Fake Family		가짜 가족
[ Matthew 15:1 - 15:9 ] - hymn 518 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, ... but their heart is far from Me. - Matthew 15:8 A builder in California has come up with an innovative idea to sell his houses. He thinks that a good way to make a house more appealing is to have a family there when showing the house. So he hires actors to play happy families in his company's model homes. Would-be buyers can ask them questions about the house. Each fake family cooks, watches television, and plays games while house-hunters wander through. That type of faking may not do any harm, but think about the sham of the religious leaders in Jesus' day(Matt.15:1-9). They pretended to love God and piously made up a long list of rules that they and others were to obey. But this was only to make themselves look good. They even considered their rules just as important as the Law that came directly from the Lord(vv.5-6). Jesus called them "hypocrites"(v.7). He said their words sounded as if they honored God, but their hearts told another story-they were far from Him(v.8). That kind of pretending goes on in people today as well. We look like good Christians on the outside because we go to church faithfully, follow some rules legalistically, and use the right words. We say we love Jesus, but our hearts may be far from Him. God wants us to be real. - Anne Cetas		[ 마태복음 15:1 - 15:9 ] - 찬송가 518 장 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 존경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다 - 마태복음 15:8 캘리포니아의 한 건축업자는 자신이 지은 집을 팔 기발한 아이디어를 생각해냈습니다. 집에 더 흥미를 끌게 하려면 집을 보여줄 때 거기에 실제로 가족이 사는 것처럼 하면 좋겠다고 생각합니다. 그래서 그는 모델하우스에서 행복한 가족으로 연기할 배우들을 고용합니다. 잠재고객이 그 집에 대해 그들에게 물어볼 수 있게 합니다. 가짜 가족은 집을 사려는 사람들이 집을 보러 왔을 때 요리도 하고, 텔레비전도 보고, 게임도 합니다. 이와 같은 속임수는 아무런 해를 끼치지 않을 수도 있겠지만, 예수님 당시의 종교지도자들의 가식에 대해 한번 생각해보십시오(마15:1-9). 그들은 하나님을 사랑하는 것처럼 가장하며, 그들과 다른 사람들이 복종해야 하는 율법들을 위선적으로 많이 만들어 냈습니다. 하지만 이것은 단지 자신들을 선하게 보이게 하기 위함이었습니다. 그들은 심지어 그 율법들이 하나님께서 직접 내려주신 계명만큼 중요하다고까지 여겼습니다(5-6절). 예수님은 그들을 "외식하는 자들"(7절)이라 불렀습니다. 예수님은 그들이 하나님을 공경하는 것처럼 입으로는 말하지만, 그들의 마음은 전혀 그렇지 않고 하나님으로부터 아주 멀다고 말씀하셨습니다(8절). 이런 종류의 가식은 요즘 사람들에게도 있습니다. 우리는 교회에 열심히 다니고, 법을 존중하는 마음으로 규칙들을 지키며, 바른 말을 사용함으로써 겉으로는 좋은 그리스도인들처럼 보입니다. 우리는 예수님을 사랑한다고 말하지만 우리의 마음은 주님으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있는지도 모릅니다. 하나님은 우리가 진실되기를 원하십니다.

God sees our ways and knows our hearts,
From Him we cannot hide;
External righteousness can't save,

A false front belies a true faith.

Matthew 15:1-9

[1] Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked,
[2] "Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don't wash their hands before they eat!"
[3] Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?
[4] For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'
[5] But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,'
[6] he is not to 'honor his father' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
[7] You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
[8] "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
[9] They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'"

하나님은 우리의 행실을 보시고 마음을 아시네
우리는 하나님께 숨길 수가 없네
안에 무엇이 있는지 아시는 하나님이시기에
겉으로 보이는 의로는 구원받을 수 없네

가식의 겉모습과 참된 믿음은 다르다.

마태복음 15:1-9

[1] 그 때에 바리새인과 서기관들이 예루살렘으로부터 예수께 나아와 가로되
[2] 당신의 제자들이 어찌하여 장로들의 유전을 범하나이까 떡 먹을 때에 손을 씻지 아니하나이다
[3] 대답하여 가라사대 너희는 어찌하여 너희 유전으로 하나님의 계명을 범하느뇨
[4] 하나님이 이르셨으되 네 부모를 공경하라 하시고 또 아비나 어미를 훼방하는 자는 반드시 죽으리라 하셨거늘
[5] 너희는 가로되 누구든지 아비에게나 어미에게 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할 것이 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면
[6] 그 부모를 공경할 것이 없다 하여 너희 유전으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하는도다
[7] 외식하는 자들아 이사야가 너희에게 대하여 잘 예언하였도다 일렀으되
[8] 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 존경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다
[9] 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라 하시고
