The Pursuit Of Happiness		행복의 추구
[ Matthew 5:1 - 5:10 ] - hymn 516 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:3 Everyone is looking for happiness, and people follow many avenues trying to find it. They look for it in money, parties, self-improvement programs, fancy cars, luxurious homes, or promoting a cause. That's the wrong list. The right one is found in Matthew 5. Jesus taught us that deep and lasting happiness comes from being right with God. He said we are blessed, or happy, when we are: Poor in spirit - recognizing our desperate need for God. Mourning - realizing the awfulness of sin and being genuinely sorry for it. Meek - demonstrating self-control, even when we are mistreated. Hungry and thirsty for righteousness - longing to be holy and pure. Merciful - showing mercy to others, just as God shows mercy to us. Pure in heart - being singleminded and sincere in our devotion to Christ. Peacemakers - sharing the peace Christ offers, and promoting peace with one another. Persecuted - being willing to suffer for Jesus' sake. Looking for happiness? Follow Jesus' way. -Dave Branon		[ 마태복음 5:1 - 5:10 ] - 찬송가 516 장 심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 저희 것임이요 - 마태복음 5:3 모든 사람은 행복을 찾습니다. 그래서 여러 가지 방법을 모색합니다. 돈, 연회, 자기 개발 프로그램, 멋진 자동차, 호화 주택, 혹은 보람 있는 일 같은 것에서 행복을 찾습니다. 이것은 잘못된 목록입니다. 올바른 목록은 마태복음 5장에서 발견할 수 있습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 소멸되지 않는 진정한 행복은 하나님과의 바른 관계에서 온다고 가르치셨습니다. 예수님은 우리가 다음과 같아질 때 축복을 받거나 행복해 진다고 말씀하셨습니다. 심령이 가난할 때 - 하나님을 향한 우리의 간절한 요구를 인식하는 것. 애통할 때 - 죄의 끔찍함을 깨닫고 진정으로 그것을 슬퍼하는 것. 온유할 때 - 부당한 대우를 받았을 때도 자제력을 발휘하는 것. 의에 주리고 목마를 때 - 거룩하고 정결하기를 열망하는 것. 긍휼히 여길 때 - 하나님께서 우리에게 자비를 베푸신 것처럼 다른 사람에게 자비를 베푸는 것. 마음이 청결할 때 - 그리스도를 향한 우리의 헌신이 한결 같고 진실한 것. 화평케 할 때 - 그리스도가 주시는 평화를 나누며 서로간에 평화를 증진시키는 것. 핍박을 받을 때 - 예수님을 위하여 기꺼이 고통을 받는 것. 행복을 찾고 계십니까? 예수님의 길을 따르십시오.

Who by His cross have found their life,

Happiness depends on what you are, not on what you have.

Matthew 5:1-10

[1] Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,
[2] and he began to teach them, saying:
[3] "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[4] Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
[5] Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
[6] Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
[7] Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
[8] Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
[9] Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
[10] Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

하나님을 사랑하는 자
그의 심령이 그리스도를 고백한 자
예수님의 십자가로 생명을 찾은 자는 복이 있나니
저희가 예수님의 멍에 밑에서 쉼을 얻으리.

행복은 당신의 소유가 아니라 당신의 사람됨에 달려 있다.

[2] 입을 열어 가르쳐 가라사대

[5] 온유한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 땅을 기업으로 받을 것임이요

[7] 긍휼히 여기는 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 긍휼히 여김을 받을 것임이요
[8] 마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님을 볼 것임이요
[9] 화평케 하는 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 것임이요
[10] 의를 위하여 핍박을 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 저희 것임이라
