IN GOD’S LINE OF SIGHT		하나님의 시야 안에서
[ Psalms 121 ] - hymn 301 The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. [ PSALM 121:8 ] Trina received a free ticket to a sold-out event and tucked it into her Bible. Later, her son saw her frantically searching through the pantry. When she explained that she’d lost her Bible, he asked why she was looking in the food cupboard. “Because I’ve looked everywhere else, and the event starts in thirty minutes,” she said. “I don’t want to miss one moment.” Her son chuckled. “Breathe, Mom,” he said. “I think you’re suf-fering from FOMO, the fear of missing out.” She laughed. As her son joined the search, Trina’s husband entered. “You left this in the car,” he said, holding up the Bible. While it’s not wrong to enjoy unexpected blessings, big breaks, or once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, a desire for enjoy-ment can easily turn into a fear of missing out. We can even be tempted to think God holds out on us or loses sight of us. However, the “Maker of heaven and earth” (PSALM 121:2) is our ever-watchful and never-sleeping provider and protector (VV. 3-7). So we don’t have to fret over detours, delays, or even missed opportunities. God will watch over our “coming and going both now and forevermore” (V. 8). During times of affliction, seasons of abundance, and in every mundane moment God plans for us in-between, we’re always in His line of sight. We won’t miss out on anything God has planned for us to experience. XOCHITL DIXON		[ 시편 121 ] - 찬송가 301 장 여호와께서 너의 출입을 지금부터 영원까지 지키시리로다 [시편 121:8] 트리나는 매진된 공연의 무료입장권을 얻어 성경에 꽂아 두었습니다. 나중에 그녀가 부엌 찬장을 정신없이 뒤지는 모습을 아들이 보았습니다. 그녀가 성경책을 잃어버렸다고 설명하자 아들은 왜 찬장에서 그걸 찾느냐고 물었습니다. 엄마는 “행사가 30분 후에 시작하는데 아무리 찾아봐도 없네. 한 순간도 놓치고 싶지 않은데”라고 말했습니다. 아들은 웃으며 “숨 좀 돌려요, 엄마. 포모 증후군(기회를 놓칠까 하는 두려움) 같네요”라고 말 했습니다. 엄마가 웃었습니다. 아들도 함께 찾고 있는데 남편이 들어왔습니다. 그가 성경책을 들어 보이며 말했습니다. “이거 차에 두고 내렸네.” 예상치 못한 축복이나, 큰 휴식, 혹은 일생일대의 기회가 왔을 때 이를 누리는 것은 잘못된 것은 아닙니다. 하지만 즐거움에 대한 열망은 그것을 놓치면 어쩌나 하는 두려움으로 변하기 쉽습니다. 우리는 하나님이 우리를 거부하시거나 잊어버리셨다고 생각하기까지 합니다. 그러나 “천지를 지으신 여호와”(시편 121:2)는 우리를 항상 보고 계시고 주무시지도 않는 우리의 공급자이시며 보호자이십니다(3-7절). 그래서 우리는 우회와 지연과 심지어 놓친 기회에 대해서도 초조해 할 필요가 없습니다. 하나님은 우리의 “출입을 지금부터 영원까지”(8절) 지켜주실 것입니다. 고난의 시기와 풍족의 시기, 그리고 그 중간에 하나님이 우리를 위해 계획하신 모든 소소한 일상의 순간들 속에서 우리는 항상 하나님의 시야 안에 있습니다. 하나님이 우리에게 경험하도록 예비하신 것을 우리는 하나도 놓치지 않을 것입니다.

Faithful God, thank You for keeping me in Your line of sight.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

하나님의 시야 안에 있다는 사실이 삶에 어떤 영향을 줍니까?

3 ○여호와께서 너를 실족하지 아니하게 하시며 너를 지키시는 이가 졸지 아니하시리로다

4 이스라엘을 지키시는 이는 졸지도 아니하시고 주무시지도 아니하시리로다

5 여호와는 너를 지키시는 이시라 여호와께서 네 오른쪽에서 네 그늘이 되시나니

6 낮의 해가 너를 상하게 하지 아니하며 밤의 달도 너를 해치지 아니하리로다

7 여호와께서 너를 지켜 모든 환난을 면하게 하시며 또 네 영혼을 지키시리로다

8 여호와께서 너의 출입을 지금부터 영원까지 지키시리로다
