An Easy Yoke		편한 멍에
[ Matthew 11:25 - 11:30 ] - hymn 327 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. - Matthew 11:29 A Sunday school teacher read Matthew 11:30 to the children in her class, and then asked: "Jesus said, 'My yoke is easy.' Who can tell me what a yoke is?" A boy raised his hand and replied, "A yoke is something they put on the necks of animals so they can help each other." Then the teacher asked, "What is the yoke Jesus puts on us?" A quiet little girl raised her hand and said, "It is God putting His arm around us." When Jesus came, He offered an "easy" and "lighter" yoke compared to the yoke of the religious leaders (Matthew 11:30). They had placed "heavy burdens" of laws on the people (Matthew 23:4; Acts 15:10), which no one could possibly keep. God knew we would never be able to measure up to His standards (Romans 3:23), so He sent Jesus to this earth. Jesus obeyed His Father's commands perfectly and bore the punishment of death for our sins. As we humble ourselves and recognize our need for forgiveness, Jesus comes alongside us. He places His yoke on us, freeing us from guilt and giving us His power to live a life that's pleasing to God. Are you in need of Jesus' help? He says, "Come to Me .... Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me" (Matthew 11:28-29). He longs to put His arm around you. - Anne Cetas		[ 마태복음 11:25 - 11:30 ] - 찬송가 327 장 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 - 마태복음 11:29 주일학교 교사가 자기 반 아이들에게 마태복음 11장 30절 말씀을 읽어주고는 다음과 같이 질문했습니다. "예수님께서 말씀하시기를 ‘내 멍에는 쉽다’라고 하셨는데 멍에가 무엇인지 누가 말해 보겠어요?" 한 소년이 손을 들고 답했습니다. "멍에란 사람들이 짐승의 목에 걸어서 서로 도울 수 있도록 하는 물건입니다." 그러자 선생은 "그러면 예수님께서 우리들에게 지우신 멍에는 무엇일까요?"라고 질문했습니다. 말 없는 작은 한 여자아이가 "우리를 감싸 안고 계시는 하나님입니다" 라고 대답했습니다. 예수님께서 오셨을 때 그 분은 종교 지도자들의 멍에보다 "쉽고" "가벼운" 멍에를 주셨습니다 (마 11:30). 종교 지도자들은 아무도 감당할 수 없는 율법의 "무거운 짐"을 사람들에게 지웠었습니다 (마 23:4; 행 15:10). 하나님께서는 하나님의 기준까지 우리들이 다다를 수 없다는 것을 아셨기 때문에 (롬 3:23) 예수님을 이 땅에 보내셨습니다. 예수님은 아버지의 명령에 완전히 순종하셨고 우리들의 죄로 인하여 죽음의 형벌까지 감당하셨습니다. 우리들이 겸손해져서 속죄의 필요성을 인식하게 되면 예수님께서 우리 곁으로 오십니다. 예수님은 그분의 멍에를 우리에게 지우셔서 우리로 하여금 죄로부터 자유롭게 하시고 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 삶을 살 수 있도록 그 분의 능력을 더해 주십니다. 예수님의 도움을 필요로 하십니까? 예수님은 말씀하십니다. "다 내게로 오라...나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라" (마 11:28-29). 그분은 우리를 감싸 안고 싶어하십니다.

God's easy yoke does not fit
on a stiff neck.

Matthew 11:25-30

[25] At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
[26] Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
[27] "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
[28] "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

죄인들이 감당해야 하는
죄의 짐은 무거우나
예수님이 나누기 원하시는
그 멍에는 가볍고 편하도다

하나님의 편한 멍에는
뻣뻣한 목에는 맞지 않는다.

마태복음 11:25-30

[25] 그 때에 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 천지의 주재이신 아버지여 이것을 지혜롭고 슬기 있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다
[26] 옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
[27] 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들을 아는 자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지를 아는 자가 없느니라
[28] 수고하고 무거운 짐진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라
[29] 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그러면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니
[30] 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라
