Working In The Harvest		추수
[ Matthew 9:35 - 10:4 ] - hymn 271 Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. - Matthew 9:38 While D. L. Moody was attending a convention in Indianapolis on mass evangelism, he did more than just talk about it. He asked a friend, who was a gifted musician, to meet him on a street corner at 6 o'clock one evening. The man stood on a box and sang a song. When a crowd gathered, Moody spoke briefly and then invited the people to follow him to the nearby convention hall. Soon the auditorium was filled with spiritually hungry people, and he preached to them. When the convention attendees began to arrive, Moody stopped preaching and said, "Now we must close, as the brethren of the convention want to discuss the topic, 'How to reach the masses.'" When Jesus saw the masses, He was "moved with compassion" for them (Matthew 9:36). He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful... . Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers" (vv.37-38). And He sent them out to preach the good news of His kingdom (10:1). It is estimated that only 10 percent of the world's population of 6.3 billion are believers in Jesus Christ. And more than 25 percent have never heard of Jesus' love even once. Matthew 9:35-10:4

[35] Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
[36] When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
[37] Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
[38] Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

[1] He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
[2] These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
[3] Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
[4] Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

저 멀리, 이교도들의 어두운 거주지에서는
수백만의 영혼들이 영원히 구원 못 받을지 모르네
치를 대가를 개의치 않고 예수님만을 바라보며
누가, 어느 누가 구원의 이야기를 말하러 가려나?

당신이 다음에 만날 사람이 당신의 선교지가 될지도 모른다.

[35] 예수께서 모든 성과 촌에 두루 다니사 저희 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라
[36] 무리를 보시고 민망히 여기시니 이는 저희가 목자 없는 양과 같이 고생하며 유리함이라
[37] 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일꾼은 적으니
[38] 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내어 주소서 하라 하시니라

[1] 예수께서 그 열두 제자를 부르사 더러운 귀신을 쫓아내며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치는 권능을 주시니라
[2] 열두 사도의 이름은 이러하니 베드로라 하는 시몬을 비롯하여 그의 형제 안드레와 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그의 형제 요한,
[3] 빌립과 바돌로매, 도마와 세리 마태, 알패오의 아들 야고보와 다대오,
[4] 가나안인 시몬과 및 가룟 유다 곧 예수를 판 자라
