[ Matthew 5:43 - 5:48 ] - hymn 238 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable ... for instruction in righteousness. - 2 Timothy 3:16 Randall Peterson, a retired autoworker, thinks there could be an interest for a new kind of Bible. He sarcastically says that a publisher ought to create an electronic Bible that would allow for editing from the pew. That way individuals and churches could make the Bible say what they want it to say. He says it could be called the "LAME" Bible: "Locally Adaptive Multifaith Edition" and "could be sold to any church regardless of what it believes." He's making a point, of course, but we might be tempted by such a product. Jesus gives us some hard teachings! As believers, our desire is to be obedient to Him in our choices and attitudes, but at times we resist the Word of God and may wish we could soften His commands. Some of Jesus' hard teachings are found in the Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5, He says: "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you"(v.44). That's what He tells us to do, so we know we can't just delete it. We need to apply it to our personal situation with the Holy Spirit's enablement. God's Word is to be obeyed by His people. We're the ones who need to be "revised"-not the Scriptures. - Anne Cetas		[ 마태복음 5:43 - 5:48 ] - 찬송가 238 장 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로...의로 교육하기에 유익하니 - 디모데후서 3:16 은퇴한 자동차 공장 노동자인 랜달 피터슨은 사람들이 새로운 종류의 성경에 대해서 관심이 있을 것이라고 생각합니다. 그는 교회의 신도 좌석에서 직접 교정할 수 있는 전자성경을 출판사가 창안해야 한다고 냉소적으로 이야기합니다. 그렇게 하면 각 개인이나 교회가 자신들이 원하는 대로 성경이 말하도록 만들 수 있을 것입니다. 그는 이 성경을 "어디서든 채택될 수 있는 다원적 신앙판", 약어로 "LAME" 성경이라고 부르자며, 이 성경은 "교회가 무엇을 믿는지 상관없이 어떠한 교회에도 다 팔 수 있을 것이다."라고 했습니다. 물론 농담이지만 우리도 그와 같은 성경에 유혹받을 수 있습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 지키기 힘든 가르침을 주십니다. 그럴 때 우리는 신자로서 우리의 선택이나 태도에 있어서 주님께 순종하기를 갈구하지만, 때로는 하나님의 말씀에 거스르며 하나님의 명령을 완화시키고 싶어 합니다. 산상수훈에는 지키기 힘든 예수님의 가르침이 다소 있습니다. 마태복음 5장에서 예수님은 "너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 핍박하는 자를 위하여 기도하라"(44절)고 하십니다. 이것은 주님이 우리에게 하라고 말씀하신 것이기에 우리는 마음대로 이것을 삭제해 버릴 수 없다는 것을 압니다. 우리는 성령의 능력으로 이것을 우리 자신의 상황에 적용해야 합니다. 하나님의 백성들은 하나님의 말씀에 순종해야 합니다. ‘개정’되어야 하는 것은 우리들이지, 성경이 아닙니다.

The laws of God are true and right;
They stand as firm today
As when He put them in His Word
And told us to obey. - Fasick

To love God is to obey God.

Matthew 5:43-48

[43] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
[44] But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
[45] that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
[46] If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
[47] And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
[48] Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

하나님의 법은 옳고 진실하며
오늘날도 변함없이 굳게 서있네
하나님이 우리에게 말씀을 주시고
순종하라 명하신 그 때와 같이

하나님께 순종하는 것이 하나님을 사랑하는 것이다.

마태복음 5:43-48

[43] 또 네 이웃을 사랑하고 네 원수를 미워하라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나
[44] 나는 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 핍박하는 자를 위하여 기도하라
[45] 이같이 한즉 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 아들이 되리니 이는 하나님이 그 해를 악인과 선인에게 비추시며 비를 의로운 자와 불의한 자에게 내려주심이라
[46] 너희가 너희를 사랑하는 자를 사랑하면 무슨 상이 있으리요 세리도 이같이 아니하느냐
[47] 또 너희가 너희 형제에게만 문안하면 남보다 더하는 것이 무엇이냐 이방인들도 이같이 아니하느냐
[48] 그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라
