Bread For The Coming Day		이 하루를 위한 양식
[ Matthew 6:9 - 6:13 ] - hymn 447 Give us this day our daily bread. -Matthew 6:11 Not long ago, I traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo to lead a Bible conference. I took in the beauty of the Nyungwe Forest and Ruzizi River, which separates Congo from Rwanda. I experienced the amazing hospitality of the Congolese people, and I was moved by their sincere faith in Gods provision. Because unemployment, poverty, and malnutrition are serious problems there, the people often dont know where their next meal will come from. So each time they sit down to eat, they thank God and ask Him to provide the next meal. Their prayer sounds a lot like Jesus prayer in Matthew 6:11, "Give us this day our daily bread." The word bread refers to any food. The phrase "this day" indicates provision that came to them one day at a time. Many first-century workers were paid one day at a time, so a few days illness could spell tragedy. "Daily" could be translated "for the coming day." The prayer would "Give us today our bread for the coming day." It was an urgent prayer to those who lived from hand to mouth. This prayer calls Jesus followers everywhere to recognize that our ability to work and earn our food comes from Gods hand. -Marvin Williams		[ 마태복음 6:9 - 6:13 ] - 찬송가 447 장 오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고 -마태복음 6:11 나는 얼마 전 성경학회를 주관하러 콩고민주공화국으로 여행했습니다. 거기서 르완다와 콩고의 경계를 이루는 눙웨 숲과 러지지 강의 아름다움을 보았고, 콩고인들의 극진한 대접을 체험했으며, 하나님의 예비하심에 대한 그들의 진실한 믿음에 감동을 받았습니다. 실업과 가난과 영양실조의 심각한 문제를 안고 있는 그곳 사람들은 종종 다음 끼니가 어디서 올는지 모릅니다. 그래서 그들은 앉아서 먹을 때 마다 하나님께 감사하고 다음 끼니를 마련해 주실 것을 주님께 간구합니다. 그들의 기도는 마태복음 6장 11절에 있는 "오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고"라는 예수님의 기도와 아주 비슷합니다. 여기서 양식이란 말은 어떤 종류이든 먹을 것을 가리킵니다. "오늘날"이라는 구절은 그들에게 한 번에 하루치씩 공급되는 것을 뜻합니다. 초대교회 시대에 대부분의 노동자는 일당으로 임금을 받았습니다. 그래서 며칠 동안 병을 앓는다는 것은 비극을 초래할 수도 있었을 것입니다. "매일"은 "이 하루"로 해석될 수 있습니다. 그래서 그 기도는 "오늘 우리에게 이 하루 동안 먹을 양식을 주옵시고"라고 해도 좋을 것입니다. 그날 벌어 그날 살았던 사람들에게 있어서 그것은 매우 절박한 기도였습니다. 이 기도는 어느 곳에서나 예수님을 따르는 이들에게 우리가 일하고 양식을 얻는 것이 하나님의 손에서 오는 것임을 인정하도록 합니다.

Lord, thank You for our daily bread
And everything that You provide;
Increase our faith and help us see
That Your supply is deep and wide. -Sper

Our problems are never a strain on Gods provision.

Matthew 6:9-13

[9] "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
[10] your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[11] Give us today our daily bread.
[12] Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

주여, 일용할 양식과
당신이 주시는 모든 것에 감사합니다
우리의 믿음을 더하게 하시고
당신의 공급하심이 풍성함을 보게 도와주소서

하나님이 예비하시기에 우리가 걱정할 것은 아무것도 없다.

마태복음 6:9-13

[9] 그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며
[10] 나라이 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다
[11] 오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고
[12] 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 자를 사하여 준 것 같이 우리 죄를 사하여 주옵시고
[13] 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵시고 다만 악에서 구하옵소서 (나라와 권세와 영광이 아버지께 영원히 있사옵나이다 아멘)
