Shut The Door!		문을 닫으세요!
[ Matthew 6:5 - 6:13 ] - hymn 483 When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father. - Matthew 6:6 Years ago, a man who was visiting the United States wanted to make a telephone call. He entered a phone booth but found it to be different from those in his own country. It was beginning to get dark, so he had difficulty finding the number in the directory. He saw a light in the ceiling but didn't know how to turn it on. As the man tried again to find the number, a passerby noticed his plight and said, "Sir, if you want to turn the light on, you have to shut the door." To the visitor's amazement, when he closed the door, the booth was filled with light. He soon located the number and completed the call. In a similar way, when we draw aside to a quiet place to pray (Matthew 6:6), we must "shut the door" to block out our busy world. As we open our hearts to the Father, we receive the light of His wisdom. Our Lord often went to be alone with His heavenly Father for strength and guidance. Sometimes it was after a busy day of preaching and healing (Luke 5:12-16). At other times, it was before making a major decision (Luke 6:12-13). We can have the confidence that "if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14). But we must remember that to "turn the light on," we must first "shut the door" by getting alone with God. - RWD		[ 마태복음 6:5 - 6:13 ] - 찬송가 483 장 "너는 기도할 때에 네 골방에 들어가 문을 닫고 은밀한 중에 계신 네 아버지께 기도하라…" - 마태복음 6:6 오래 전 미국을 방문 중이던 한 사람이 전화를 걸 일이 생겼습니다. 공중전화 박스로 들어간 그는 전화 박스가 자기 나라의 것과는 다르다는 것을 알았습니다. 날이 어두워지던 때라 전화번호부에서 번호를 찾기가 어려웠습니다. 천장에 전등이 있었지만 어떻게 불을 켜는지 알 수가 없었습니다. 다시 전화번호를 찾으려고 계속 애를 쓰고 있는데 지나가던 한 사람이 그 상황을 보고는 "불을 켜시려면 문을 닫아야 합니다"라고 말해 주었습니다. 그 사람이 문을 닫자 놀랍게도 공중전화 박스 안이 불빛으로 환해졌습니다. 그는 곧 전화번호를 찾아 통화를 할 수 있었습니다. 이와 마찬가지로 우리도 기도를 하기 위해 조용한 장소로 갈 때 (마 6:6)에는 바쁜 세상을 차단하기 위해 "문을 닫아야만" 합니다. 우리가 아버지께로 향하여 마음을 열 때에 그분의 지혜의 빛을 받게 됩니다. 우리 주님도 종종 밖에 나가 하나님 아버지와 단둘이 지내시며 힘을 얻고 인도하심을 받았습니다. 때로는 말씀 선포와 병자 치료로 바쁜 하루를 보낸 후에 기도를 하셨고 (눅 5:12-16), 때로는 중대한 결정을 내리시기 전에도 하였습니다 (눅 6:12-13). 우리는 "그의 뜻대로 무엇을 구하면 들으심이라" (요일 5:14)고 하신 말씀을 믿을 수 있습니다. 그러나 "불을 켜기 위해서는" 먼저 하나님과 단둘이 있기 위해 "문을 닫아야" 한다는 것을 기억해야 합니다.

That in the secret place of prayer

Matthew 6:5-13

[5] "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
[6] But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
[7] And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
[8] Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
[9] "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
[10] your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[11] Give us today our daily bread.
[12] Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

오 주님, 다른 모든 일들을 내려놓고
시간을 낼 수 있게 하소서.
제가 은밀한 기도 장소에서
당신을 따르기를 원하나이다.

성공적인 기도 비결의 하나는 은밀하게 기도드리는 것이다.

마태복음 6:5-13

[5] 또 너희가 기도할 때에 외식하는 자와 같이 되지 말라 저희는 사람에게 보이려고 회당과 큰 거리 어귀에 서서 기도하기를 좋아하느니라 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 저희는 자기 상을 이미 받았느니라
[6] 너는 기도할 때에 네 골방에 들어가 문을 닫고 은밀한 중에 계신 네 아버지께 기도하라 은밀한 중에 보시는 네 아버지께서 갚으시리라
[7] 또 기도할 때에 이방인과 같이 중언부언하지 말라 저희는 말을 많이 하여야 들으실 줄 생각하느니라
[8] 그러므로 저희를 본받지 말라 구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라
[9] 그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며
[10] 나라이 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다
[11] 오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고
[12] 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 자를 사하여 준 것 같이 우리 죄를 사하여 주옵시고
[13] 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵시고 다만 악에서 구하옵소서 (나라와 권세와 영광이 아버지께 영원히 있사옵나이다 아멘)
