1This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were930 years, and he died. 6 When Seth had lived105 years, he fathered Enosh. 7 Seth lived after he fathered Enosh807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were912 years, and he died. 9 When Enosh had lived90 years, he fathered Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were905 years, and he died. 12 When Kenan had lived70 years, he fathered Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were910 years, and he died. 15 When Mahalalel had lived65 years, he fathered Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Thus all the days of Mahalalel were895 years, and he died. 18 When Jared had lived162 years, he fathered Enoch. 19 Jared lived after he fathered Enoch800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Thus all the days of Jared were962 years, and he died. 21 When Enoch had lived65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him. 25 When Methuselah had lived187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were969 years, and he died. 28 When Lamech had lived182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the LORD has cursed, this one shall bring us relief from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were777 years, and he died. 32 After Noah was500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
1아담의 역사는 이러하다. 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에, 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 만드셨다. 2 하나님은 그들을 남자와 여자로 창조하셨다. 그들을 창조하시던 날에, 하나님은 그들에게 복을 주시고, 그들의 이름을 ‘사람’이라고 하셨다. 3 아담은 백서른 살에 자기의 형상 곧 자기의 모습을 닮은 아이를 낳고, 이름을 셋이라고 하였다. 4 아담은 셋을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 5 아담은 모두 구백삼십 년을 살고 죽었다. 6 셋은 백다섯 살에 에노스를 낳았다. 7 셋은 에노스를 낳은 뒤에, 팔백칠 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 8 셋은 모두 구백십이 년을 살고 죽었다. 9 에노스는 아흔 살에 게난을 낳았다. 10 에노스는 게난을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백십오 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 11 에노스는 모두 구백오 년을 살고 죽었다. 12 게난은 일흔 살에 마할랄렐을 낳았다. 13 게난은 마할랄렐을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백사십 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 14 게난은 모두 구백십 년을 살고 죽었다. 15 마할랄렐은 예순다섯 살에 야렛을 낳았다. 16 마할랄렐은 야렛을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백삼십 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 17 마할랄렐은 모두 팔백구십오 년을 살고 죽었다. 18 야렛은 백예순두 살에 에녹을 낳았다. 19 야렛은 에녹을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 20 야렛은 모두 구백육십이 년을 살고 죽었다. 21 에녹은 예순다섯 살에 므두셀라를 낳았다. 22 에녹은 므두셀라를 낳은 뒤에, 삼백 년 동안 하나님과 동행하면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 23 에녹은 모두 삼백육십오 년을 살았다. 24 에녹은 하나님과 동행하다가 사라졌다. 하나님이 그를 데려가신 것이다. 25 므두셀라는 백여든일곱 살에 라멕을 낳았다. 26 므두셀라는 라멕을 낳은 뒤에, 칠백팔십이 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 27 므두셀라는 모두 구백육십구 년을 살고 죽었다. 28 라멕은 백여든두 살에 아들을 낳았다. 29 그는 아들의 이름을 노아라고 짓고 말하였다. “주님께서 저주하신 땅 때문에, 우리가 수고하고 고통을 겪어야 하는데, 이 아들이 우리를 위로할 것이다.” 30 라멕은 노아를 낳은 뒤에, 오백아흔다섯 살을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 31 라멕은 모두 칠백칠십칠 년을 살고 죽었다. 32 노아는 오백 살이 지나서, 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았다.
