Change The World?		세상을 변화시키시렵니까?
[ Matthew 25:34 - 25:40 ] - hymn 373 I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink. - Matthew 25:35 When my son Steve came home from a concert recently, he had with him a free T-shirt and a brochure for an organization that helps needy children in a far-off continent. Apparently, one of the singers had issued a challenge. "We wanted to change the world with our music," he said, "but often all we do is sing. We decided that we were going to take action to change some lives, so we started supporting some needy kids." Then he set forth the challenge, which Steve accepted. He then talked with his Bible-study group at church about supporting a child each month. Most of us want to change the world for the better, but the job seems too big. So what if we decided to do at least one thing to change just one person's life? In the name of Jesus, who said that providing physical help would be the same as helping our Savior Himself (Matthew 25:35-36), what if we reached out to one person with food, or clothing, or transportation? And what if that person, wondering about our motive, asks why we helped? We could then help change that person's life for eternity by introducing him or her to the Savior. Change the world? Let's start with changing one person in Jesus' name. - Dave Branon		[ 마태복음 25:34 - 25:40 ] - 찬송가 373 장 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 - 마태복음 25:35 최근 내 아들 스티브가 음악회에 갔다가 공짜로 주는 티셔츠 하나와 먼 나라에 사는 가난한 어린이들을 도와주는 한 단체의 팜플렛을 가지고 왔습니다. 가수 중의 한 사람이 청중들을 자극했던 것이 틀림이 없습니다. "우리는 우리의 음악으로 세상을 변화시키기 원하였지만, 노래하는 것이 고작이었습니다. 그래서 우리는 몇 명의 삶을 변화시키기 위한 행동을 개시하기로 결정하였고 몇몇 불우 어린이들을 돕기 시작했습니다." 이렇게 가수는 청중들을 자극하였고 스티브가 그것을 받아들였습니다. 그 후에 스티브는 교회의 성경공부 그룹에게 매달 한 어린이를 후원하자고 제의하였습니다. 대다수의 사람들은 세상을 더 좋게 변화시키기 원합니다. 그러나 그 과제가 너무 엄청난 것처럼 보입니다. 그렇다면 우리가 단 한 사람의 삶을 변화시키기 위해 적어도 한 가지 일을 하기로 결심해 보는 것은 어떻습니까? 물질적으로 다른 사람을 도와주는 것이 구주 자신을 도와주는 것과 똑같다고 말씀하셨던 (마 25:35-36) 예수님의 이름으로 다른 사람들에게 도움의 손을 뻗쳐서 음식이나 옷이나 차편을 제공하는 것은 어떨까요? 그리고 만일 그 사람이 우리가 그를 도와주는 동기를 궁금해 하면서 왜 우리가 그를 도와주느냐고 물어온다면 어떻게 할까요? 우리는 그에게 구주를 소개해드림으로써 그 사람의 삶을 영원히 바꿀 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있습니다. 세상을 변화시키시렵니까? 예수님의 이름으로 한 사람을 변화시키는 일부터 시작합시다.

Matthew 25:34-40

[34] "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
[35] For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
[36] I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
[37] "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
[38] When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
[39] When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
[40] "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

비록 그 결과를 볼 수 없다고 할지라도
작은 친철 한가지를 베푸리라
그것이 퍼져 나가는 물결처럼
먼 영원까지 도달하리라

인간이 존재하는 어느 곳에나 친절을 베풀 수 있는 기회가 있다.

마태복음 25:34-40

[34] 그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속하라
[35] 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고
[36] 벗었을 때에 옷을 입혔고 병들었을 때에 돌아 보았고 옥에 갇혔을 때에 와서 보았느니라
[37] 이에 의인들이 대답하여 가로되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주의 주리신 것을 보고 공궤하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마시게 하였나이까
[38] 어느 때에 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하였으며 벗으신 것을 보고 옷 입혔나이까
[39] 어느 때에 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 가서 뵈었나이까 하리니
[40] 임금이 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고
