God's Guidance		하나님의 인도
[ Matthew 1:18 - 1:25 ] - hymn 125 An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid." - Matthew 1:20 The Christmas story contains a surprising glimpse into the way God guides those who trust in Him. When the Lord was about to turn the lives of Mary and Joseph upside down, He revealed His plans to them at different times and in different ways. Mary received advance notice from the angel Gabriel that she would conceive the Son of God by the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:30-35). But Joseph, her fiancé seems to have received no word from God at that time. Later, when he learned of Mary's pregnancy and pondered how to end their engagement without publicly disgracing her, "an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, 'Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 1:20). Such is the mystery of God's guidance. Mary was told beforehand and Joseph had to struggle with what must have seemed a crushing blow. But no matter when God's word came to them, Mary and Joseph both faithfully obeyed. We cannot predict all of what the Lord wants us to do nor how He will direct our lives, but we can be confident that He will guide us. And, like Mary and Joseph, we must be ready to follow His leading. - David McCasland		[ 마태복음 1:18 - 1:25 ] - 찬송가 125 장 주의 사자가 현몽하여 가로되 다윗의 자손 요셉아 무서워 말라 - 마태복음 1:20 크리스마스에 얽힌 이야기는 하나님께서 당신을 신뢰하는 자들을 인도하시는 방법에 대한 놀라운 일면을 담고 있습니다. 마리아와 요셉의 삶이 하나님에 의해 완전히 혼란 속에 빠지려 할 때, 하나님께서는 다른 시간에 다른 방법으로 그들 각자에게 하나님의 계획들을 보여주셨습니다. 마리아는 가브리엘 천사로부터 그녀가 성령의 능력으로 하나님의 아들을 수태하게 될 것이라는 통고를 미리 받았습니다 (눅 1:30;35). 그러나 그녀의 약혼자인 요셉은 그때에는 하나님으로부터 아무 말씀도 받지 않은 듯 합니다. 후에 그가 마리아의 임신 사실을 알고 공개적으로 마리아를 망신주지 않고 파혼할 방법을 생각하고 있었을 때 주의 사자가 현몽하여 “다윗의 자손 요셉아 네 아내 마리아 데려오기를 무서워 말라 저에게 잉태된 자는 성령으로 된 것이라” (마 1:20)고 말했습니다. 하나님의 인도하심은 이렇게 신비스럽습니다. 마리아는 미리 소식을 들었고 요셉은 분명히 치명적이었을 정신적 타격을 받고 번민해야 했습니다. 그러나 언제 하나님의 말씀이 그들에게 전해졌든 마리아와 요셉은 모두 신실하게 순종했습니다. 우리는 하나님께서 우리가 무엇을 하기를 원하시는지 또는 우리의 삶을 어떻게 지도하실 지는 예측할 수 없습니다. 그러나 하나님께서 우리를 인도하실 것이라는 사실은 확신할 수 있습니다. 그러므로 마리아와 요셉처럼 우리는 하나님의 인도하심을 따를준비가 되어 있어야 합니다.

You don't need to know where you're going if you let God do the leading.

Matthew 1:18-25

[18] This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
[19] Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
[20] But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
[21] She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
[22] All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
[23] "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."
[24] When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
[25] But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

날마다 족한 은혜를 주시는
하나님의 손에 미래가 있네.
우리가 하나님께 맡기기만 하면
좋을 때나 나쁠 때나 친절하게 인도하시네.

하나님의 인도하심에 맡기면 어디로 가는지 알 필요가 없다.

마태복음 1:18-25

[18] 예수 그리스도의 나심은 이러하니라 그 모친 마리아가 요셉과 정혼하고 동거하기 전에 성령으로 잉태된 것이 나타났더니
[19] 그 남편 요셉은 의로운 사람이라 저를 드러내지 아니하고 가만히 끊고자 하여
[20] 이 일을 생각할 때에 주의 사자가 현몽하여 가로되 다윗의 자손 요셉아 네 아내 마리아 데려오기를 무서워 말라 저에게 잉태된 자는 성령으로 된 것이라
[21] 아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라
[22] 이 모든 일의 된 것은 주께서 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이니 가라사대
[23] 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라
[24] 요셉이 잠을 깨어 일어나서 주의 사자의 분부대로 행하여 그 아내를 데려왔으나
[25] 아들을 낳기까지 동침치 아니하더니 낳으매 이름을 예수라 하니라
