A Friend Of Sinners		죄인들의 친구
[ Matthew 9:9 - 9:13 ] - hymn 369 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. - Luke 5:32 Jesus was having dinner one evening when "many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him" (Matthew 9:10). The religious leaders of that day were outraged by His behavior. Their conclusion was that Jesus was a friend of sinners, and as it turns out, He was. "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). Jesus was morally separate from sinners and never took part in their lifestyle. Yet He did not separate Himself physically from sinful people. He spent time with them and became their friend. Just like Jesus, you and I can't help but rub shoulders with all kinds of people in our daily activities. Tertullian, an early Roman writer, described the relationships between the Christians and non-Christians of his day this way: "We live among you, eat the same food, wear the same clothes ... We sojourn with you in the world, renouncing neither forum, nor market, nor bath, nor booth, nor workshop, nor inn ... We till the ground with you, we join with you in business ventures." We too must seek the lost, as Jesus did-and it doesn't take much effort. It's good to ask ourselves from time to time, "How many friends do I have who are lost?" - David Roper		[ 마태복음 9:9 - 9:13 ] - 찬송가 369 장 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 불러 회개시키러 왔노라 - 누가복음 5:32 예수님이 어느 날 저녁 식사하실 때 많은 세리와 죄인들이 와서 그 분과 함께 앉았습니다(마 9:10). 그 날 종교지도자들은 그의 행동을 보고 화가 났습니다. 그들은 예수님이 죄인들의 친구라고 결론을 내렸는데 사실 그러했습니다. "인자의 온 것은 잃어버린 자를 찾아 구원하려 함이니라"(눅 19:10)고 기록되어 있습니다. 예수님은 도덕적으로 볼 때 죄인들과 구별된 분이셨으며 그들의 생활방식에도 결코 동화되지 않으셨습니다. 그러나 예수님은 육신적으로는 죄인들로부터 떠나지 않으셨고 그들과 함께 시간을 보내며 친구가 되어 주셨습니다. 예수님과 마찬가지로 여러분과 저도 일상생활 중에 여러 부류의 사람들과 접촉할 수밖에 없습니다. 고대 로마의 작가인 터툴리안은 그 당시 기독교인과 비기독교인의 관계를 다음과 같이 기술했습니다. "우리는 당신들과 함께 기거하며 같은 음식을 먹고 같은 옷을 입고... 당신들과 같이 세상에 체류하여 광장이나, 시장이나, 목욕탕이나, 매점이나, 작업장이나 여관 어디라도 상관하지 않고... 당신들과 함께 땅을 일구며 함께 사업을 하였습니다." 우리도 또한 예수님처럼 잃어버린 자를 찾아야 합니다. 그것은 별로 힘들지 않습니다. 가끔 자신을 돌아보며 "나에게는 길 잃은 친구가 얼마나 있는가?"라고 자문해 보는 것이 좋습니다.

Friends of mine are lost in sin

To be a friend of Jesus is to be a friend of sinners.

Matthew 9:9-13

[9] As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him.
[10] Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
[11] And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
[12] When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
[13] "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

오늘 나를 주위의 사람들에게 인도하소서
주여, 무엇을 말해야 하는지 가르쳐 주소서
나의 친구가 죄 중에 헤매고
갈 길을 찾지 못하나이다

예수님의 친구가 되려면 죄인들의 친구가 되어야 한다.

마태복음 9:9-13

[9] 예수께서 거기서 떠나 지나가시다가 마태라 하는 사람이 세관에 앉은 것을 보시고 이르시되 나를 좇으라 하시니 일어나 좇으니라
[10] 예수께서 마태의 집에서 앉아 음식을 잡수실 때에 많은 세리와 죄인들이 와서 예수와 그 제자들과 함께 앉았더니
[11] 바리새인들이 보고 그 제자들에게 이르되 어찌하여 너희 선생은 세리와 죄인들과 함께 잡수시느냐
[12] 예수께서 들으시고 이르시되 건강한 자에게는 의원이 쓸 데 없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸 데 있느니라
[13] 너희는 가서 내가 긍휼을 원하고 제사를 원치 아니하노라 하신 뜻이 무엇인지 배우라 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 부르러 왔노라 하시니라
