A Special Seat		특별석
[ Luke 10:38 - 10:42 ] - hymn 212 [Martha] had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. - Luke 10:39 I've never sat in the first-class section of an airplane. But I still hold out the hope that someday I'll get on the plane and the flight attendant will stop me and say, "Come with me. I have a special seat for you." That's why I was pretty excited when a friend gave my sister some tickets for an event and we realized that they were for box seats. Instead of sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers all around us, we sat in a private compartment where we could see and hear everything perfectly. That evening, we felt privileged and special. Remember Jesus' friends, Mary and Martha? Although Martha had the opportunity to enjoy having Jesus as her guest, she soon became frustrated with her sister Mary and overwhelmed with the busyness of her preparations. Certainly understandable to a lot of us! Jesus made it clear to her, however, that sometimes it's necessary to step away from the unending pressures of life and spend undistracted time with Him. God has given us the opportunity to have personal moments with Him. By taking the time just to be with the Lord, we are fed, refreshed, and renewed. Jesus commended Mary for taking time to sit and learn at her Savior's feet(Luke10:42). As it turned out-she had the best seat in the house! - Cindy Hess Kasper		[ 누가복음 10:38 - 10:42 ] - 찬송가 212 장 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발 아래 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니 - 누가복음 10:39 나는 비행기의 일등석에 앉아본 적이 없습니다. 그렇지만 언젠가는 내가 비행기를 탈 때 승무원이 나를 멈춰 세우고 "이쪽으로 오시죠. 손님을 위해 특별석이 마련되어 있습니다."라고 말해줄지 모른다는 희망을 가지고 있습니다. 그래서 나는 내 누이에게 한 친구가 어떤 이벤트 티켓을 주었을 때, 그 티켓이 박스석이라는 것을 알고는 몹시 흥분되었습니다. 사방에 모르는 사람들과 비좁게 앉는 대신 모든 것을 잘 보고 들을 수 있는 우리끼리 만의 공간에 앉게 된 것입니다. 그날 저녁 우리는 남달리 특별대우를 받는다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 예수님의 친구 마리아와 마르다를 기억하십니까? 예수님을 대접하는 기쁨을 누릴 기회를 얻었음에도 불구하고, 그녀는 동생 마리아에게 짜증내며 접대준비에 바빠서 어쩔 줄 몰라 했습니다. 많은 사람들에게 충분히 이해가 가는 일입니다. 그렇지만 예수님은 마르다에게 때로는 끝이 없는 삶의 압박 속에서 한 발치 떨어져 나와 주님과의 시간을 보내는 것이 필요하다고 분명히 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님은 우리에게 주님을 개인적으로 만날 수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다. 주님과 함께 하는 시간을 가짐으로써 우리는 채워지고 새로워지며 새것이 되는 것입니다. 예수님은 시간을 내어 구주의 발치에 앉아 배우는 마리아를 칭찬하셨습니다(눅10:42). 그리고 아시다시피 그녀는 그 집에서 최고의 자리에 앉았던 것입니다!

Take time to be holy,
The world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret
With Jesus alone. - Longstaff

Jesus longs for our fellowship even more than we long for His.

Luke 10:38-42

[38] Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
[39] And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
[40] But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
[41] And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
[42] But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

거룩해질 수 있는 시간을 가져라
세상이 바삐 돌아간다 해도
오직 예수님과만 함께
남모르게 많은 시간을 보내라

예수님은 우리가 주님과 친교하기를 원하는 것보다 더 많이 우리와 친교하기를 원하신다.

누가복음 10:38-42

[38] 저희가 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 촌에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는 한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라
[39] 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발 아래 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니
[40] 마르다는 준비하는 일이 많아 마음이 분주한지라 예수께 나아가 가로되 주여 내 동생이 나 혼자 일하게 두는 것을 생각지 아니하시나이까 저를 명하사 나를 도와주라 하소서
[41] 주께서 대답하여 가라사대 마르다야 마르다야 네가 많은 일로 염려하고 근심하나
[42] 그러나 몇 가지만 하든지 혹 한가지만이라도 족하니라 마리아는 이 좋은 편을 택하였으니 빼앗기지 아니하리라 하시니라
