Breaking The Spin Cycle		속아 넘어가지 않기
[ John 8:42 - 8:47 ] - hymn 388 [Satan] was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.... He is a liar and the father of it. - John 8:44 Politicians are adept at "spinning" the details of a story to advance their own agenda. During a political campaign, spin doctors massage stories to ensure that their candidate is cast in a positive light-often at the expense of the truth. This leaves us with serious questions about what the real truth is. According to Jesus, Satan is the "spin doctor" of hell-the master deceiver who "speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar"(John 8:44). He casts himself as the one who wants to give us unfettered freedom and pleasure, carefully masking his plan to steal, kill, and destroy us(John 10:10). He even spins the loving laws of God by claiming that God's boundaries are restrictive, simply intended to take all the fun out of living. When we buy into Satan's damaging lies, we will eventually find ourselves empty and broken-sidelined in our journey with God. Thankfully, Jesus warns us. He says that Satan is the father of lies. And we know Satan is lying when what he tells us contradicts God's Word. Jesus, on the other hand, is the truth(John 14:6). So, when it comes to sorting out the spin, our only defense against the spin doctor of hell is to listen constantly for the voice of Jesus as we pray and study His Word. And that's the truth! - Joe Stowell		[ 요한복음 8:42 - 8:47 ] - 찬송가 388 장 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고...이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라 - 요한복음 8:44 정치가들은 자신들의 정책의제를 진행시키기 위해 일부 관련내용을 "왜곡하는" 것으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 선거기간에는 선거운동원들이 자신들의 후보가 유리하도록 때로는 진실을 왜곡시키면서까지 이야기를 가다듬곤 합니다. 그래서 우리는 진정한 진실이 무엇인지 의문을 가지게 됩니다. 예수님에 의하면 사탄은 지옥의 "왜곡전문가"입니다. "거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말장이"(요8:44)이기 때문입니다. 그는 자신이 우리에게 얽매이지 않는 자유와 기쁨을 주는 존재라고 말하면서, 도적질하고 죽이고 멸망시키고자 하는 자신의 계획을 교묘히 감춥니다(요10:10). 그는 또 하나님이 정해놓으신 경계에는 제한이 많고 단순히 우리 삶에서 모든 즐거움을 빼앗아가려는 의도가 있다고 말하면서 하나님의 사랑의 법칙마저 왜곡합니다. 우리가 사탄의 파괴적인 거짓말을 믿게 되면 결국에는 공허해지고 망가져서 결국 하나님과의 동행 길에서 곁길로 빠져버리게 됩니다. 감사하게도 예수님께서는 경고의 말씀을 주십니다. 주님은 우리에게 사탄이 거짓의 아버지라고 말씀하십니다. 우리는 사탄의 말이 하나님의 말씀에 상반되어 그가 거짓말을 하고 있다는 것을 압니다. 반면에 예수님은 진리이십니다(요14:6). 따라서 거짓을 가려내야 할 때, 지옥의 왜곡전문가에 대한 유일한 방어책은 우리가 기도를 하거나 말씀을 공부할 때 예수님의 음성을 계속 듣는 것뿐입니다. 그 음성이 진리입니다!

The devil is crafty, deceptive, and sly;
He cleverly tricks us to swallow his lie.
But his cunning methods we're sure to discern

God's truth stops the spin of Satan's lies.

John 8:42-47

[42] Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
[43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
[44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
[45] And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
[46] Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
[47] He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

악마는 간교하고 속이며 교활하다네
그는 그의 거짓말을 받아들이도록 속임수를 쓰지만
우리는 그의 교활한 수단을 알아낼 수 있다네
우리가 하나님의 경고에 매일 귀 기울인다면

하나님의 진실이 사탄의 거짓 왜곡을 막을 수 있다.

요한복음 8:42-47

[42] 예수께서 가라사대 하나님이 너희 아버지였으면 너희가 나를 사랑하였으리니 이는 내가 하나님께로 나서 왔음이라 나는 스스로 온 것이 아니요 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것이니라
[43] 어찌하여 내 말을 깨닫지 못하느냐 이는 내 말을 들을 줄 알지 못함이로다
[44] 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말 하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라
[45] 내가 진리를 말하므로 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하는도다
[46] 너희 중에 누가 나를 죄로 책잡겠느냐 내가 진리를 말하매 어찌하여 나를 믿지 아니하느냐
[47] 하나님께 속한 자는 하나님의 말씀을 듣나니 너희가 듣지 아니함은 하나님께 속하지 아니하였음이로다
