Arriving Late		늦은 도착
[ Mark 20:1 - 20:16 ] - hymn 317 The last will be first, and the first last. - Matthew 20:16 Eddie, an outspoken atheist, spent his entire life of 50 years denying the existence of God. Then he contracted a debilitating disease, and his health slowly deteriorated. As he lay in a hospice house awaiting death, Eddie was visited almost every day by some Christian friends he had known in high school. They told him again of Christ's love. But the closer Eddie came to dying, the more it appeared he was not interested in God. One Sunday, a pastor stopped by to visit. To everyone's surprise, Eddie prayed with him and asked Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. A few weeks later, he died. Eddie denied Christ for 50 years and spent just 2 weeks loving and trusting Him. But because of his faith, he will experience forever God's presence, glory, love, majesty, and perfection. Some may argue that this isn't fair. But according to Jesus' parable in Matthew 20, it's not about fairness. It's about God's goodness and grace(vv.11-15). Have you waited such a long time to trust Jesus for salvation that you think it might be too late? Consider the thief on the cross, who put his faith in Jesus just before he died(Luke 23:39-43). Trust Jesus now, and receive His gift of eternal life. It's not too late! - Dave Branon		[ 마가복음 20:1 - 20:16 ] - 찬송가 317 장 나중 된 자로서 먼저 되고 먼저 된 자로서 나중 되리라 - 마태복음 20:16 무신론자라고 떠들고 다니던 에디는 그의 50년 일생 전부를 하나님의 존재를 부정하는 데에 사용했습니다. 그리고는 몸이 쇠약해지는 병에 걸려 그의 건강이 천천히 악화되었습니다. 그가 말기환자들을 수용하는 요양원에서 죽음을 기다리고 있을 때, 예수님을 믿는 에디의 고등학교 때 친구들이 거의 매일 그를 찾아왔습니다. 그들은 그리스도의 사랑에 대해서 다시 이야기해주었습니다. 그러나 죽음에 더 가까워질수록, 에디는 하나님께 관심이 더 없는 것처럼 보였습니다. 그러던 어느 주일에 목사님 한 분이 방문했습니다. 놀랍게도 에디는 목사님과 함께 기도하고 죄를 용서해주실 것과 구원해 주실 것을 예수님께 부탁하였습니다. 그리고 몇 주일 후에 그는 죽었습니다. 에디는 50년간 그리스도를 부인하고 단지 2주일 동안만 주님을 사랑하고 믿었습니다. 그러나 그의 믿음 때문에, 그는 영원토록 하나님의 임재와 영광, 사랑, 장엄하심과 완전하심을 경험할 것입니다. 이것이 공평치 않다고 하는 사람도 있을 것입니다. 그러나 마태복음 20장에 나오는 예수님의 비유에 의하면, 이것은 공평성에 관한 것이 아닙니다. 이것은 하나님의 선하심과 은혜에 관한 것입니다(11-15절). 너무 오랜 시간을 지나 보냈기 때문에 이제는 예수님을 믿어 구원 받기에는 너무 늦었을지 모르겠다고 생각하고 있지는 않습니까? 죽기 바로 직전에 예수님을 믿은 십자가 위의 강도를 생각해 보십시오(눅23:39-43). 지금 당장 예수님을 믿고, 주님이 주시는 선물인 영원한 생명을 받으십시오. 너무 늦지는 않았습니다!

If God is calling you today,
Then trust in Christ without delay;
Tomorrow it will be too late
If death occurs and seals your fate. - Sper

It is a dangerous presumption
to say, "Tomorrow,"
when God says, "Today!"

Matthew 20:1-16

[1] "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard.
[2] He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
[3] "About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.
[4] He told them, 'You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.'
[5] So they went. "He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing.
[6] About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, 'Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?'
[7] "'Because no one has hired us,' they answered. "He said to them, 'You also go and work in my vineyard.'
[8] "When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, 'Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.'
[9] "The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius.
[10] So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius.
[11] When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner.
[12] 'These men who were hired last worked only one hour,' they said, 'and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.'
[13] "But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius?
[14] Take your pay and go. I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you.
[15] Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?'
[16] "So the last will be first, and the first will be last."

오늘 하나님이 당신을 부르시면
지체하지 말고 그리스도를 신뢰하라
만일 죽음이 찾아와 네 운명을 결정해 버리면
내일이면 너무 늦으리

하나님이 "오늘!"하실 때
"내일"이라고 말하는 것은
위험하고 건방진 태도이다.

마태복음 20:1-16

[1] 천국은 마치 품꾼을 얻어 포도원에 들여 보내려고 이른 아침에 나간 집 주인과 같으니
[2] 저가 하루 한 데나리온씩 품꾼들과 약속하여 포도원에 들여 보내고
[3] 또 제삼시에 나가 보니 장터에 놀고 섰는 사람들이 또 있는지라
[4] 저희에게 이르되 너희도 포도원에 들어가라 내가 너희에게 상당하게 주리라 하니 저희가 가고
[5] 제 육 시와 제 구 시에 또 나가 그와 같이 하고
[6] 제 십일 시에도 나가 보니 섰는 사람들이 또 있는지라
[7] 가로되 너희는 어찌하여 종일토록 놀고 여기 섰느뇨 가로되 우리를 품꾼으로 쓰는 이가 없음이니이다 가로되 너희도 포도원에 들어가라 하니라
[8] 저물매 포도원 주인이 청지기에게 이르되 품꾼들을 불러 나중 온 자로부터 시작하여 먼저 온 자까지 삯을 주라 하니
[9] 제 십일 시에 온 자들이 와서 한 데나리온씩을 받거늘
[10] 먼저 온 자들이 와서 더 받을 줄 알았더니 저희도 한 데나리온씩 받은지라
[11] 받은 후 집 주인을 원망하여 가로되
[12] 나중 온 이 사람들은 한 시간만 일하였거늘 저희를 종일 수고와 더위를 견딘 우리와 같게 하였나이다
[13] 주인이 그 중의 한 사람에게 대답하여 가로되 친구여 내가 네게 잘못한 것이 없노라 네가 나와 한 데나리온의 약속을 하지 아니하였느냐
[14] 네 것이나 가지고 가라 나중 온 이 사람에게 너와 같이 주는 것이 내 뜻이니라
[15] 내 것을 가지고 내 뜻대로 할 것이 아니냐 내가 선하므로 네가 악하게 보느냐
[16] 이와 같이 나중 된 자로서 먼저 되고 먼저 된 자로서 나중 되리라
