EXTENDING GOD’S LOVE		하나님의 사랑을 널리 실천하기
[ Luke 10:27 - 10:37 ] - hymn 465 Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” [ LUKE 10:37 ] One winter day in Michigan, a delivery man noticed an elderly woman shoveling snow off her driveway. He stopped and convinced the eighty-one-year-old to let him finish the job. Concerned that he’d be late delivering his other packages, she retrieved another shovel. They worked side by side for almost fifteen minutes as her neighbors watched from afar. “I’m thankful you helped me,” she said. “You’re God-sent.” During a conversation with an expert in the law, Jesus redefined the concept of loving our neighbors (LUKE 10:25-37). When Jesus asked him to interpret the law he knew so well, the expert said, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’ ” (V. 27). Then Jesus shared a story about two religious leaders who ignored a robbery victim. But a Samaritan—a person most Jewish leaders in those days considered inferior—sacrificed to help the man in need (VV. 30-35). When the expert of the law realized that the one who had mercy on the man had loved like a neighbor, Jesus encouraged him to do likewise (VV. 36-37). Loving others isn’t always easy or convenient. But as Jesus overwhelms us with His love, He’ll help us love all our neighbors like the Good Samaritan did. XOCHITL DIXON		[ 누가복음 10:27 - 10:37 ] - 찬송가 465 장 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 [누가복음 10:37] 미시간 주의 어느 겨울날 있었던 일입니다. 한 배달원이 어느 할머니가 집 앞의 눈을 치우고 있는 것을 보았습니다. 이 배달원은 멈춰 서서 여든 한 살의 할머니에게 자기가 나머지 눈을 다 치우겠다고 말했습니다. 다른 소포 배달이 늦어질까 걱정이 된 할머니는 다른 삽을 들고 함께 눈을 치웠습니다. 두 사람은 이웃들이 멀리서 지켜보는 가운데 거의 15분 동안 나란히 서서 일했습니다. 할머니는 “도와줘서 고마워요. 하나님이 당신을 보내주셨네요.”라고 말했습니다. 예수님은 율법교사와의 대화 중에 이웃 사랑의 개념을 새롭게 정의 하셨습니다(누가복음 10:25-37). 예수님이 이웃사랑에 대해 그가 잘 알고 있는 법의 해석을 물었을 때, 그 율법교사는 이렇게 대답합니다. “네 마음을 다하며 목숨을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하였나이다”(27절). 그러자 예수님은 강도 당한 피해자를 외면한 두 종교 지도자에 대한 이야기를 하시면서, 그 당시 대부분의 유대 지도자들이 멸시했던 사마리아인이 오히려 자신을 희생하며 어려움에 처한 사람을 도와주었다고 말씀하셨습니다 (30-35절). 율법교사가 강도 당한 사람에게 자비를 베푼 그 사람이 이웃처럼 사랑했다는 사실을 깨닫자, 예수님은 그에게 그 사마리아인과 같이 하라고 권면하셨습니다(36-37절). 다른 이들을 사랑하는 일은 항상 쉽고 편하지는 않습니다. 하지만 사랑을 넘치도록 우리에게 베푸시는 예수님은 우리도 선한 사마리아인처럼 우리의 이웃을 사랑할 수 있게 도와주실 것입니다.

How has God shown you His love through an unexpected neighbor? Who can you show God’s love to in a practical way this week?

Dear Jesus, please give me opportunities to love all the people You created and call my neighbors.

27. He answered: "`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, `Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
28. "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."
29. But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
30. In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
31. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.
32. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
34. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.
35. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. `Look after him,' he said, `and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'
36. "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"
37. The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

하나님은 어떻게 당신에게 예상치 못한 이웃을 통해
그분의 사랑을 보여 주셨습니까? 이번 주에 어떻게 하나님의 사랑을 실제적으로 보여줄 수 있을까요?

사랑하는 예수님, 주님이 창조한 모든 이들을 사랑하고 내 이웃이라 부를 기회를 주소서.

27. 대답하여 이르되 네 마음을 다하며 목숨을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하였나이다

29. 그 사람이 자기를 옳게 보이려고 예수께 여짜오되 그러면 내 이웃이 누구니이까
30. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가 강도를 만나매 강도들이 그 옷을 벗기고 때려 거의 죽은 것을 버리고 갔더라
31. 마침 한 제사장이 그 길로 내려가다가 그를 보고 피하여 지나가고
32. 또 이와 같이 한 레위인도 그 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되
33. 어떤 사마리아 사람은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
34. 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워 주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주니라
35. 그 이튿날 그가 주막 주인에게 데나리온 둘을 내어 주며 이르되 이 사람을 돌보아 주라 비용이 더 들면 내가 돌아올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니
36. 네 생각에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐
37. 이르되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 하시니라
