The King Could		주님은 하실 수 있다
[ Matthew 19:16 - 19:26 ] - hymn 406 With God all things are possible. - Matthew 19:26 Like many young children, I had a favorite book of nursery rhymes. I particularly remember Humpty Dumpty, a big, egg-shaped creature with a painted face and skinny arms and legs, perched happily on a wall. Then he fell and broke into countless pieces. As a child, I felt the hopelessness of the situation whenever I read that they "couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again." Since then, I've come to know Christ as my Savior and Lord. I've experienced His powerful and tender hands restoring the shattered pieces of my life and the lives of others. I've had the joy of seeing many seemingly hopeless drug addicts made new in Christ. As a result, I've added a line to the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme: "What all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't do, the King could!" Are you or someone dear to you feeling shattered and broken today? Remember, no one is hopeless and beyond God's saving help. Jesus said, "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). When the broken pieces of life seem beyond hope of repair, don't give up. We have a King who can put people back together again. - Joanie Yoder		[ 마태복음 19:16 - 19:26 ] - 찬송가 406 장 "하나님으로서는 다할 수 있느니라" － 마태복음 19:26 많은 다른 아이들처럼 나에게도 좋아하는 동요 집이 있었습니다. 나는 가느다란 팔과 다리에 색칠한 얼굴을 가진 큰 달걀 모습의 험티덤티가 행복하게 담장 위에 앉아 있는 모습을 특별히 기억합니다. 그러다가 그는 떨어지면서 산산조각이 나고 맙니다. 어린 나이의 나는 “험티덤티는 이제 다시는 원래 상태로 붙일 수가 없습니다”라는 구절을 읽을 때마다 절망감을 느끼곤 했습니다. 그 후에 나는 그리스도를 나의 구주와 주님으로 영접하였습니다. 나는 나와 다른 사람들의 조각난 삶을 다시 맞추어 주시는 그분의 권능과 부드러운 손길을 체험하게 되었습니다. 나는 구제가 불가능해 보이던 많은 마약 중독자들이 그리스도 안에서 새롭게 태어나는 것을 지금까지 보아오며 기뻤습니다. 그래서 나는 험티덤티의 동요에 다음과 같은 말을 덧붙였습니다. “왕의 말들이나 기사들도 못하는 것을 왕이신 주님은 하실 수 있다!” 오늘 당신이나 당신이 사랑하는 누군가의 삶이 깨어지고 부서졌다고 느껴지지 않습니까? 기억하십시오. 소망이 없어 하나님의 구원의 손길이 미치지 못하는 사람은 하나도 없습니다. “하나님으로서는 다 할 수 있느니라” (마 19:26)고 예수님이 말씀하셨습니다. 삶이 조각이 나고 고칠 수 있는 소망이 없어 보인다 해도 포기하지 마십시오. 우리에게는 깨어진 사람들을 다시 고치실 수 있는 왕이 계십니다.

A healing touch His grace applies

God's hands can mend your broken heart.

Matthew 19:16-26

[16] Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?"
[17] "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."
[18] "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, "'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,
[19] honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"
[20] "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?"
[21] Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
[22] When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
[23] Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
[24] Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
[25] When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"
[26] Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

주님은 상한 심령에 가까이 다가오시며
죄로 고통받는 회개하는 영혼들을 구원하십니다.
그는 은혜로 치유의 손을 내미사
상처받은 영혼을 온전케 하십니다.

하나님의 손길은 당신의 부서진 마음을 고쳐 주신다.

마태복음 19:16-26

[16] 어떤 사람이 주께 와서 가로되 선생님이여 내가 무슨 선한 일을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
[17] 예수께서 가라사대 어찌하여 선한 일을 내게 묻느냐 선한 이는 오직 한 분이시니라 네가 생명에 들어가려면 계명들을 지키라
[18] 가로되 어느 계명이오니이까 예수께서 가라사대 살인하지말라, 간음하지말라, 도적질하지 말라, 거짓 증거하지말라,
[19] 네 부모를 공경하라, 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하신 것이니라
[20] 그 청년이 가로되 이 모든 것을 내가 지키었사오니 아직도 무엇이 부족하니이까
[21] 예수께서 가라사대 네가 온전하고자 할진대 가서 네 소유를 팔아 가난한 자들을 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 좇으라 하시니
[22] 그 청년이 재물이 많으므로 이 말씀을 듣고 근심하며 가니라
[23] 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 부자는 천국에 들어가기가 어려우니라
[24] 다시 너희에게 말하노니 약대가 바늘귀로 들어가는 것이 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라 하신대
[25] 제자들이 듣고 심히 놀라 가로되 그런즉 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있으리이까
[26] 예수께서 저희를 보시며 가라사대 사람으로는 할 수 없으되 하나님으로서는 다 할 수 있느니라
