A Loan To The Lord		주님께 빌려드림
[ Matthew 25:34 - 25:46 ] - hymn 523 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given. -Proverbs 19:17 A father gave his little boy 50 cents and told him he could use it any way he wanted. Later when Dad asked about it, the boy told him that he had lent it to someone. "Who did you lend it to-" he asked. The boy answered, "I gave it to a poor man on the street because he looked hungry." "Oh, that was foolish. You'll never get it back," replied the father. "But Daddy, the Bible says that people who give to the poor lend to the Lord." The father was so pleased with the son's reply that he gave the boy another 50 cents. "See," said the son. "I told you I would get it back-only I didn't think it would be so soon!" Has the Lord ever asked you for a loan? Have you ever recognized in the needs of others a direct request from heaven for some of what you have? The Bible warns against the sin of passing by the needy with pious words while keeping a tight grip on our wallets (James 2:14-17). And Galatians 6:10 says that we are to "do good to all." We aren't promised that we'll get rewarded immediately. But in Jesus' teaching to His followers about His return, He says we will be rewarded for giving of ourselves to others in His name (Matthew 25:34-46). -Henry Bosch		[ 마태복음 25:34 - 25:46 ] - 찬송가 523 장 가난한 자를 불쌍히 여기는 것은 여호와께 꾸이는 것이니 그 선행을 갚아 주시리라-잠언 19:17 한 아버지가 어린 아들에게 50센트를 주며 쓰고 싶은대로 마음대로 쓰라고 하였습니다. 얼마 후 아버지가 그 돈에 대해 물었을 때, 소년은 그 돈을 다른 사람에게 빌려주었다고 말하였습니다. "누구에게 빌려주었니?"라고 묻자, 소년은 "길에서 마주친 가난한 사람이 배고파 보여 그에게 주었어요."라고 대답하였습니다. "이런 어리석기는. 그 돈을 돌려받지 못할 거야."라고 아버지가 말하자, 소년은 "하지만 아빠, 성경은 가난한 사람에게 주는 것은 주님께 빌려드리는 것이라고 했잖아요."라고 대답하였습니다. 아들의 대답에 매우 흡족한 아버지는 소년에게 50센트를 더 주었습니다. 그 아들은 "그것 보세요. 돌려받을 거라고 말했잖아요. 그런데 이렇게 빠를지는 저도 몰랐네요."라고 했습니다. 주님께서 당신에게 돈을 빌려달라고 부탁하신 적이 있나요? 다른 사람이 어려움을 겪을 때 당신이 가진 것 가운데 일부를 주님이 직접 요구하신다고 느낀 적이 있나요? 우리의 지갑을 꼭 움켜진 채 가난한 사람들을 경건한 말로만 위로하는 죄에 대해 성경은 경고 합니다 (약 2:14-17). 갈라디아서 6장 10절은 우리에게 "모든 이에게 착한 일을 하라"고 말하고 있습니다. 우리가 즉시 보상 받을 것이라고 약속받은 것은 아닙니다. 그러나 예수님께서는 제자들에게 그의 재림에 대해 가르치시면서, 다른 사람들에게 예수님의 이름으로 베푼 것에 대해 우리가 상을 받으리라고 말씀하셨습니다 (마 25:34-46).

Give as you would to the Master
If you met His searching look;
Give as you would of your substance

You may give without loving but you can't love without giving.

Matthew 25:34-46

[34] "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
[35] For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
[36] I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
[37] "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
[38] When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
[39] When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
[40] "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
[41] "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
[42] For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
[43] I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
[44] "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
[45] "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
[46] "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

주님이 도움 찾는 것을 보면
너의 주님께 드리듯 베풀어라
주님의 손이 너의 제물을 거두실 때
너의 재물을 드리듯 기꺼이 베풀어라

사랑 없이 줄 수는 있어도 주는 것 없이 사랑할 수는 없다.

마태복음 25:34-46

[34] 그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속하라
[35] 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고
[36] 벗었을 때에 옷을 입혔고 병들었을 때에 돌아 보았고 옥에 갇혔을 때에 와서 보았느니라
[37] 이에 의인들이 대답하여 가로되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주의 주리신 것을 보고 공궤하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마시게 하였나이까
[38] 어느 때에 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하였으며 벗으신 것을 보고 옷 입혔나이까
[39] 어느 때에 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 가서 뵈었나이까 하리니
[40] 임금이 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고
[41] 또 왼편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 저주를 받은 자들아 나를 떠나 마귀와 그 사자들을 위하여 예비된 영영한 불에 들어가라
[42] 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주지 아니하였고 목마를 때에 마시게 하지 아니하였고
[43] 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하지 아니하였고 벗었을 때에 옷 입히지 아니하였고 병들었을 때와 옥에 갇혔을 때에 돌아보지 아니하였느니라 하시니
[44] 저희도 대답하여 가로되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주의 주리신 것이나 목마르신 것이나 나그네 되신 것이나 벗으신 것이나 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 공양치 아니하더이까
[45] 이에 임금이 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 하지 아니한 것이 곧 내게 하지 아니한 것이니라 하시리니
[46] 저희는 영벌에 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라
