A Fortified House		요새화 된 집
[ Matthew 7:15 - 7:27 ] - hymn 379 The floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall. - Matthew 7:25 According to an article in The Wall Street Journal, some people in the US are building houses stronger than ever before. Hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes have caused billions of dollars in property damage in states across the nation. So, at the urging of businesses, government, and hard-pressed insurance companies, some builders are constructing fortress-like homes with windows that can withstand 130 mile-per-hour winds, roof nails so strong they can only be cut off, and framing material that can weather the tremendous forces faced by a supersonic jet. In Bolingbrook, Illinois, a community damaged by a tornado in the 1990s, a company is constructing such a "fortified" house in hopes that the idea will catch on. We who know the Lord Jesus realize that when it comes to building our spiritual foundation, it must be strong and secure. In today's Scripture, Christ made it clear what that foundation must be when He referred to "these sayings of Mine"(Matt.7:24), which included His teaching in the Sermon on the Mount(Matt.5:7). When we receive by faith Christ's words and His work on our behalf, our spiritual lives are "founded on the Rock," Christ Jesus. - David C. Egner		[ 마태복음 7:15 - 7:27 ] - 찬송가 379 장 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪히되 무너지지 아니하나니 - 마태복음 7:25 월 스트리트 저널에 실린 기사에 따르면, 어떤 미국 사람들은 예전보다 훨씬 더 튼튼한 집을 짓고 있다고 합니다. 태풍, 홍수, 그리고 회오리바람들은 미국 전역에 걸쳐 수십억 달러의 재산피해를 입혀 왔습니다. 따라서 기업체들, 정부기관, 그리고 곤경에 처한 보험회사들의 촉구에 의하여, 몇몇 건축업자들은 시속 210 킬로미터의 바람을 견뎌낼 수 있는 창문, 제거하려면 잘라내어야만 할 정도로 튼튼한 지붕 못, 그리고 초음속 항공기가 받는 엄청난 힘을 이겨낼 수 있는 골조 자재들을 사용해 요새와 같은 집들을 짓고 있습니다. 1990년대에 회오리바람 피해를 입었던 일리노이주 보링부룩의 어느 건설회사가 이런 아이디어가 각광을 받으리라는 기대 속에 이 같은 "요새화된" 집을 짓고 있습니다. 주 예수님을 알고 있는 우리는 우리의 영적인 토대를 건설할 때에 그것이 강하고 안전해야만 한다는 것을 인식하고 있습니다. 오늘의 성구에서, 그리스도는 그 기초가 어떠해야 하는지를, 산상수훈에 나오는 주님의 가르침(마5-7장)을 포함하고 있는 "나의 이 말"(마7:24)을 통해 명백히 하였습니다. 우리를 위한 그리스도의 말씀과 주님의 행하심을 믿음으로 받아들인다면, 우리의 영적인 삶은 "주초를 반석 위에 놓은" 것과 같을 것입니다.

To survive the storms of life, be anchored to the Rock of Ages.

Matthew 7:15-27

[15] "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
[16] By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
[17] Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
[18] A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
[19] Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
[20] Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
[21] "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
[23] Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
[24] "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
[25] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
[26] But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
[27] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

나는 흐르는 모래위에 서 있지 않네
맹렬한 폭풍도 두려워하지 않네
영원한 반석 예수 그리스도 위에
평온하고 튼튼하게, 안전하게 서 있네

인생의 폭풍을 견뎌내기 위해서는
영원한 반석에 닻을 내려야한다.

마태복음 7:15-27

[15] 거짓 선지자들을 삼가라 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속에는 노략질하는 이리라
[16] 그의 열매로 그들을 알찌니 가시나무에서 포도를 또는 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 따겠느냐
[17] 이와 같이 좋은 나무마다 아름다운 열매를 맺고 못된 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺나니
[18] 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고 못된 나무가 아름다운 열매를 맺을 수 없느니라
[19] 아름다운 열매를 맺지 아니하는 나무마다 찍혀 불에 던지우느니라
[20] 이러므로 그의 열매로 그들을 알리라
[21] 나더러 주여 주여 하는 자마다 천국에 다 들어갈 것이 아니요 다만 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻대로 행하는 자라야 들어가리라
[22] 그 날에 많은 사람이 나더러 이르되 주여 주여 우리가 주의 이름으로 선지자 노릇하며 주의 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아 내며 주의 이름으로 많은 권능을 행치 아니하였나이까 하리니
[23] 그 때에 내가 저희에게 밝히 말하되 내가 너희를 도무지 알지 못하니 불법을 행하는 자들아 내게서 떠나가라 하리라
[24] 그러므로 누구든지 나의 이 말을 듣고 행하는 자는 그 집을 반석 위에 지은 지혜로운 사람 같으리니
[25] 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪히되 무너지지 아니하나니 이는 주초를 반석 위에 놓은 연고요
[26] 나의 이 말을 듣고 행치 아니하는 자는 그 집을 모래 위에 지은 어리석은 사람 같으리니
[27] 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪히매 무너져 그 무너짐이 심하니라
