Cardboard Kids		마분지 어린이들
[ Proverbs 1:8 - 1:19 ] - hymn 411 My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. - Proverbs 1:10 When Mike Wood began to advertise his sign company, he didn't know how useful his work would become. Some of his signs were life-size cardboard pictures of kids, which he put close to the street. Besides advertising his business, the signs had another effect. Motorists thought the cutouts were real children and began to drop their speed. Now Mike sells the cardboard kids to parents who want to slow down speeding drivers in their area. Mike said, "We truly hope that some of our standups help to control speeding in neighborhoods around the country." Parents work at protecting their children from physical danger. But there are other dangers as well. Solomon, the writer of Proverbs 1, was concerned about the people who would pose spiritual danger to his son. He warned him about those who would entice him to do evil(vv.10-14) and told him, "Do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path; for their feet run to evil"(vv.15-16). We need to protect our children by teaching them God's Word and training them to avoid evil influences. Busy streets are hazardous for our children, but the enticement of taking an evil path is far more dangerous. - Anne Cetas		[ 잠언 1:8 - 1:19 ] - 찬송가 411 장 내 아들아 악한 자가 너를 꾈지라도 좇지 말라 - 잠언 1:10 마이크 우드가 그의 간판회사를 광고하기 시작했을 때 그 일이 얼마나 유용하게 될지 미처 몰랐습니다. 간판들 중에는 실물 크기의 어린이 사진을 마분지에 담고 그것을 오려내어 길가에 세워놓은 것도 있었습니다. 이 광고물은 회사에 대한 홍보효과 이외에 다른 효과를 발휘했습니다. 자동차 운전자들은 마분지 어린이가 실제 어린이들인 줄 알고 차 속도를 줄이기 시작했습니다. 지금 마이크는 동네에서 운전자들이 감속하기를 원하는 부모들에게 마분지 어린이를 팔고 있습니다. 마이크는 “우리가 세워놓은 입간판들이 이 나라의 모든 마을에서 과속을 없애는 데 도움이 될 수 있기를 정말 바랍니다.”라고 말했습니다. 부모들은 신체적인 위험으로부터 자녀들을 보호하려 합니다. 그러나 그것 말고도 다른 종류의 위험이 있습니다. 잠언 1장의 저자인 솔로몬은 그의 아들에게 영적으로 위험을 줄 수 있는 사람들을 경계하라고 했습니다. 그는 아들에게 악을 행하도록 부추기는 사람들(10-14절)에 대해 경고하면서, “그들과 함께 길에 다니지 말라 네 발을 금하여 그 길을 밟지 말라 대저 그 발은 악으로 달려가며 피를 흘리는데 빠름이니라”(15-16절)라고 말했습니다. 우리는 자녀들에게 하나님의 말씀을 가르쳐서 악의 영향으로부터 벗어나도록 훈련시켜 보호할 필요가 있습니다. 분주한 도로는 자녀들에게 위험합니다. 그러나 악의 길을 밟게 하는 유혹은 훨씬 더 위험합니다.

Proverbs 1:8-19

[8] My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
[9] For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
[10] My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
[11] If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
[12] Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
[13] We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
[14] Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
[15] My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
[16] For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
[17] Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
[18] And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
[19] So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

어린아이들은 기업이요
하나님이 주신 선물이라네
사랑으로 보호하고 돌보고 양육하라고
주님이 우리에게 부탁하시네

내일의 세계는 오늘 자녀에게 무엇을 가르치는가에 달려있다.

[9] 이는 네 머리의 아름다운 관이요 네 목의 금사슬이니라
[10] 내 아들아 악한 자가 너를 꾈지라도 좇지 말라
[11] 그들이 네게 말하기를 우리와 함께 가자 우리가 가만히 엎드렸다가 사람의 피를 흘리자 죄없는 자를 까닭없이 숨어 기다리다가
[12] 음부 같이 그들을 산 채로 삼키며 무덤에 내려가는 자 같게 통으로 삼키자
[13] 우리가 온갖 보화를 얻으며 빼앗은 것으로 우리 집에 채우리니
[14] 너는 우리와 함께 제비를 뽑고 우리가 함께 전대 하나만 두자 할지라도
[15] 내 아들아 그들과 함께 길에 다니지 말라 네 발을 금하여 그 길을 밟지 말라
[16] 대저 그 발은 악으로 달려가며 피를 흘리는 데 빠름이니라
[17] 무릇 새가 그물 치는 것을 보면 헛 일이겠거늘
[18] 그들의 가만히 엎드림은 자기의 피를 흘릴 뿐이요 숨어 기다림은 자기의 생명을 해할 뿐이니
[19] 무릇 이를 탐하는 자의 길은 다 이러하여 자기의 생명을 잃게 하느니라
