네 소유를 팔아 가난한 자들에게 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 따르라 하시니
[22] 그 청년이 재물이 많으므로 이 말씀을 듣고 근심하며 가니라
[23] 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 부자는 천국에 들어가기가 어려우니라
[24] 다시 너희에게 말하노니 낙타가 바늘귀로 들어가는 것이 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라 하신대
[25] 제자들이 듣고 몹시 놀라 이르되 그렇다면 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있으리이까
[26] 예수께서 그들을 보시며 이르시되 사람으로는 할 수 없으나 하나님으로서는 다 하실 수 있느니라
