[ Matthew 21:12 - 21:16 ] - hymn 301 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise. - Matthew 21:16 Children seem to be more comfortable using computers than their parents are. Because of this, a manufacturer trying to increase sales to adults advertised a certain computer with the slogan: "So easy, even an adult can operate it!" (And if they still have problems, they can ask their children.) This isn't the first time adults have had something to learn from children. When Jesus came to Jerusalem and performed healings in the temple, it was the children who were quick to recognize who He was and to shout, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" (Matthew 21:15). The chief priests and scribes, though, weren't willing to listen and learn from the children. They refused to take Jesus seriously. Instead, they took Him to task by asking, "Do you hear what these are saying?" "Yes!" Jesus replied. Then, quoting from Psalm 8:2, He said, "Have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise'?" (Matthew 21:16). Attention, parents, teachers, neighbors, and all other grownups! We need to remind ourselves that we don't know it all. Let's be humble enough to listen and learn something God wants to teach us through the faith of a child. - JEY		[ 마태복음 21:12 - 21:16 ] - 찬송가 301 장 "…어린아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전케 하셨나이다…" - 마태복음 21:16 아이들은 어른보다 컴퓨터를 더 쉽게 다루는 것 같습니다. 이 때문에 한 컴퓨터 회사는 어른들을 대상으로 매상을 올려보려고 이런 광고를 했습니다. "어찌나 쉬운지 어른들도 사용할 수 있음!" (그래도 문제가 있으면 아이들에게 물어보면 됩니다.) 어른들이 아이들로부터 배워야 할 것을 말하자면 이것이 처음은 아닙니다. 예수님이 예루살렘에 오셔서 성전에서 병자들을 고치실 때 아이들은 금방 예수님이 누구인지를 알아보고는 "호산나 다윗의 자손이여" (마 21:15)라고 외쳤습니다. 그러나 대제사장들과 서기관들은 아이들의 말에 주의를 기울이지도 않고 배우려 하지도 않았습니다. 그들은 예수님을 진지하게 받아들이기를 거부했을 뿐만 아니라 "저희의 하는 말을 듣느뇨"하며 예수님에게 탓을 돌렸습니다. 예수님께서는 "듣고있다"고 답하시며 시편 8:2의 말씀을 인용하여 "어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전케 하셨나이다 함을 너희가 읽어본 일이 없느냐" (마 21:16)하고 응답하셨습니다. 부모님들, 선생님들, 이웃들, 그리고 모든 어른들은 잘 들어주십시오! 어른들도 모든 것을 알지 못한다는 사실을 기억해야 합니다. 하나님께서 아이들의 믿음을 통해 우리에게 가르치시려고 하는 것들을 겸손한 마음으로 듣고 배웁시다.

Big lessons can be learned from little children.

Matthew 21:12-16

[12] Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the benches of those selling doves.
[13] "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"
[14] The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.
[15] But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.
[16] "Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"

배워야 할 지혜와
더 자랄 수 있는 길이 무한히 많습니다.
주님, 저는 아이들처럼 듣겠습니다.
그리고 주님이 원하시는 것을 배워 알기 원합니다.

때로는 작은 아이들에게서 큰 진리를 배울 수 있다.

마태복음 21:12-16

[12] 예수께서 성전에 들어가사 성전 안에서 매매하는 모든 자를 내어 쫓으시며 돈 바꾸는 자들의 상과 비둘기 파는 자들의 의자를 둘러 엎으시고
[13] 저희에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이라 일컬음을 받으리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 굴혈을 만드는도다 하시니라
[14] 소경과 저는 자들이 성전에서 예수께 나아오매 고쳐 주시니
[15] 대제사장들과 서기관들이 예수의 하시는 이상한 일과 또 성전에서 소리질러 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 하는 아이들을 보고 분하여
[16] 예수께 말하되 저희의 하는 말을 듣느뇨 예수께서 가라사대 그렇다 어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전케 하셨나이다 함을 너희가 읽어 본 일이 없느냐 하시고
