TOUCHED AT CHRISTMAS		크리스마스의 감동
[ Matthew 18:1 - 18:7 ] - hymn 300 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me."£ Matthew 19:14 In the past I¡¯ve been annoyed by crowded church services during the Christmas season. I disliked the jam-packed pews and the hard-to-find parking places. I've even grumbled after being shunted to an overflow room when the sanctuary had filled long before the service began. Why don't these people who come once a year just stay home? I thought. My attitude seemed to mirror that of the disciples, who scolded those who brought children to Jesus for His blessing(Matthew 19:13). Whatever the reasons, the disciples must have thought they had no right to be there. But Jesus said, ¡°Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven¡±(v.14). I finally came to realize that it¡¯s a good thing whenever a person is drawn to a gathering that celebrates Jesus¡¯ birth. Whether it¡¯s a children¡¯s program, a candlelight service, or a concert by the choir, we never know when someone will encounter Christ the Lord. Broadcast journalist Harry Reasoner once said: ¡°So if a Christian is touched only once a year, the touching is still worth it, and maybe on some given Christmas, some quiet morning, the touch will take.¡± Christmas seems to bring out the child in all of us. And every child is welcomed by Jesus. £ David McCasland		[ 마태복음 18:1 - 18:7 ] - 찬송가 300 장 예수께서 가라사대 어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 - 마태복음 19:14 과거에는 크리스마스 교회 예배 때 붐비는 인파로 인해 짜증이 나곤 했습니다. 특히 꽉꽉 들어찬 좌석들과 자리를 찾기 힘든 주차공간에 짜증이 났었습니다. 예배가 시작되기 훨씬 전에 이미 예배당이 다 차버려서 옆방으로 떠밀려 갈 때에 나는 투덜대곤 했습니다. "이렇게 일년에 한번만 교회에 오는 사람들은 그냥 집에나 있을 것이지." 나의 태도는 아이들을 예수께로 데려와서 축복을 받게 하려고 한 사람들을 야단쳤던 예수님의 제자들과 똑같았습니다(마19:13). 이유가 무엇이든 제자들은 아이들이 그곳에 올 자격이 없다고 생각했었음에 틀림이 없습니다. 그러나 예수님께서는 “어린아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라”(14절)고 말씀하셨습니다. 마침내 나는 예수님의 탄생을 축하하는 모임에 사람이 모여드는 것은 언제든지 참으로 좋은 일이라는 것을 깨달았습니다. 어린이들의 행사이거나, 촛불예배이거나, 성가대의 연주회이거나 간에 어떤 사람이 이런 행사를 통해 예수님을 만나게 될 수 있을지 우리는 전혀 알 수 없습니다. 방송기자인 해리 리즈너는 이렇게 얘기한 적이 있습니다. “어떤 그리스도인이 일년에 단 한번씩 감동을 받는다 할지라도 그 감동은 여전히 그만한 가치가 있습니다. 어느 크리스마스에 아니면 어느 조용한 아침에 그 감동이 역사할 수도 있기 때문입니다.” 크리스마스는 우리를 어린아이같이 만드는 것 같습니다. 어린이 하나하나를 예수님께서는 환영하십니다.

Nothing moves us like a touch from Jesus.

Matthew 18:1-7; 19:13-15

[1] At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
[2] He called a little child and had him stand among them.
[3] And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
[4] Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
[5] "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
[6] But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
[7] "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

[13] Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
[14] Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
[15] When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

나에게 부드럽고 동정심 있는 마음을 주소서
예수님 당신 같이, 예수님 당신 같이
내 주위에 있는 필요한 것들로 감동 받고
신성한 자비로 나를 채워주소서

예수님의 손길 같은 감동은 없다.

마태복음 18:1-7, 19:13-15

[1] 그 때에 제자들이 예수께 나아와 가로되 천국에서는 누가 크니이까
[2] 예수께서 한 어린 아이를 불러 저희 가운데 세우시고
[3] 가라사대 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 돌이켜 어린 아이들과 같이 되지 아니하면 결단코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라
[4] 그러므로 누구든지 이 어린 아이와 같이 자기를 낮추는 그이가 천국에서 큰 자니라
[5] 또 누구든지 내 이름으로 이런 어린 아이 하나를 영접하면 곧 나를 영접함이니
[6] 누구든지 나를 믿는 이 소자 중 하나를 실족케 하면 차라리 연자 맷돌을 그 목에 달리우고 깊은 바다에 빠뜨리우는 것이 나으리라
[7] 실족케 하는 일들이 있음을 인하여 세상에 화가 있도다 실족케 하는 일이 없을 수는 없으나 실족케 하는 그 사람에게는 화가 있도다

[13] 때에 사람들이 예수의 안수하고 기도하심을 바라고 어린 아이들을 데리고 오매 제자들이 꾸짖거늘
[14] 예수께서 가라사대 어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라 하시고
[15] 저희 위에 안수하시고 거기서 떠나시니라
