[ Ephesians 3:14 - 3:21 ] - hymn 408 That you may be filled with all the fullness of God. - Ephesians 3:19 In the western panhandle of Texas is a small town named Texline. It had an ostentatious beginning in the late 1800s as a thriving center along a new railroad line. Within a few years, though, most of the shops had closed and the town's population shriveled to about 400. In 2000, the population was still just over 500. One online description of Texline says that it has "a city limits sign at one end, another at the other end, and not much in between." What a waste if the same description could be given of our spiritual journey! The journey of the Christian life on earth begins at the moment of faith in Jesus and ends when the believer goes to be with the Lord. This raises an important question: What happens in between? A rich and full life is available to all who believe in and serve Jesus. The apostle Paul prayed that believers would "be filled with all the fullness of God"(Eph.3:19). He wanted them to know life "abundantly"(John 10:10). But how many of us experience even a small part of the abundant life Christ promised to those who are faithful to Him? God desires to give us a marvelous beginning with salvation and a great ending in Glory-with much in between. - David C. Egner		[ 에베소서 3:14 - 3:21 ] - 찬송가 408 장 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희에게 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라 - 에베소서 3:19 텍사스 서부의 좁고 길게 뻗어 있는 지역에 텍스라인이라고 하는 작은 마을이 있습니다. 1800년대 후반에 새로운 철도노선이 생기면서 번창하는 중심지로 화려한 출발을 했던 곳이었지만, 몇 년 안에 대부분의 상점은 문을 닫았고 마을의 인구도 약 400명으로 줄었습니다. 2000년에도 여전히 전체 인구는 500명 남짓하였습니다. 텍스라인의 한 온라인 설명에는 "한 쪽 끝에 시 경계표지가 있고 다른 쪽 끝에도 시 경계표지가 있다. 그리고 그 사이에는 별것이 없다."라고 되어 있습니다. 우리의 영적 여정이 이와 같이 설명된다면 얼마나 무의미하겠습니까! 이 땅에서의 그리스도인의 삶의 여정은 예수님을 믿음으로 시작하여 주님과 함께 있기 위해 떠날 때 끝이 납니다. 여기서 중요한 질문이 제기됩니다. 그 사이에 무슨 일이 일어납니까? 예수님을 믿고 섬기는 모든 사람들에게는 부요하고 충만한 삶이 주어집니다. 바울사도는 믿는 자에게 "하나님의 모든 충만한 것으로 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라"(엡3:19)라고 기도하였습니다. 그는 그들이 "풍성한" 삶을 알기를 원했습니다(요10:10). 그러나 우리 중 얼마나 많은 사람이 주님을 믿는 모든 이에게 약속하신 풍성한 삶의 아주 작은 부분이라도 실제로 경험하고 있을까요? 하나님은 우리에게 구원으로 놀랍게 시작하여, 영광으로 위대하게 마무리 짓는 삶을 주고 싶어 하십니다. 그리고 그 사이에는 풍성한 삶을 주고 싶어 하십니다.

Lord, thank You for all that You have done for me. I commit myself to making the most of my spiritual journey. I want to experience as much as I can of You and all
You have to offer to me. Amen.

A life given fully to God becomes a God-filled life.

Ephesians 3:14-21

[14] For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
[15] from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
[16] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
[17] that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
[18] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height--
[19] to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
[20] Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
[21] to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

주여! 나를 위해 하신 모든 것에 감사드립니다
나의 영적 여정에서 전념하여 최선을 다하겠습니다
주님과 주님이 주시는 모든 것을
최대한으로 체험하고 싶습니다, 아멘.

하나님께 전폭적으로 드릴 때

[15] 이름을 주신 아버지 앞에 무릎을 꿇고 비노니
[16] 그의 영광의 풍성함을 따라 그의 성령으로 말미암아 너희 속사람을 능력으로 강건하게 하시오며
[17] 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도께서 너희 마음에 계시게 하시옵고 너희가 사랑 가운데서 뿌리가 박히고 터가 굳어져서
[18] 능히 모든 성도와 함께 지식에 넘치는 그리스도의 사랑을 알고
[19] 그 너비와 길이와 높이와 깊이가 어떠함을 깨달아 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희에게 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라
[20] 우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게
[21] 교회 안에서와 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광이 대대로 영원무궁하기를 원하노라 아멘
