The Children's Friend		어린이들의 친구
[ Matthew 19:13 - 19:15 ] - hymn 300 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 19:14 Today, people around the globe will observe the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. The lessons and encouragement contained in his tales of The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid, and The Emperor's New Clothes are still considered a great gift to children everywhere. I'm reminded, however, that Jesus Christ is the greatest friend of children the world has ever known. No one has done more for them than Jesus. When Jesus' disciples reprimanded people for bringing little ones to Him, the Lord said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:14). Jesus valued children as persons of worth. After His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the Lord accepted the praise of children and reminded those who criticized them that God has ordained praise even "out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants" (Matthew 21:16; Psalm 8:2). Companionship with the Savior is the privilege of everyone who trusts Him with the simple faith of a child. His loving arms and tender heart are ready to embrace every child who accepts Him. He willingly receives all who open their hearts to Him. He is the children's Friend. - David McCasland		[ 마태복음 19:13 - 19:15 ] - 찬송가 300 장 예수께서 가라사대 어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라－ 마태복음 19:14 오늘, 세계 곳곳의 사람들이 위대한 동화작가 한스 크리스찬 안데르센의 탄생 200주년을 기념할 것입니다. 그의 동화 미운오리새끼, 인어공주, 그리고 벌거벗은 임금님에 담겨있는 교훈과 격려는 아직도 모든 지역의 어린이들에게 크나큰 선물로 여겨지고 있습니다. 그러나 예수 그리스도야말로 역사상 어린이들의 가장 위대한 친구라고 생각됩니다. 아이들을 위해 예수님보다 더 해준 사람은 아무도 없기 때문입니다. 예수님의 제자들이 어린아이들을 주님께로 데리고 온 것 때문에 사람들을 꾸짖었을 때, 주님께서는 “어린아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라”(마 19:14)고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님께서는 어린아이들을 귀하게 여기셨습니다. 예루살렘으로 승리의 입성을 하신 후 주님께서는 어린아이들의 찬양을 받으시고, 아이들을 비난하는 자들에게 하나님께서 “어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는”(마 21:16; 시 8:2) 찬미를 온전케 하셨음을 일깨워 주셨습니다. 구주와 친구가 된다는 것은 어린아이의 그 단순한 믿음으로 주님을 신뢰하는 모든 사람에게 주어지는 특권입니다. 주님의 사랑의 팔과 다정한 마음은 주님을 영접하는 모든 어린아이를 안아주실 준비가 되어 있습니다. 주님께서는 주님께 마음을 여는 모든 사람을 기꺼이 맞이하십니다. 주님은 어린이들의 친구이십니다.

"Come to Me, you will be blessed,"

The Creator hides secrets from sages,
yet He can be known by children.

Matthew 19:13-15

[13] Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
[14] But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
[15] And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

오 예수님, 언제인가
놀고 있는 어린아이들에게
"내게로 오라, 축복하리라" 하신 주님
우리에게 오셔서 영접을 받으소서

창조주께서는 슬기로운 자에게는
비밀을 감추시지만 아이들은 그분을 알아본다.

마태복음 19:13-15

[13] 때에 사람들이 예수의 안수하고 기도하심을 바라고 어린 아이들을 데리고 오매 제자들이 꾸짖거늘
[14] 예수께서 가라사대 어린 아이들을 용납하고 내게 오는 것을 금하지 말라 천국이 이런 자의 것이니라 하시고
[15] 저희 위에 안수하시고 거기서 떠나시니라
