Man Of Contrasts		대조의 삶을 사신 분
[ Matthew 21:1 - 21:11 ] - hymn 82 Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! - Matthew 21:9 On that first Palm Sunday, one might have expected Jesus the King to enter Jerusalem on a mighty steed. But He chose instead a lowly donkey. Before He could come as a King to reign, He had to come as a Savior to die. Throughout His life on earth, Jesus was a man of striking contrasts-reflecting both His genuine humanity and His full deity. Someone once wrote this about Jesus: "He who is the Bread of Life began His ministry hungering. He who is the Water of Life ended His ministry thirsting. Christ hungered as a man, yet fed the hungry as God. He was weary, yet He is our rest. He paid tribute, yet He is the King. He was called a devil, but He cast out demons. He prayed, yet He hears prayer. He wept, and He dries our tears. He was sold for 30 pieces of silver, yet He redeems sinners. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, yet He is the Good Shepherd. He gave His life, and by dying He destroyed death." We would expect to find such contrasts in the life of One who was fully God and fully man. Jesus, who is the sovereign Lord of the universe, became a man to provide for our redemption. But one day He will return as King of kings. '생명의 떡이신 분이 굶주리며 사역을 시작하셨고, 생명수 되신 분이 갈증 속에서 자신의 사역을 마치셨다. 그리스도는 한 인간으로서 배고프셨지만, 또한 하나님으로서 배고픈 무리를 먹이셨다. 그는 피곤하셨지만, 또한 우리의 안식처가 되신다. 세금을 내셨지만, 또한 왕이시다. 마귀라는 말을 들으셨으나, 또한 마귀를 내쫓으셨다. 기도를 하시면서, 또한 기도를 들으신다. 울기도 하셨지만, 또한 우리의 눈물을 닦아주신다. 은 30냥에 팔리셨지만, 또한 죄인들을 피로써 되사신다. 양으로 도살장에 끌려 가셨지만, 또한 선한 목자이시다. 자기의 목숨을 주셨으나, 죽음으로써 사망을 깨뜨리셨다.' 완전한 하나님이시고 완전한 인간이신 그 분의 삶 속에서 그러한 정반대의 삶을 볼 수 있는 것은 당연한 일일 것입니다. 우주를 통치하시는 주님 되시는 예수님이 우리의 죄를 속량해 주시기 위해 한 인간이 되셨습니다. 그러나 그분은 어느날 왕 중의 왕으로 다시 오실 것입니다. 하나님이며 또한 인간이신 예수님은 우리의 모든 찬양을 받으실 분입니다.

Matthew 21:1-11

[1] As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,
[2] saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.
[3] If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."
[4] This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
[5] "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"
[6] The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
[7] They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.
[8] A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
[9] The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"
[10] When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"
[11] The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

하나님의 아들 예수님께 모든 영광을 드립니다.
스스로 있는 자라 하신 위대한 그분이 예수님입니다.
창조주되시고 만물을 운행하시는 그분
그러나 무엇보다 갈보리산의 어린 양이 그분입니다.

나사렛의 비천한 목수
그분은 우주를 지으신 위대한 건축가이셨다.

마태복음 21:1-11

[1] 저희가 예루살렘에 가까이 와서 감람산 벳바게에 이르렀을 때에 예수께서 두 제자를 보내시며
[2] 이르시되 너희 맞은편 마을로 가라 곧 매인 나귀와 나귀 새끼가 함께 있는 것을 보리니 풀어 내게로 끌고 오너라
[3] 만일 누가 무슨 말을 하거든 주가 쓰시겠다 하라 그리하면 즉시 보내리라 하시니
[4] 이는 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이라 일렀으되
[5] 시온 딸에게 이르기를 네 왕이 네게 임하나니 그는 겸손하여 나귀 곧 멍에 메는 짐승의 새끼를 탔도다 하라 하였느니라
[6] 제자들이 가서 예수의 명하신대로 하여
[7] 나귀와 나귀 새끼를 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 얹으매 예수께서 그 위에 타시니
[8] 무리의 대부분은 그 겉옷을 길에 펴며 다른 이는 나무가지를 베어 길에 펴고
[9] 앞에서 가고 뒤에서 따르는 무리가 소리질러 가로되 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나 하더라
[10] 예수께서 예루살렘에 들어가시니 온 성이 소동하여 가로되 이는 누구뇨 하거늘
[11] 무리가 가로되 갈릴리 나사렛에서 나온 선지자 예수라 하니라
