"They Wouldn		"그들은 허락하지 않았다!"
[ Matthew 11:20 - 11:30 ] - hymn 329 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11:28 A woman was trapped on the top floor of a burning building. Flames and smoke blocked every way of escape. When firefighters arrived, one of the men scrambled up a ladder to the window where the woman was screaming for help, and with outstretched arms he offered to save her. But when she looked down and saw the great distance to the ground below, she panicked and drew back into the room. The man attempting the rescue begged her to trust him for her safety, but his pleas were not heeded. In senseless fear she retreated beyond the fireman's reach. Finally, being forced to return to the ground, he said with tears in his eyes, "I did everything I could to save her, but she wouldn't let me!" Those words made me think of the spiritual peril facing so many people. Jesus longs to forgive their sins, but they stubbornly resist His offer of salvation. By refusing to trust Him, they are like the woman who perished in the flames even though she could have escaped. Dear friend, right now believe on the Lord Jesus! He invites you to come to Him(Matthew 11:28). Don't be among those of whom the Lord must say, "I did everything I could to save them, but they wouldn't let Me!" - Richard De Haan		[ 마태복음 11:20 - 11:30 ] - 찬송가 329 장 수고하고 무거운 짐진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라 - 마태복음 11:28 한 여인이 불에 타고 있는 건물의 맨 위층에 갇혀있었습니다. 화염과 연기가 모든 탈출구를 막았습니다. 소방관들이 도착하여 그 중 하나가 도와달라며 소리치는 여인이 있는 창을 향해 사다리를 타고 올라가 손을 내밀었습니다. 그러나 그 여인은 아래를 내려다보고는 지면까지의 거리가 엄청남에 겁에 질려 방 안쪽으로 다시 들어가 버렸습니다. 그녀를 구출하기 위해서 올라간 소방관은 안전하게 구할 수 있다는 것을 믿어달라고 간청했지만, 여인은 말을 듣지 않았습니다. 무분별한 두려움으로 인해서 여인은 소방관이 구할 수 없는 위치까지 물러서 버렸습니다. 결국 지면으로 내려올 수밖에 없었던 소방관은 눈물을 글썽이며 다음과 같이 말했습니다. "그녀를 구하려고 내가 할 수 있는 바를 다했지만, 그녀는 내가 돕도록 허락하지 않았습니다!" 이 몇 마디가 저로 하여금 수많은 사람들이 직면하는 영적 위험에 대해 생각하게 했습니다. 예수님께서는 그들의 죄를 용서하기 원하시지만, 그들은 예수님이 주시는 구원의 제의를 완강히 거절합니다. 그분을 신뢰하기를 거절함으로써, 그들은 탈출할 수 있었음에도 불구하고 화염 속에서 죽어간 여인과 같게 되는 것입니다. 친구여, 지금 당장 주 예수님을 믿으십시오. 예수님은 당신을 그분께 나오도록 초청하십니다(마11:28). 주님이 "그들을 구하려고 내가 할 수 있는 모든 바를 다했지만, 그들은 내가 돕도록 허락하지 않았다!"라고 말하실 수밖에 없는 사람들 중의 하나가 되지 마십시오.

Matthew 11:20-30

[20] Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent.
[21] "Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
[22] But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
[23] And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths. If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.
[24] But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."
[25] At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
[26] Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
[27] "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
[28] "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

형제여 지체 말라
이 기회를 잃지 말라
주 너에게 복 주실 때니
곧 주 앞에 나아오라

믿음은 하나님의 선물을 받는 손이다.

마태복음 11:20-30

[20] 예수께서 권능을 가장 많이 베푸신 고을들이 회개치 아니하므로 그 때에 책망하시되
[21] 화가 있을진저 고라신아 화가 있을진저 벳새다야 너희에게서 행한 모든 권능을 두로와 시돈에서 행하였더면 저희가 벌써 베옷을 입고 재에 앉아 회개하였으리라
[22] 내가 너희에게 이르노니 심판날에 두로와 시돈이 너희보다 견디기 쉬우리라
[23] 가버나움아 네가 하늘에까지 높아지겠느냐 음부에까지 낮아지리라 네게서 행한 모든 권능을 소돔에서 행하였더면 그 성이 오늘날까지 있었으리라
[24] 내가 너희에게 이르노니 심판날에 소돔 땅이 너보다 견디기 쉬우리라 하시니라
[25] 그 때에 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 천지의 주재이신 아버지여 이것을 지혜롭고 슬기 있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다
[26] 옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
[27] 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들을 아는 자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지를 아는 자가 없느니라
[28] 수고하고 무거운 짐진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라
[29] 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그러면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니
[30] 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라
