Look At The Birds		새들을 보라
[ Matthew 6:25 - 6:34 ] - hymn 453 Look at the birds of the air.... Are you not of more value than they? - Matthew 6:26 When you shift your mind into neutral and just let it idle, where do your thoughts go? Do you worry about money? We are to be careful with money, but Jesus taught that we are not to be full of care about it. If you have put your faith in the Lord, you don't have to worry about life's necessities. God Himself has assumed responsibility for your food and clothing-and all your needs. When Jesus spoke of our need for food, He pointed to the birds, and said, "They neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"(Matthew 6:26). That doesn't mean we get what we need by doing nothing. Birds must scratch and search for food. The point is, they don't worry about it. Jesus instructed us to center our lives on God's kingdom. Then clothing, food, and drink will be ours as well. Look at it this way: Whether or not you live only for money, you'll ultimately leave it or it will leave you. But if you focus your life on God and doing His will, all these other things will be provided. Does your concern for making money and keeping it overshadow your concern for doing God's will? If so, stop and look at the birds. - Haddon Robinson		[ 마태복음 6:25 - 6:34 ] - 찬송가 453 장 공중의 새를 보라…너희는 이것들보다 귀하지 아니하냐－마태복음 6:26 당신의 마음을 비우고 가만히 앉아있으면 생각이 어디로 흐르게 됩니까? 돈에 대한 걱정이 앞섭니까? 우리는 돈에 대해 신중해야 하지만 예수님께서는 우리가 돈에 대한 걱정으로 가득 차서는 안 된다고 가르치셨습니다. 주님을 믿는다면 삶에서 필요한 것들에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없습니다. 하나님께서는 스스로 당신의 먹을 것과 입을 것, 그리고 당신이 필요로 하는 모든 것에 대한 책임을 지셨습니다. 예수님께서 우리의 먹을 것에 대해서 말씀하셨을 때 새들을 가리키시면서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. "그들은 심지도 않고 거두지도 않고 창고에 모아 들이지도 아니하되 너희 천부께서 기르시나니 너희는 이것들보다 귀하지 아니하냐?"(마 6:26). 이것은 우리가 아무 것도 하지 않아도 우리에게 필요한 것을 얻을 수 있다는 뜻이 아닙니다. 새들은 부지런히 헤치고 다니며 먹을 것을 찾아야 합니다. 요점은 그들은 걱정을 하지 않는다는 것입니다. 예수님께서는 우리 삶의 중심을 하나님 나라에 두라고 가르치신 것입니다. 그러면 우리의 먹을 것과 마실 것은 우리에게 공급될 것입니다. 이렇게 한번 생각해 보십시오. 당신이 돈만을 위해서 살든 그렇지 않든 간에 결국 끝에 가서는 당신이 돈을 떠나든지 아니면 돈이 당신을 떠나든지 할 것입니다. 그러나 당신의 삶을 하나님께 맞추고 살면서 그분의 뜻을 행한다면 이 모든 것을 다 더해 주실 것입니다. 돈을 벌고 모으는 것에 대한 걱정이 하나님의 뜻을 이루는 것에 대한 관심을 가리고 있지는 않습니까? 그렇다면 잠시 멈추고 새들을 한번 바라보십시오.

Poverty of purpose is far worse than poverty of purse.

Matthew 6:25-34

[25] "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
[26] Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
[27] Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
[28] "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
[29] Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
[30] If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
[31] So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
[32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
[33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
[34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

하나님 아버지의 자녀들

어미 품속의 새나 하늘의 별들이
한 번도 가져보지 못한 피난처

목적의 빈곤은 지갑의 빈곤보다
훨씬 더 나쁜 것이다.

마태복음 6:25-34

[25] 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 목숨을 위하여 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라 목숨이 음식보다 중하지 아니하며 몸이 의복보다 중하지 아니하냐
[26] 공중의 새를 보라 심지도 않고 거두지도 않고 창고에 모아 들이지도 아니하되 너희 천부께서 기르시나니 너희는 이것들보다 귀하지 아니하냐
[27] 너희 중에 누가 염려함으로 그 키를 한 자나 더할 수 있느냐
[28] 또 너희가 어찌 의복을 위하여 염려하느냐 들의 백합화가 어떻게 자라는가 생각하여 보아라 수고도 아니하고 길쌈도 아니하느니라
[29] 그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지 못하였느니라
[30] 오늘 있다가 내일 아궁이에 던지우는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며 너희일까보냐 믿음이 적은 자들아
[31] 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라
[32] 이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 천부께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라
[33] 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
[34] 그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일 염려할 것이요 한 날 괴로움은 그 날에 족하니라
