Unchained By The Cross		십자가로 인한 해방
[ Matthew 27:33 - 27:50 ] - hymn 182 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8 In ancient Greek mythology, the hero Prometheus was captured and chained to a mountain peak, where he was sentenced to stay forever. Each day, a giant eagle arrived to feast on his liver. Hermes came to him and said, "Do not hope for an end to your suffering until a god appears as your substitute in torment, ready to descend for you into the realm of Hades." According to the myth, this was done by the wise and just god Chiron, who sacrificed himself for Prometheus and delivered him from torment. This story is in some ways a picture of what happened for us the day Jesus died on the cross. Mankind was bound by sin, and there was no hope of escape unless God took our place. And that's exactly what happened. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on our behalf and paid the penalty for our sin. He provided a way of releasing us from eternal punishment. Were we to write for a thousand days, we still could not express the meaning of Christ's sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Its full significance is beyond our comprehension. Have you confessed your sin and asked Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior- If not, there's no better time than today. Trust in Him, and you will know what it means to be unchained by the cross. - David C. "너를 대신하여 고통을 당하며 저승의 신 하데스의 왕국 지옥으로 내려가 줄 신이 나타나기 전까지는, 너에게 고통의 종말이 오기를 기대하지 말라." 신화에 의하면 지혜와 정의의 신인 케이론이 프로메티우스를 대신하여 자신을 희생하고 그를 고통에서 해방시켜 주었다고 합니다. 이 이야기는 어떤 면에서 예수님께서 십자가에서 돌아가신 날에 우리에게 이루어진 일을 보여주고 있습니다. 인간은 죄에 묶여 있었으며 하나님께서 우리의 자리를 대신하지 않으셨다면 우리가 풀려 나올 희망이란 전혀 없었습니다. 그리고 바로 그 일이 그대로 이루어졌습니다. 하나님의 아들이신 예수 그리스도가 우리를 대신하여 죽으시고 우리의 죄 값을 지불하셨습니다. 그 분은 우리가 영원한 형벌에서 벗어날 수 있는 길을 열어 놓으셨습니다. 우리가 천일 동안을 기록한다 해도, 인류의 죄를 위한 그리스도의 희생의 의미를 다 표현할 수가 없을 것입니다. 그 희생의 완전한 의미는 우리가 도저히 이해할 수 없는 것입니다. 당신의 죄를 고백하고 예수 그리스도를 당신 개인의 구주로 모셨습니까? 만일 아니라면, 오늘이 가장 좋은 기회입니다. 예수님을 의지하십시오. 그러면 십자가로 말미암아 사슬에서 풀려난다는 의미를 알게 될 것입니다.

Step out of sin's slavery and into salvation's freedom-trust Christ.

Matthew 27:33-50

[33] They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull).
[34] There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it.
[35] When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
[36] And sitting down, they kept watch over him there.
[37] Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
[38] Two robbers were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left.
[39] Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads
[40] and saying, "You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!"
[41] In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.
[42] "He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.
[43] He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.'"
[44] In the same way the robbers who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
[45] From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
[46] About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
[47] When some of those standing there heard this, they said, "He's calling Elijah."
[48] Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink.
[49] The rest said, "Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to save him."
[50] And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

놀라워라, 인간의 몸을 입으신 하나님
내 대신 나의 죄를 지셨네
죽을 수밖에 없었던 죄인인 나
영원한 생명을 얻게 하시려고

죄의 멍에에서 벗어나 구원의 자유로 들어가라. 그리스도를 의지하라.

마태복음 27:33-50

[33] 골고다 즉 해골의 곳이라는 곳에 이르러
[34] 쓸개 탄 포도주를 예수께 주어 마시게 하려 하였더니 예수께서 맛보시고 마시고자 아니하시더라
[35] 저희가 예수를 십자가에 못 박은 후에 그 옷을 제비 뽑아 나누고
[36] 거기 앉아 지키더라
[37] 그 머리 위에 이는 유대인의 왕 예수라 쓴 죄패를 붙였더라
[38] 이 때에 예수와 함께 강도 둘이 십자가에 못 박히니 하나는 우편에 하나는 좌편에 있더라
[39] 지나가는 자들은 자기 머리를 흔들며 예수를 모욕하여
[40] 가로되 성전을 헐고 사흘에 짓는 자여 네가 만일 하나님의 아들이어든 자기를 구원하고 십자가에서 내려오라 하며
[41] 그와 같이 대제사장들과 서기관들과 장로들과 함께 희롱하여 가로되
[42] 저가 남은 구원하였으되 자기는 구원할 수 없도다 저가 이스라엘의 왕이로다 지금 십자가에서 내려올지어다 그러면 우리가 믿겠노라
[43] 저가 하나님을 신뢰하니 하나님이 저를 기뻐하시면 이제 구원하실지라 제 말이 나는 하나님의 아들이라 하였도다 하며
[44] 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 강도들도 이와 같이 욕하더라
[45] 제 육 시로부터 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제 구 시까지 계속하더니
[46] 제 구 시 즈음에 예수께서 크게 소리질러 가라사대 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이는 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라
[47] 거기 섰던 자 중 어떤 이들이 듣고 가로되 이 사람이 엘리야를 부른다 하고
[48] 그 중에 한 사람이 곧 달려가서 해융을 가지고 신 포도주를 머금게 하여 갈대에 꿰어 마시우거늘
[49] 그 남은 사람들이 가로되 가만 두어라 엘리야가 와서 저를 구원하나 보자 하더라
[50] 예수께서 다시 크게 소리 지르시고 영혼이 떠나시다
