Dirty Dishes		더러운 그릇들
[ Matthew 24:32 - 24:44 ] - hymn 163 Abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. - 1 John 2:28 When I was a boy, my father often traveled to other cities to speak at churches and Bible conferences. Sometimes my mother would accompany him, leaving my brother and me alone for a few days. We enjoyed being independent, but we detested doing the dishes. I remember the time we tried to put off that dreaded chore as long as possible by stacking all the dirty plates, glasses, and silverware in the oven after each meal. At the end of the week, there was hardly any room left. Then, on the evening before Mom and Dad were to return, we rolled up our sleeves and cleaned up the whole mess. It took hours! How ashamed we would have been if our parents had come back earlier than we expected. Because we don't know exactly when Christ will return(Matthew 24:36,42,44), we must not get lazy in our Christian walk. The expectancy of His any-moment appearance should help us to be "faithful and wise" servants(v.45) and to live in a way that "we may have confidence and not be ashamed" when He comes(1 John 2:28). Yes, Christ will come again, just as He promised. Perhaps today! Do you have any "dirty dishes"- Now is the time to get ready. - Richard De Haan		[ 마태복음 24:32 - 24:44 ] - 찬송가 163 장 이제 그 안에 거하라 이는 주께서 나타내신바 되면 그의 강림하실 때에 우리로 담대함을 얻어 그 앞에서 부끄럽지 않게 하려 함이라 - 요한1서 2:28 내가 소년이었을 때, 우리 아버지는 다른 도시의 교회나 성경 집회에서 설교하시기 위해 자주 여행을 다니셨습니다. 이따금 어머니가 동반하시기도 했으므로 며칠 동안 우리 형제만이 집에 남아 있을 때도 있었습니다. 그럴 때면 우리는 간섭 받지 않아서 좋았지만, 설거지하는 것은 몹시 싫었습니다. 설거지가 하기 싫어서 매번 음식을 먹은 후, 더러운 접시, 유리컵, 은 그릇 따위를 모두 오븐 안에 쌓아놓고 미룰 수 있을 때까지 미뤘던 기억이 납니다. 일주일쯤 지나면 더 이상 쌓을 틈이 없어지곤 했습니다. 그러다가 부모님이 돌아오시기 전날 저녁에야 두 소매를 걷어붙이고 밀린 설거지를 했습니다. 몇 시간씩 걸렸습니다! 부모님이 우리 생각보다 일찍 돌아오시기라도 했다면 우리들이 얼마나 부끄러웠을런지요. 우리는 예수님께서 언제 재림하실지 정확히 모르므로(마24:36, 42, 44), 그리스도인으로서의 행보를 게을리 해선 안 됩니다. 언제 어느 때라도 재림하실지 모른다는 기대가 우리로 하여금 "충성되고 지혜 있는"(45절) 종이 되도록 도와주며, 주님이 재림하실 때 "우리가 담대함을 얻어 그 앞에서 부끄럽지 않게"(요일2:28) 해줄 것입니다. 그렇습니다. 예수님께서는 약속하신 대로 재림하실 것입니다. 어쩌면 오늘일지도 모르겠습니다! 혹 당신은 "더러운 그릇들"을 그대로 갖고 있습니까? 바로 지금 준비해야만 합니다.

Matthew 24:32-44

[32] "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
[33] "So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near--at the doors!
[34] "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
[35] "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
[36] "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
[37] "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
[38] "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
[39] "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
[40] "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
[41] "Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
[42] "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
[43] "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
[44] "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

오늘 만약 주님이 오신다면
우리를 신실하고 진실하다 하실까?
오늘 만약 주님이 오신다면
두려움이 아니라 기쁨으로 맞이하리

주님이 오늘 재림하시는 것처럼 살아라.

마태복음 24:32-44

[32] 무화과나무의 비유를 배우라 그 가지가 연하여지고 잎사귀를 내면 여름이 가까운 줄을 아나니
[33] 이와 같이 너희도 이 모든 일을 보거든 인자가 가까이 곧 문 앞에 이른 줄 알라
[34] 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 이 일이 다 이루리라
[35] 천지는 없어지겠으나 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라
[36] 그러나 그 날과 그 때는 아무도 모르나니 하늘의 천사들도, 아들도 모르고 오직 아버지만 아시느니라
[37] 노아의 때와 같이 인자의 임함도 그러하리라
[38] 홍수 전에 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가고 있으면서
[39] 홍수가 나서 저희를 다 멸하기까지 깨닫지 못하였으니 인자의 임함도 이와 같으리라
[40] 그 때에 두 사람이 밭에 있으매 하나는 데려감을 당하고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이요
[41] 두 여자가 매를 갈고 있으매 하나는 데려감을 당하고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이니라
[42] 그러므로 깨어 있으라 어느 날에 너희 주가 임할는지
[43] 너희가 알지 못함이니라 너희도 아는 바니 만일 집 주인이 도적이 어느 경점에 올 줄을 알았더면 깨어 있어 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라
[44] 이러므로 너희도 예비하고 있으라 생각지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라
