Is He Listening?		주님은 들으시는가?
[ Matthew 26:39 - 26:42 ] - hymn 480 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? - Matthew 27:46 Sometimes it feels as if God isn't listening to me." Those words, from a woman who tried to stay strong in her walk with God while coping with an alcoholic husband, echo the heart cry of many believers. For 18 years, she asked God to change her husband. Yet it never happened. What are we to think when we repeatedly ask God for something good-something that could easily glorify Him-but the answer doesn't come? Is He listening or not? Let's look at the life of the Savior. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He agonized for hours in prayer, pouring out His heart and pleading, "Let this cup pass from Me" (Matthew 26:39). But the Father's answer was clearly "No." To provide salvation, God had to send Jesus to die on the cross. Even though Jesus felt as if His Father had forsaken Him, He prayed intensely and passionately because He trusted that God was listening. When we pray, we may not see how God is working or understand how He will bring good through it all. So we have to trust Him. We relinquish our rights and let God do what is best. We must leave the unknowable to the all-knowing One. He is listening and working things out His way. - Dave Branon		[ 마태복음 26:39 - 26:42 ] - 찬송가 480 장 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까－마태복음 27:46 "때로는 하나님께서 저에게 귀를 기울이시지 않는 것 같이 느껴집니다." 남편의 알콜 중독 문제에 대처하면서 하나님과 동행하는 삶 속에서 영적 강건함을 유지하려고 노력해온 한 여인의 이 말은 많은 믿음의 사람들의 가슴 아픈 절규를 반영합니다. 그녀는 18년 동안 남편을 고쳐주시기를 하나님께 애원하였지만 아무런 변화도 일어나지 않았습니다. 우리가 반복적으로 하나님께 좋은 것, 즉 쉽게 하나님께 영광 돌릴 수 있는 것을 달라고 애원하지만, 주님의 음성이 들리지 않을 때 우리는 무엇을 생각하게 됩니까? 하나님께서는 과연 듣고 계시는 것일까요? 이제 우리 구주의 삶을 살펴봅시다. 겟세마네 동산에서 주님은 "이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서"(마26:39)라고 마음을 쏟으며 간구하시면서 오랜 시간을 기도하시며 괴로워하였지만 하나님 아버지의 답변은 명백히 "안 된다"였습니다. 우리를 구원하시기 위하여 하나님께서는 예수님을 보내시어 십자가에서 죽게 하셔야 했습니다. 예수님은 비록 하나님 아버지께서 자신을 버리신 것처럼 느꼈지만, 하나님께서 듣고 계시는 것을 믿었기 때문에 간절히 그리고 열심히 기도하셨습니다. 우리가 기도할 때도 우리는 하나님께서 어떻게 역사하시는지 알 수 없고, 또 하나님께서 어떻게 모든 일을 통해 선을 이루실지 이해하지 못합니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리는 하나님을 신뢰하여야만 합니다. 우리는 우리의 권리를 포기하고 하나님께서 가장 좋은 것을 이루시도록 해드려야 합니다. 우리가 모르는 것은 전지하신 하나님께 맡겨야 합니다. 하나님께서 듣고 계시며 그분의 방식대로 섭리하십니다.

When we bend our knees to pray, God bends His ear to listen.

Matthew 26:39-42; 27:45-46

[26:39] Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
[40] Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter.
[41] "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
[42] He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."

[27:45] From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
[46] About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

기도 응답이 없는 이유를 알려는 것은
우리의 영역이 아니라네
우리가 진 십자가를 들어주실
하나님의 때를 기다려야 한다네

우리가 무릎을 꿇고 기도할 때 하나님께서는 귀를 기울여 들으신다.

[26:39] 조금 나아가사 얼굴을 땅에 대시고 엎드려 기도하여 가라사대 내 아버지여 만일 할만하시거든 이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서 그러나 나의 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서 하시고
[40] 제자들에게 오사 그 자는 것을 보시고 베드로에게 말씀하시되 너희가 나와 함께 한 시 동안도 이렇게 깨어 있을 수 없더냐
[41] 시험에 들지 않게 깨어 있어 기도하라 마음에는 원이로되 육신이 약하도다 하시고
[42] 다시 두 번째 나아가 기도하여 가라사대 내 아버지여 만일 내가 마시지 않고는 이 잔이 내게서 지나갈 수 없거든 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시고

[27:45] 제 육 시로부터 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제 구 시까지 계속하더니
[46] 제 구 시 즈음에 예수께서 크게 소리질러 가라사대 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이는 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라
