1He made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high. 2 Then he made the sea of cast metal. It was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference. 3 Under it were figures of gourds, for ten cubits, compassing the sea all around. The gourds were in two rows, cast with it when it was cast. 4 It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The sea was set on them, and all their rear parts were inward. 5 Its thickness was a handbreadth. And its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily. It held3,000 baths. 6 He also made ten basins in which to wash, and set five on the south side, and five on the north side. In these they were to rinse off what was used for the burnt offering, and the sea was for the priests to wash in. 7 And he made ten golden lampstands as prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. 8 He also made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. And he made a hundred basins of gold. 9 He made the court of the priests and the great court and doors for the court and overlaid their doors with bronze. 10 And he set the sea at the southeast corner of the house. 11 Hiram also made the pots, the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram finished the work that he did for King Solomon on the house of God: 12 the two pillars, the bowls, and the two capitals on the top of the pillars; and the two latticeworks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; 13 and the400 pomegranates for the two latticeworks, two rows of pomegranates for each latticework, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars. 14 He made the stands also, and the basins on the stands, 15 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen underneath it. 16 The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all the equipment for these Huram-abi made of burnished bronze for King Solomon for the house of the LORD. 17 In the plain of the Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah. 18 Solomon made all these things in great quantities, for the weight of the bronze was not sought. 19 So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence, 20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed; 21 the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; 22 the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and fire pans, of pure gold, and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.
1솔로몬이 놋으로 제단을 만들었는데, 그 길이가 스무 자이고, 너비가 스무 자이고, 높이가 열 자이다. 2 그 다음에 후람은 또 놋쇠를 부어서 바다 모양 물통을 만들었는데, 그 바다 모양 물통은, 그 지름이 열 자, 높이가 다섯 자, 둘레가 서른 자이고, 둥근 모양을 한 물통이었다. 3 그 가장자리 아래로는 돌아가면서, 놋쇠로 만든 황소 모양이 있는데, 이것들은 놋쇠로 바다 모양 물통을 만들 때에, 두 줄로 부어서 만든 것이다. 4 또한 열두 마리의 놋쇠 황소가 바다 모양 물통을 떠받치고 있는데, 세 마리는 북쪽을 바라보고, 세 마리는 서쪽을 바라보고, 세 마리는 남쪽을 바라보고, 세 마리는 동쪽을 바라보고 서 있는데, 등으로 바다 모형을 떠받치고 있었다. 황소는 모두 엉덩이를 안쪽으로 향하고 있었다. 5 그 놋쇠로 된 바다 모양 물통의 두께는 손 너비만 하였다. 그 테두리는 나리꽃 봉오리 모양으로, 잔의 테두리처럼 둥글게 만들었다. 그 용량은 물을 삼천 말 정도 담을 수 있는 것이었다. 6 솔로몬은 또 씻을 물을 담는 대야 열 개를 만들어서, 다섯은 오른쪽에 두고, 다섯은 왼쪽에 두어, 번제물을 씻는 데에 사용하게 하였다. 그러나 바다 모양 물통에 담긴 물은 제사장들이 씻을 물이었다. 7 그는 또 금등잔대 열 개를 규격대로 만들어서 본당 안에 두었는데, 다섯은 오른쪽에, 다섯은 왼쪽에 두었다. 8 그는 또 상 열 개를 만들어서 본당 안에 두었는데, 다섯은 오른쪽에, 다섯은 왼쪽에 두었다. 그는 또 금쟁반 백 개를 만들었다. 9 그는 또 제사장의 뜰과 큰 뜰을 만들고, 큰 뜰 대문에는 문짝들을 만들어서 달고, 놋쇠를 입혔다. 10 바다 모양 물통은 성전의 오른쪽 동남쪽 모퉁이에 두었다. 11 후람은 또 솥과 부삽과 대접을 만들었다. 이렇게 후람은, 솔로몬 왕이 하나님의 성전에다가 해 놓으라고 시킨 모든 일을 마쳤다. 12 그가 만든 것들은, 기둥과, 그 두 기둥 꼭대기에 얹은 둥근 공 모양을 한 기둥머리 둘과, 그 두 기둥 꼭대기에 있는 공 모양을 한 기둥머리에 씌운 그물 두 개와, 13 기둥 꼭대기에 있는 공 모양을 한 기둥머리에 씌운 각 그물에다가 두 줄로 장식한 석류 사백 개를 만들었다. 14 또 그가 만든 것은, 받침대와 받침대 위에 놓을 대야와, 15 바다 모양 물통 한 개와 그 바다 모양 물통 아래에 받쳐 놓은 황소 모양 열두 개와, 16 솥과 부삽과 고기 갈고리였다. 이런 일의 전문가인 후람이 주님의 성전에서 쓸 것으로 솔로몬에게 바친 모든 기구는, 광택 나는 놋쇠로 만든 것들이었다. 17 왕은 이 기구들을, 숙곳과 스레다 사이에 있는 요단 계곡의 진흙에 부어서 만들게 하였다. 18 솔로몬이 이 모든 기구를 너무나 많이 만들었으므로, 여기에 사용된 놋쇠의 무게는 아무도 모른다. 19 솔로몬이 또 하나님의 성전 안에다가 둘 기구를 만들었으니, 곧 금 제단과, 빵을 늘 차려 놓는 상들과, 20 지성소 앞에 규례대로 켜 놓을 순금 등잔들과, 등잔대들과, 21 순금으로 만든 꽃장식과 등잔과 부집게와, 22 순금으로 만든 심지 다듬는 집게와, 대접과, 숟가락과, 불 옮기는 그릇과, 성전 어귀, 곧 성전의 맨 안쪽 지성소의 문짝들과, 성전 본관의 문짝들이었다. 이 문짝들도 금으로 입혔다.
