Housekeeping Of The Heart		마음 청소
[ Matthew 23:23 - 23:31 ] - hymn 518 You also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy. - Matthew 23:28 As a young homemaker, I enjoyed cleaning our house from top to bottom. The trouble was, it never stayed clean for long. Eventually I discovered that if I kept our house reasonably tidy, it appeared to be clean even when it wasn't. Gradually I concentrated more on the appearance of a clean house and neglected thorough cleaning. This compromise was not only convenient, it was convincing. Sometimes even I was fooled. But on sunny days my clean-looking house was revealed for what it was-dusty and dirty. In Jesus' day, the scribes and Pharisees were hypocrites who concentrated on the appearance of holiness while neglecting their heart-holiness(Matt.23:25). When the light of Jesus shined on them, He revealed the truth about their outwardly religious life. He didn't say these external acts were necessarily wrong, but they were wrongfully used as a coverup for wickedness. For them, inner housecleaning was long overdue. Keeping up appearances in our housework isn't wrong, but pretending our hearts are clean is. Only those who are clean on the inside will welcome Jesus with confidence when He returns. Now is the time to take care of it! - Joanie Yoder		[ 마태복음 23:23 - 23:31 ] - 찬송가 518 장 저희도 겉으로는 사람에게 옳게 보이되 안으로는 외식과 불법이 가득하도다－마태복음 23:28 젊은 주부 시절 나는 즐거운 마음으로 집안을 구석구석 청소했습니다. 그러나 문제는 깨끗한 것이 결코 오래가지 못한다는 것이었습니다. 결국에 나는 집안을 어느 정도 정돈만 해놓으면 청소를 하지 않아도 깨끗하게 보인다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 점차 나는 깨끗한 집처럼 보이는 겉모양에 더 치중하게 되었고, 깨끗하게 청소하는 것을 게을리 하였습니다. 이 같은 타협은 편리했을 뿐 아니라 설득력도 있었습니다. 어떤 때는 나도 속아 넘어갔기 때문입니다. 그러나 햇살이 비치는 어느 화창한 날, 깨끗한 것처럼 보였던 집안은 더럽고 먼지투성이인 본색을 드러내 보였습니다. 예수님 당시의 서기관들과 바리새인들은 속마음을 거룩하게 하지 않고 겉모습만 거룩하게 보이는 데 치중한 위선자들이었습니다(마23:25). 주님의 광채가 그들을 비추었을 때, 주님은 그들의 외형적인 종교 생활의 참 모습을 드러내셨습니다. 주님은 이와 같은 외형적인 행위들이 결코 잘못되었다고 지적하신 것이 아니라, 그들이 자신의 악함을 감추기 위해 외형적인 행위들을 악용했다는 것을 지적하신 것입니다. 그들은 집안 내부 청소를 이미 오래 전에 했었어야 했습니다. 집안 겉모습을 그럴듯하게 유지하는 것은 잘못이 아닙니다. 그러나 우리의 마음이 깨끗한 것처럼 가장하는 것은 잘못입니다. 오직 자기의 마음속이 깨끗한 사람만이 주님이 다시 오실 때 확신을 가지고 주님을 맞이하게 될 것입니다. 당신의 마음은 준비되어 있습니까, 아니면 마음을 청소해야 합니까? 지금이 바로 해결해야 할 그 시간입니다.

After we have put our faith in Jesus Christ(John 3:16),
how do we keep our heart clean?(1 John 1:9).

At the heart of holiness is holiness of the heart.

Matthew 23:23-31

[23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
[24] Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
[25] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
[26] Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
[27] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
[28] Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
[29] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
[30] And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
[31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

생각해 봅시다
깨끗한 마음을 갖는 유일한 길이 무엇입니까?(디도서3:3-6)
우리가 예수 그리스도를 믿은 후(요한복음3:16),
어떻게 우리 마음을 깨끗하게 유지할 수 있습니까?(요한1서1:9)

거룩함의 핵심은 마음의 거룩함에 있다.

마태복음 23:23-31

[23] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 너희가 박하와 회향과 근채의 십일조를 드리되 율법의 더 중한 바 의와 인과 신은 버렸도다 그러나 이것도 행하고 저것도 버리지 말아야 할지니라
[24] 소경된 인도자여 하루살이는 걸러내고 약대는 삼키는도다
[25] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하되 그 안에는 탐욕과 방탕으로 가득하게 하는도다
[26] 소경된 바리새인아 너는 먼저 안을 깨끗이 하라 그리하면 겉도 깨끗하리라
[27] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 회칠한 무덤 같으니 겉으로는 아름답게 보이나 그 안에는 죽은 사람의 뼈와 모든 더러운 것이 가득하도다
[28] 이와 같이 너희도 겉으로는 사람에게 옳게 보이되 안으로는 외식과 불법이 가득하도다
[29] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 너희는 선지자들의 무덤을 쌓고 의인들의 비석을 꾸미며 가로되
[30] 만일 우리가 조상 때에 있었더면 우리는 저희가 선지자의 피를 흘리는데 참예하지 아니하였으리라 하니
[31] 그러면 너희가 선지자를 죽인 자의 자손됨을 스스로 증거함이로다
