[ Matthew 4:18 - 4:22 ] - hymn 270 He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." - Matthew 4:19 A skilled fly fisherman whips his line back and forth over his head. Then he releases the line and sets the fly-like lure down on the water's surface exactly where he wants it. If he's successful, a big rainbow trout will rise, strike the lure, and the fisherman will set the hook. The battle is on! That's one way to catch fish. Halibut fishermen use another method. They go out on the ocean and drop big baited hooks, sometimes as far down as 125 or 150 feet. When one of those big, flat fish goes for the bait and is hooked, he begins a long ride to the surface. Jesus told Peter and Andrew to follow Him and He would make them "fishers of men" (Matthew 4:18-19). As followers of Christ today, we too are to be "fishing" for people in our world, using different methods to spread the good news. We are to be telling men and women, family and friends, young and old, about their sin, the love of God, and His offer of salvation through faith in Jesus. Are you fishing for men? Keep following Jesus, and He'll teach you how to fish. - Dave Egner		[ 마태복음 4:18 - 4:22 ] - 찬송가 270 장 말씀하시되 나를 따라 오너라 내가 너희로 사람을 낚는 어부가 되게 하리라 하시니 - 마태복음 4:19 노련한 제물 낚시꾼은 낚싯줄을 머리 위에서 앞뒤로 휘두르다가 낚싯줄을 풀어 던져 파리 모양의 미끼를 자기가 원하는 수면 위에 정확하게 떨어뜨립니다. 만약 낚시가 잘될 것 같으면 커다란 무지개송어가 올라와 그 미끼를 건드릴 것이고 낚시꾼은 낚시바늘을 그 물고기에 걸 수 있게 될 것입니다. 그러면 싸움이 시작되는 것입니다! 이것이 낚시의 한 가지 방법입니다. 핼리벗 (북방 해양에서 나는 큰 넙치) 낚시꾼들은 다른 방법을 씁니다. 그들은 바다에 나가서 미끼를 끼운 커다란 낚시바늘들을 내려 놓는데 어떤 때는 125피트나 150피트까지 깊이 내려놓습니다. 그 크고 넓적한 물고기가 미끼를 먹으려다 낚시바늘에 걸리면, 그 물고기는 수면까지 올라오는 긴 여행을 시작하게 됩니다. 예수님은 베드로와 안드레에게 자기를 따라 오면 그들을 “사람을 낚는 어부” (마 4:18-19)로 만들어 주겠다고 말씀하셨습니다. 오늘날 우리 역시 그리스도의 제자로서 복음을 전하기 위해 여러 가지 다른 방법들을 쓰며 “사람을 낚아야” 할 것입니다. 우리는 남녀노소, 가족과 친구들 모두에게 그들의 죄와 하나님의 사랑, 그리고 예수님을 믿음으로 얻게 되는 구원의 약속에 대해 얘기해 주어야 할 것입니다. 당신은 사람들을 낚고 있습니까? 다른 사람들에게 그리스도와 복음을 전하기 위해 여러 가지의 다른 방법들을 시도해 보셨습니까? 이 기쁜 소식을 들고 이웃이나 지역사회와 접촉해 보셨습니까? 계속해서 예수님을 따르면 예수님께서 사람을 낚는 법을 가르쳐주실 것입니다.

Matthew 4:18-22

[18] As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
[19] "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
[20] At once they left their nets and followed him.
[21] Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
[22] and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

생각해 봅시다
이웃이나 직장, 혹은 학교에서 그리스도에 대해
사람들과 이야기 나눌 수 있는 방법에 대해 생각해 보십시오.
그 방법에 대해 이야기해 보고, 나가서 시도해 보십시오.

구주를 따르면 주님께서 사람 낚는 법을 가르쳐 주신다.

[21] 거기서 더 가시다가 다른 두 형제 곧 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그 형제 요한이 그 부친 세베대와 한가지로 배에서 그물 깁는 것을 보시고 부르시니
[22] 저희가 곧 배와 부친을 버려두고 예수를 좇으니라
