God		하나님의 사랑이야기
[ Hosea 11:1 - 11:12 ] - hymn 403 How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? ... My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred. - Hosea 11:8 Is there any human feeling more powerful than that of betrayal? Ask a high school girl whose boyfriend has dumped her for a pretty cheerleader. Or tune your radio to a country-western station and listen to the lyrics of infidelity. Or check out the murders reported in the daily newspaper, an amazing number of which trace back to a quarrel with an estranged lover. In the Old Testament, God through Hosea's marriage demonstrates in living color exactly what it is like to love someone desperately and get nothing in return. Not even God, with all His power, will force a human being to love Him. Many people think of God as an impersonal force, something akin to the law of gravity. The book of Hosea portrays almost the opposite: a God of passion and fury and tears and love. A God in mourning over Israel's rejection of Him(11:8). God the lover does not desire to share His bride with anyone else. Yet, amazingly, when Israel turned her back on God, He stuck with her. He was willing to suffer, in hope that someday she would return to Him. Hosea, and later Jesus, prove that God longs not to punish but to love. In fact, He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us! - Philip Yancey		[ 호세아 11:1 - 11:12 ] - 찬송가 403 장 에브라임이여 내가 어찌 너를 놓겠느냐 이스라엘이여 내가 어찌 너를 버리겠느냐...내 마음이 내 속에서 돌아서 나의 긍휼이 온전히 불붙듯 하도다 - 호세아 11:8 배신당했다는 느낌보다 더 강렬한 인간의 감정이 있을까요? 예쁜 치어리더 때문에 남자친구에게 버림받은 여고생에게 물어보십시오. 아니면 컨트리웨스턴 라디오 방송에서 흘러나오는 불신으로 가득 찬 노래 가사들을 들어보십시오. 아니면 매일 신문에 보도 되는 살인 사건 중 얼마나 많은 사건들이 사이가 멀어진 연인들의 다툼에서 비롯된 것인지 보십시오. 구약성경에서 하나님은 호세아의 결혼을 통해서 어떤 사람을 필사적으로 사랑하고도 아무것도 되돌려 받지 못하는 상황의 어려움에 대해 적나라하게 보여주십니다. 전능하신 하나님마저도 인간으로 하여금 당신을 사랑하도록 강요하지 않으십니다. 많은 사람들이 하나님을 중력의 법칙처럼 인간적인 감정과 무관한 자연의 힘이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 호세아서는 그 반대로 하나님이 열정과 분노, 눈물과 사랑을 지니신 분으로 묘사해 줍니다. 이러한 하나님은 하나님을 거부한 이스라엘 때문에 슬퍼하십니다(호11:8). 연인으로서 하나님은 그분의 신부를 어느 누구에게도 빼앗기시기를 원치 않으십니다. 그러시기에 놀랍게도 이스라엘이 하나님을 외면했을 때에도 그들을 버리지 않으셨습니다. 하나님은 언젠가 신부가 돌아오리라는 희망으로 기꺼이 고통을 참으셨습니다. 호세아는, 그리고 후에는 예수님이, 하나님은 벌하기를 원치 않으시고 사랑하기를 원하신다고 증거합니다. 하나님이 우리를 그토록 사랑하시기에 그분의 독생자를 보내셔서 우리를 위해 돌아가시게 한 것입니다.

God loved us so much, He sent His only Son.

Hosea 11:1-12

[1] When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
[2] As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
[3] I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
[4] I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
[5] He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
[6] And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
[7] And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
[8] How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
[9] I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
[10] They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
[11] They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.
[12] Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

호세아 11:1-12

[1] 이스라엘의 어렸을 때에 내가 사랑하여 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러내었거늘
[2] 선지자들이 저희를 부를수록 저희가 점점 멀리하고 바알들에게 제사하며 아로새긴 우상앞에서 분향하였느니라
[3] 그러나 내가 에브라임에게 걸음을 가르치고 내 팔로 안을지라도 내가 저희를 고치는 줄을 저희가 알지 못하였도다
[4] 내가 사람의 줄 곧 사랑의 줄로 저희를 이끌었고 저희에게 대하여 그 목에서 멍에를 벗기는 자같이 되었으며 저희 앞에서 먹을 것을 두었었노라
[5] 저희가 애굽 땅으로 다시 가지 못하겠거늘 내게 돌아오기를 싫어하니 앗수르 사람이 그 임금이 될 것이라
[6] 칼이 저희의 성읍들을 치며 빗장을 깨뜨려 없이 하리니 이는 저희의 계책을 인함이니라
[7] 내 백성이 결심하고 내게서 물러가나니 비록 저희를 불러 위에 계신 자에게로 돌아오라 할지라도 일어나는 자가 하나도 없도다
[8] 에브라임이여 내가 어찌 너를 놓겠느냐 이스라엘이여 내가 어찌 너를 버리겠느냐 내가 어찌 아드마같이 놓겠느냐 어찌 너를 스보임 같이 두겠느냐 내 마음이 내 속에서 돌아서 나의 긍휼이 온전히 불붙듯 하도다
[9] 내가 나의 맹렬한 진노를 발하지 아니하며 내가 다시는 에브라임을 멸하지 아니하리니 이는 내가 사람이 아니요 하나님임이라 나는 네 가운데 거하는 거룩한 자니 진노함으로 네게 임하지 아니 하리라
[10] 저희가 사자처럼 소리를 발하시는 여호와를 좇을 것이라 여호와께서 소리를 발하시면 자손들이 서편에서부터 떨며 오되
[11] 저희가 애굽에서부터 새같이 앗수르에서부터 비둘기같이 떨며 오리니 내가 저희로 각 집에 머물게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
[12] 에브라임은 거짓으로 이스라엘 족속은 궤휼로 나를 에워쌌고 유다는 하나님 곧 신실하시고 거룩하신 자에게 대하여 정함이 없도다
